But also a bit of a “whoa, what have I done?” way at first. I sprayed two times—two—before heading to the gym. Thought I was being modest. I wasn’t. Big mistake. This thing? Nuclear. I’m talking room-filler-from-a-distance strong. Like... people legit avoided me. Or came closer, weirdly. 52/48 split. It was giving off “either this guy smells amazing or he spilt something volatile on himself.” I didn’t even want to lift weights; I just stood there wondering if I should apologise to the entire room. Took a shower after, and I still caught a whiff. Now, performance aside—let’s talk scent. Because wow. Dream Sea is... honestly, kind of stunning. Yeah, it’s got that synthetic edge in places, but for once, I don’t mind. It’s so cleanly done. Smooth. Airy. Refreshing without being cold. It unfolds like a story. The opening? Absolute magic. That salty-citrus combo hits you like sea spray on hot rocks. It’s alive, like you're standing on a sun-drenched cliff above the Adriatic. There’s bergamot, lemon, a bit of that mineral “coastline” vibe—almost makes you squint like you've just stepped out into bright sunshine. But then it gets herbal. Not in a gentle Provençal way, either—this leans into the sharp, slightly medicinal rosemary-sage zone. Personally, I love it. It adds backbone. Keeps it from being just another freshie. But yeah... I can see how it might turn some people off. It’s bold. Feels like brushing past wild herbs on a hike, barefoot, sunburnt, slightly delirious. The drydown? Honestly, that’s where I start to miss the magic a little. It softens into something muskier. Still nice, still wearable, just not as special as those opening and mid phases. Think: sirens retreating back under the water, leaving you alone on the rocks with only the memory of their song. What I love: ⦁ That first 30–60 mins is everything. Citrus, sea salt, herbs... like you're driving along the Amalfi coast with the windows down and the sun kissing your skin. ⦁ Not your typical aquatic. There's depth, there's movement. It’s more dreamscape than beach party. ⦁ Surprisingly good projection (especially for a summer frag). Who’s this for? ⦁ Anyone bored with blue frags and wants something with texture. ⦁ Lovers of fresh, herbal Mediterranean vibes. ⦁ People who think Cool Water smells like teenage regret. Who might not vibe with it? ⦁ If you hate herbal notes that lean medicinal. ⦁ If you're expecting beast mode all the way—this one starts loud, but chills out quickly. ⦁ If you like sweet, fruity, easy summer scents—this ain’t that. Final thoughts: Dream Sea feels like the kind of scent you reach for when you're craving escapism. Something about it just transports you—briefly—to a villa somewhere, salt on your lips, wild thyme in the breeze. Is it perfect? Not quite. But it’s easily one of the most unique summer releases I’ve tried lately. Best worn: During golden hour, windows down, driving nowhere in particular.

The opening hits like a punch straight to the nose from a fist covered in ice-cold sea salt. It’s powerful, almost shocking, and for a moment it feels like the ocean itself decided to introduce itself by force. I can understand why some people might find it overwhelming, but I absolutely love that first impact. About twenty minutes later, the beautiful beating finally settles down. Suddenly, I’m standing on the edge of a cliff overlooking a rough sea under a cloudy sky. The air is cool, the waves crash violently against the rocks, and every gust of wind throws tiny drops of salty water onto my face. It’s one of the deepest and most atmospheric marine fragrances I’ve ever smelled. I honestly don’t know how they managed to bottle that feeling. The only downside is that I quickly become nose blind to it. After a few hours I can barely detect it, but my girlfriend keeps telling me she can still smell it on me. The best proof came the next morning: I picked up the hoodie I had worn the day before, and in an instant I was transported right back to that cliff above the raging sea. It had never really disappeared—I had simply stopped noticing it. This is not a tropical beach fragrance. It’s the sea at its wildest, coldest, and most beautiful. 9.5/10

Wow. I knew this one would be surprising, but I'm still a bit taken aback at how beautiful and unique this is. Its synthetic but in this case I dont care lol. It's extraordinally well blended, and the fragrance is so soft to my nose that it seems to unfurl on the skin. It still retains a refreshing, almost cooling essence for most of the wear. The vanilla opens first on me, with pepper and a deeply salty aquatic note hovering nearby. Melon peeks out here and there, and theres an unusual mentholish note that occasionally make an appearance. The woods in this are absolutely perfect, and the notes as a whole are fairly seamless. Signature worthy, for summer and spring, probably just very slightly masculine but mostly unisex. Good sillage, good longevity, and the perfume sort of floats by in an inviting but unintrusive way throughout the wear- my fave. I love this.

Aquatic Layton opening, and that's the resemblance I get. The vanilla isn't similar to Ani's, nor does this develop in the same way as Layton. Does not smell like Black Sea or others in the Sea line. Daily driver, this one is likely to pull compliments. It is quite appealing to others, not a hard fragrance to wear nor it's a strong performer. It has sufficient performance. I love experiencing its development on skin. Plus, the bottle is straight up the best, right there with Black Sea, though I'm not sure I see it as a green fragrance (as the label may suggest) other than the minty presence. Rather masculine, I do not see this being a fragrance many women will like to smell on them, other than from their men. Definitely worth the sample, but still think it's not a bad blind buy, as it is very likeable and a bit mass-appealing.

Dream Sea is certainly the most particular among Lorenzo Pazzaglia's Marine scents, in my opinion not comparable to any other fragrance. I experience it as a portrait of myself on a cool spring night, sitting alone on the shoreline admiring the sea, its smell and its noise. The citrus and peppery opening on a cloud of marine notes makes this sea initially cold, but then, with the appearance of white flowers and vanilla scents, it brings it closer to my feelings, making it beautiful and familiar. The duration is exceptional, the sillage is equally exceptional, it's really a great perfume.

This is just so strong and nuclear that I had to open the doors because everything was smelling like this after ONE spray. This is potent guys, spray like 1 or 2 at MAX and you are good to go for like 1-2 days, it's insane. This perfume, for some reason, probably because of the vanilla, really reminds me of the Axe Chocolate spray and the Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir... I just can’t help but think of those whenever I smell it. It’s actually very interesting... it’s still hard to say what I think, since it just arrived today and I’m only using it for the first time now.

Very pleasent sweet peppery green marine fragrance with a large dose of vanilla which make the fragrance sweet and smooth. It trully reminds me of Nishane Ani but without the ginger and cardamom predominence. This is like an aquatic Ani. I love this fragrance!

men's perfume, melon flavoured soda, vanilla, and ozone. although everything seems mixed together, the resulting perfume is like a sweet sea scent that has been transformed into a beach-product-scented fragrance with added salt. not offensive summer scent.

Really really addictive fragrance. Constantly find myself smelling my hands and arms when I spray. The ambergris mixed with the sweet vanilla just works. This is a safe blind buy if you are either into vanilla or sea fragrances. Amazing.

This is really really good. Very rich and so smooth. Something about it is so intoxicating to me and it last forever on skin. With that said is it me or does this not spell my PDM's Layton in the dry down?? 🤔

Just Black Sea if you added vanilla and ylang ylang to it. Not too much of a difference but some may not like the vanilla. I like this, I can see why it’s the perfumer’s personal favorite.

The first time I smelled it i thought that it was not an aquatic perfume but I was wrong. It reminds me of the shoreline, it's grainy, salty but sweetened by vanille. Amazing.

A very cold and aquatic scent, a bit sweet and spicy, reminds me when you have a mint gum on your mouth and drink cold water. Its very unique.

With the second try and ON MY SKIN it's identical to Armani Bleu Turquoise. A 95% match imo. I pray that this isn't discontinued as well :/

Not as salty as Bleu Turquoise. Like a spicier, more vanillic version of it. Still enjoyable though

I bought this as I sampled Blue Turquoise and I fell in love with it instantly, it was probably the best summer profile that I have ever smelled, however the price kept me from buying a full bottle. This came across for a good price and I pulled the trigger. This is my first experience with Pazzaglia perfumes and I instantly understood the reviews highlighting the synthetic nature of these scents. Still, that does not mean that the composition would be bad at all. At first glance, you get the similarity with the Armani, but the differences are also imminent: there is waaaaay less salt and there is no incense - two notes that truly make the Armani for me. Yet there is a very pleasant sweet vanilla present with a very strong aquatic whiff - in this regard it catches the same beachy vibe of the Armani. I read below that it smells like an aquatic Layton - it is somewhat true imo, but there are no citruses in this, instead you get a lot of florals, which make this even sweeter than Layton. I am just about to get this full wears, but I would imagine this is something that gathers compliments, as it is sweet, lacks the challenging aspects of the Armani (again, the incense, and that oriental-somewhat animalic twist that I adore), and strong as hell. If you are looking for a sweet summer signature, this could do the trick, I think it is a nice yet synthetic blend.

Like the rest of this brand's perfumes, I loved it from an olfactory point of view but was a little disappointed from a performance point of view. Even so, I have to give it the highest score because, despite lasting on my skin quite short for it to be an extrait, it smells wonderfully and, the time it lasts on my skin, I can't stop smelling it. The aroma is simple but very pleasant. IT IS a fresh and very salty vanilla, one of these vanillas that are ideal for summer, very solar and bright, in the style of Teo Cabanel's ça boum, for example. The ambergris gives it a slightly animalic and balsamic touch that gives it its own character. The duration is approximately 5 hours on my skin, with a rather short projection. This is a perfume for personal enjoyment and short distances. It has a relaxing aroma, ideal for a summer afternoon walk. In this case it is not a perfume that I would buy since I have other similar things in my collection, but I recommend trying it to anyone looking for a different and ideal vanilla for summer; or a marine fragrance that does not have the typical aroma of ozone notes and algae

I really loved Black Sea from this house, and this feels like its more elusive, spellbound counterpart. It suggests an iridescent underworld where sirens move slowly through dim waters, their presence sensed rather than seen, their voices dissolving into the depths. The vanilla is strikingly airy, almost vaporous, never sweet or dominant. The salt, however, is unapologetically briny, anchoring the composition in something raw and marine. Gray ambergris rises clearly, adding a mineral, skin-like depth, while a shadowy dark-green note lingers beneath the surface; slightly bitter, and quietly unsettling. This interplay creates a constant pull between illumination and obscurity, as if the scent is forever suspended between surface light and abyssal darkness. It wears with ease, yet never feels ordinary; there’s an undercurrent of something unknowable here, a hushed strangeness that stays close to the skin and refuses to fully reveal itself. So, I knew Black Sea first, and Dream Sea basically feels like Black Sea went on vacation, had a few cocktails, and decided to chill out. It’s the same DNA, just dreamier and smoother. The salty, aquatic base is still there, but now it’s wrapped in vanilla cream and soft florals. I was low-key hoping this would be Pazzaglia’s answer to Armani’s Bleu Turquoise — that mineral zen, salty incense masterpiece — but nope. Dream Sea is way sweeter, more vanilla-forward, and not nearly as spiritual. Think less “meditating by the ocean,” more “dessert by the beach.” What’s fun about Lorenzo’s work is how he basically made a whole Sea universe. Start at Black Sea, the OG. Want more citrus? Sex-Sea. Want it cold and icy? Artik Sea. Want it soft, sweet, and vanilla-dreamy? Dream Sea. And if you think that’s not enough vanilla, well, there’s Van Sea waiting for you. Dream Sea is cozy, creamy, and has that salty sweetness that makes you sniff your wrist a little too ofter. Perfect for those who like their marine notes served with a dose of warmth and a hint of gourmand.

This is super aggressively vanilla dominant, from start to finish. I'm thrown off by the word "sea" in this one. It's pretty spicy/vanilla, and if no one told me aquatic, I wouldn't think it. I would put it in the same ballpark as 40 Knotts. I really don't get Bulgarian rose, a note I love, or really ambergris, or pepper, or most of the pyramid. Conversely, Artik Sea is a massive dose of ambroxan/ambergris, and smells like how you think an aquatic scent would smell. I like this... and I will probably buy a bottle, It's just not what I expected. Scent 8/10 Longevity 10/10 Projection 10/10

very nice marine cologne with an unexpected sweet note. i used to own the vanilla mint eos lip balm and there's a note that smells like that somewhere in here, which comes out more and more over time, at least on my skin. it's a very true-to-form masculine nautical cologne, and reminds me of the little cologne scent packet ads they used to have in magazines when i was little. no idea where the minty smell is coming from on me, since it's not listed in the notes, but i really appreciate the vanilla.

Ooohhh finalmente un marino di Lorenzo che mi piace! Un bel mix tra black sea note vanigliate. Non pensate ad un capolavoro oceanico ma forse questo è il bello di questo profumo perché non vuole esserlo.Il mare si sente comunque .un profumo da passeggiata ad Alassio!tutti vi diranno che profumo sia. 8/10 Performance incredibili.

I`m smelling this right after another marine scent - Pelagos by Dusita. Compared to Pelagos Dream Sea is created in big, abrupt, brush strokes like in expressionism while Pelagos is like impressionism painting. Dream sea is more sweet vanilla than sea, very sweet and expressive with definite salty aspects.

If Black Sea is not your thing, if Van Sea is too much vanilla and if you want something not as citrus as Sex Sea, then Dream Sea is for you. Wonderful scent to be honest, I picture myself just closing my eyes and being by the sea side, sipping a cocktail during sunset.

This threw me off when I first smelled it. It smelled like birthday cake. Sad. Then wore it in the middle of the summer, and the heat changed it into this sexy, spicy, oceanic fragrance. I prefer black sea over this or sex-sea. they're all nice though

Heavy pepper at first, then the aquatic notes come in. After a while it smells like outside to me, nature, forest.

The initial smell reminds me of nail polish. Slightly aquatic but more spicy.

Going from the cold chill of Artik Sea and into the sweeter and more enticing Dream Sea, this one feels like a shift in atmosphere. The brand paints it as sitting by the ocean on a spring night, watching the waves and taking in the air as it slowly warms up. It feels like a scent that is meant to evolve in that way, so the question becomes whether it adds a nice warmth or if the water gets a bit too hot. The opening of Dream Sea gives you a cool hit of marine notes and ozone along with a touch of spice from black and pink pepper. There is a slight cooling sensation at first, but at the same time you can already pick up a soft sweetness in the background. It feels like a hint of vanilla is there from the beginning, just not fully developed yet. It is an interesting combination and not your typical marine opening. After about thirty to forty five minutes, the vanilla, ylang ylang, rose, and white florals become more prominent. There is still a bit of that spice from the opening, but now it sits more in the background. At this point the scent is becoming more rich and sweet, moving away from that fresh ocean feel into something fuller, tip toeing into gourmand territory. Around the two to three hour mark, it settles into a salty oceanic vanilla with some woods and a noticeable leafy green touch. This is where it feels the most complete. The sweetness is still there but now it is mixed with a musky marine depth. If you have tried Black Sea, this will feel somewhat familiar but less salty and more focused on a smooth vanilla sweetness. I can also see why people compare it to Layton. Both have a fresh opening and a sweeter drydown, but this one does not have quite as much of that sharp menthol type opening that some people get from Layton. Dream Sea leans a but more into a softer vanilla early on, with the saltiness building later in the drydown. This is a really interesting fragrance. It smells good and I can appreciate what it is going for, but it is not something I see myself reaching for over other marine scents. If I want something oceanic I would probably go in a different direction, and the same goes if I am looking for a sweeter vanilla. The main thing that holds it back for me is some kind of leafy green note in the later drydown. It just does not sit quite right on my skin and throws the balance off a bit. That said, if a salty marine vanilla with a musky edge sounds appealing, this is definitely worth sampling. It is a unique take on a familiar sea style and could work better depending on your skin. For me it is more of an interesting wear than a go to, but not a bad fragrance by any means.

Opens up in an aggressive pepper and spices note. With some time the vanilla takes over, very creamy and playing nicely with the spices. The marine notes are completely lost, the play between them and the spices results only in a sharp and chemical feel. The result is not bad, but not great either. More of a sharp and weird vanilla than anything else.

Doesn’t read as aquatic to me. It’s sweet. If you like the other notes you’d probably like it. Kinda reminds me of Versace Eros.

This is powerful stuff. Too powerful imo. I made the mistake to put 3 spray the first time i wore it and i took the bus right after right (during traffic) and i was ashamed of how strong i smelled. It stayed liked that for hours until i was sick of it and took a shower and it was still too strong. It's a shame because it smell so good. Now when i wear it i spray 1 time and i do it outside because the smell can stay a whole week in the house. Very nice salty vanilla smell tho i would wear it everyday if it wasnt that powerful.

Another primitive fragrance from a mediocre brand. The scent of beach lotion, no matter what fancy names people come up with in the comments, definitely doesn't deserve this price. It's a typical summer body spray scent— and it fades rather quickly. Anyone who smells it for 12 hours is probably just wishful thinking!

Loved this when I first purchased, but stopped wearing it over time b/c of the ambergris note, adds a very nauseating and unpleasant aspect to this. This reminds me of sauvage eau forte in the way that its a salty vanilla freshie, with some aquatics. This is very unique and well crafted.

Smelled more masculine to me. Aquatic and peppery. But also smelled slightly medicinal.

Lots of nasty modern synthetic acrid musk (or amber, or whatever) in the vein of Xerjoff or Tiziana Terenzi. Very angular, crudely done. Of course, Bleu Turquoise is on a whole other level, much more refined and elegant. Although they are close, it's like a teenage crooked version of Armani.

I wore this Friday and couldn't stand myself the entire day. This is herbaceous, vanillc and aquatic. A mess to my nose. It seems as though its trying to go the Christian Provenzano route in the way he composes his aquatics but needless to say it misses the mark by a mile.

The peppery aquatic vanilla of Armani Turquoise Bleu , with some cool and creamy Ylang+Sandalwood roundness, and the last part that draws me to this scent is about is the earthy milky sweetness that I like about MoV Patchouli Indonesia - I find it in here. This is they type of sweetness here, with a sharper aquatic side and greenness, where AP TB is more vanillic (dusy) and peppery. If AP TB must be represented by the color turquoise, Dream Sea is milky aquamarine. I can’t make up my mind yet on how suitable Dream Sea is for someone, who enjoys her unisex scents to stay away from barbershop vibes (barbershop musks, fern and lavender fugeres, masculine patchouli thrown among feminine notes , etc...). I like my perfume fluid within the unisex-feminine spectrum, and the rest I like on my husband. And I need to do some comparative work on this one, as I clearly enjoy its milky-salty profile. If I’m to get this one - it’s an open door for indulging a kick and adding to this shelf also Kilian White Cristal, l’Heure Vert and Indigo Tanzanite (I adore those on me, before the masculine vibes get amped up on me). MoV Patchouli Indonesia is the safest, sweetest, most neutral in terms of not leaning masculine and I own it already, which gives me some buffer time to consider its more complex alternative I found here. In terms of neutrality this soft, misty and hazy “sea” seems to qualify amongst the rest to be next. Especially if you find appealing the combination of Ouzo’s sweetness + cucumbers freshness, carried by the salty Mediterranean breeze. Provided, my not-so-passionate relationship with aquatics in general, still couldn’t get in the way of liking at least 2 of LP aquatics so far!

Very good Sea collection made Pazzaglia. Recommend to test all his Sea fragrances. But recommend to test it on skin. There is not so much aquatic notes, as you can think. It's not like Megamare, but in such direction. I think it's underrated fragrances of this designer. Black sea - the most iconic in his collection and first fragrance you need to taste. It's the central star of Sea line. Arctic sea it's more cold variation. Dream sea it's more sweet variation. White floral, rose, peppery vanilla scent. Sex sea it's a more sharp, peppery, mossy variation Van Sea it's a combination black+arctic sea+ vanilla. More green, sweet vanilla variation. Recommend to buy all Sea samples to test. It's, i think, great perfumes. Underrated. It's impossible to choose one of them. Every variation it's unique, independent. Recommend to test.

a disappointment. the vanilla smells so cheap. it smells very sweet as well, it gives off cheap generic supermarket body spray with the cheap vanilla they used. while it does not smell bad, it is not anything i would want to smell like or smell on myself through the day. it is so sweet and cloying it is nauseating, and i am usually very into gourmands and vanillas. it also smells flat with no distinction between the notes. i wish there was a ocean at night scent that includes vanilla wafting around. the description was perfect for what i was looking for. but it was a huge let down with how boring, cheap and overly sweet it smelled. please just use a better quality vanilla it would elevate this so much more

I’m usually not a fan of aquatic/ozonic notes, but I like this one a lot on skin (not on paper or from the nozzle!). It reminds me of a Finnish sauna and the scent is quite calming. It’s fresh, peppery, slightly sweet, slightly creamy and somehow a bit minty. I thankfully don’t perceive the ylang ylang (absolutely dislike that note). I’m surprised that I actually can’t stop sniffing my arm because it’s not the scent profile I normally gravitate towards. Will test it some more because it might lean a bit too masculine for me. Color of the bottle matches the scent (green-blue).

A blissful fragrance, I get a lot of flowery vanilla notes straight from the start, with some spicy undertones, however the test scenario is not yet complete as it needs to be tested in higher temperatures (+25°C). I am pretty sure that the spicy-salty vibe will be more proeminent in the summer. Also I have tried the other 2 aswell - Black Sea is salty note in your face which settles down to an aquatic and Sex/Sea is well balanced with the salty note not as proeminent. Very nice all three anyway, I‘d blindly use any of these in a hot summer day.

Un marino dolce, soave, non invadente (lo dico da amante di Megamare). Indossabilissimo, ha un che di balsamico che lo rende davvero piacevole. Adoro i Pazzaglia, tra i marini però il mio preferito è Black Sea, più profondo e oscuro. Prestazioni all'altezza di tutti i Pazzaglia, forse sulla mia pelle si perde un pochino di più ma dura tranquillamente 5 o 6 ore con una scia più che buona. Molto complimentato e non banale quindi spesso vi chiederanno cosa indossare.

In the beginning you smell fresh vanilla then after dry down its become 90% megamare with vanilla .. and i am not meganare fans because of fishy smell .. but the sillage and longevity its incredible one spray on my hand last for 2 hrs like i am just spray it .. i wash may hand directly when i back home because of megamare DNA and believe me you need to wash hard to remove the smell

This particular niche fragrance is for high standard individuals who desire smelling unique along with strong silage and remarkable longevity. In regards with the dna scent, it can easily described as ambegris vanilla, this what actually remains after the top as well as the middle notes.

ridiculously strong fragrance. very creamy vanilla and aquatic smelling fragrance. opening is horrible and i just cant get myself to want to wear this. somewhat has a similar dna to layton but dont expect it to be close to layton, i love my layton but not this.

This is literally PdM Layton in a LP Dream Sea bottle...an absolute 1:1. If you own Layton, as I do, don't even bother with this one as there is undoubtedly a redundancy factor. It's ok, not nearly the best of Sea lineup as far as I'm concerned.

I'm smelling something like candy sweet that's not very attractive to my nose. Not an ingredient expert to figure what that is. As for reaction of people around me Yes,it gave me few "Dude,what's that nice smelling?" but not for me.

I do feel quite a prominent menthol note in this one. Maybe it's the mix of green notes and pepper. Not sure why its not listed in the notes. It's really beautiful and unique. Definitely a must have for summer imo.

really enjoying this, mostly vanillic and sea notes on me, would be interesting to see how it performs in different seasons but i have a feeling it might be one of those perfumes you can wear all year round 👍🏻

Definitely is an aquatic version of Layton, just in the opening though do they have similarities, this is very unique but I would also say mass appealing and blind buy safe (I did and don’t regret it)
