This is an odd fragrance for me, or rather it's odd as to why I am mutually attracted to and repulsed by this fragrance. I'm old enough to have worn enough fragrances to know when one isn’t just a scent, but a memory trap. Gasoleather isn’t trying to be pretty, and thank God for that. It’s unapologetically masculine in that opening raw, oily, and smoky note; but somehow still tender in its own way. Like a man who works with his hands but listens closely when you speak - think any character portrayed by Nick Offerman. There’s a note in it like burnt rubber, leather left out in the Mojave desert sun, maybe even a whisper of something sweet and animalic underneath that reminds me of the first time I snuck into a leather bar in the late '90s. I was terrified, thrilled, and surrounded by the smell of sweat, gear, and possibility. Gasoleather smells like that for me. It's dangerous, familiar, and strangely comforting. Paradoxically it's lingering, cloying, and repulsive. It's defiant, nostalgic, and sexy in a greasy working-man way. Not trying to prove anything. It's just present while being unpresentable. Just real while being surreal. It doesn’t flirt. It lingers and stays.

Gasoleather is a fragrance that may initially seem harsh and strong, but that's absolutely not. Leather and gasoline are the main notes, becoming in this creation as incredibly elegant. An unusual aroma, namely gasoline, is non-intrusive and slightly oily, accompanying refined leathery notes that are wonderful for lovers of fragrances featuring this note, of which I am one. Over time, it softens significantly on the skin, enveloping it as a refined and delicate suede. In short, I see the allure of luxury in it; after all, isn't a beautiful sports car, which also expresses all its power, incredibly magnetic? If you want to stand out... this is the right fragrance. I really liked it and immediately made it my own. Well... this time not a painting, but the incredible beauty of an Italian luxury car, a symbol of creativity and extreme class: the Ferrari.

Altro capolavoro di Lorenzo Pazzaglia che ormai è un orgoglio della profumeria italiana, profumo molto invernale dalla scia atomica come tutte le sue creazioni ma ben bilanciato nonostante qui abbia voluto giocare con l abbinamento di due odori Forti come benzina e cuoio è riuscito l ennesima volta a sorprendere tutti anche perché si sente la qualità delle materie prime usate per questo profumo che a primo impatto sembra maschile però piano piano ti accorgi che può stare bene anche su una donna....Che aggiungere piu' lorenzo ha fatto di nuovo centro con un profumo che si distingue dalla massa per me voto 10 ma sta volta con lode....

I love it. Reminds me of Noir Anthracite and Ombré Leather somewhat. Some mediocre sweet raspberry. Recommend it. Not an obnoxious gasoline or synthetic negative energy bottle. Lovely and invigorating. There is a lingering synthetic petroleum drydown that is very pleasant.

I love it, when I come across a unique scent every once in a while. Longevity and sillage both match the price tag of 220 Eur per 75ml, so let's take a look at the scent. Based on other reviews, I was little scared and ready to wash the scent off if the worst happened, but... not even close. It's not a scent that would be unusable in office spaces, I can even imagine it as a signature scent for almost daily wear. It's bold, it's fresh in the sense of the word untried or uncommon, it's unique and very complex. It's not overcombined and I like it. It starts right away with 100% spiciness and a dark green color that immediately transitions through scarlet-violet to brown-black. Dense sweet raspberry, blueberries, pink elderflower, very fine marzipan, black leather almost hidden in the background. Then it breaks into furniture polish and everything is covered by a metal curtain, a sharper almost toxic tin mist. I have to look for gasoline and diesel, but I will find it. I would change only one thing for myself....take off 50 Euros on FB to buy it right away. Update: Smells much more nice on clothes than skin during drydown...dark spicy forest metallic.

Something about this reminds me of the smell of the pharmacy we went to when I was around 5 years old. It also smells a lot like the barbershop, in an Extremely classy way. This feels very nostalgic but also modern and unique, especially with the intense opening. Sorta also reminds me of the smell of a sharpie in the best way. This fragrance is genderless to me. I would love a full bottle of this.

recently spilled gas all over my jeans at the pump and had to drive for an hour afterwards and this is pretty much what i smelled like when i got home. i love this but i will likely never wear it anywhere, if you dont like the way the tire section of walmart smells this isnt for you and i dont particularly want to inflict it on anyone who that doesn't apply to

This stuff lasts LONG. got a sample for my boyfriend because he likes the smell of gasoline. I hate the smell of it but I rated positively because I respect the longevity of it. He applied a single swipe to his wrist and I was still smelling it on him 6 hrs later. The gasoline top note specifically.

Mostly getting sweet gasoline notes from this, and maybe some white floral? But not bad at all. This is one I want to train my nose for more, because in theory I should really enjoy all the layered amber and woody notes.

Open up sweet, raspberry, in a slightly petrol direction, the frangipani forward, ylang-ylang bias is definitely noticeable later on, but then drying down a slightly fruity but petrol sensation arises—a little resinous as well, but not a lot, all enveloped in a modest musk. These facets are here to stay, and though I do like the petrol facet that it somehow maintains—I suspect its coming from the castoreum or vetiver, though it could be coming from the woods/resins (more likely) . Though very faint, the vanilla does show, but it’s not something prominent. Although this frag doesn’t really fit in line with my preferences, it’s definitely a “Tom Ford” approach to gasoline, where it starts off with the signature raspberry note, a loud intro to the general story of the fragrance, followed by an elegant version of the intro (though the petrol note is quite prominent in the drydown, just less so than the intro), while keeping the overall picture of the frag consistent. Again, nicely done frag, but not something I personally would buy a FB of. Above average performance. Disappointingly, no leather traces in this frag.

It’s complex and interesting. I do like it, but the gasoline acord is just no good. It becomes kind of annoying in the dry down.

Honestly, I hate to say I think it's very disappointing. I think its problem is it's trying to ride the line between niche and mainstream too much. I wish it could have picked edgy or palatable and stuck with it. I was looking for more dark, grungy perfumes to add to my mostly light and sweet collection, and this instantly jumped out at me with that name. The notes look a bit confused but gasoline, leather, smoke, metal and plastic are exactly the kind of weird I was after. I was really looking forward to trying this! Unfortunately it really doesn't hit like I wanted it to. The smoke and gasoline are really only present in the background before the dry down, then they completely disappear. Which is annoying to me, since the raspberry alongside them in the top notes stays for the dry down. When fresh it's mostly sour raspberry and leather, with a smoky gasoline edge. You get a bit of the woods in this stage too. To me it gets worse in the dry down... the leather becomes more prominent, but it also takes on a strong medicinal quality. Some weird halfway mark between disinfectant in a doctor's office and strange herbal remedies from an essential oils enthusiast. It retains the sour raspberry note in this stage too, which smells really confused against this medicinal quality. It's never a good sign when I wear a perfume out, and pull a sour face whenever I can smell it on myself. Weirdly bitter like tea that's too strong here. After many hours of wear it does lose its medicinal quality and turn into a nice savoury sage-y leather, but is this really an upside when there are many cheaper perfumes that smell like that right off the bat? The metal and plastic notes are nowhere to be found to my nose, which I'm sad about because they were huge selling points to me. I don't get benzoin or resin at all from this, which are notes I usually really like. Pine and cedar are also ones I usually like, and they seem to be kind of there as a ghost. I don't get any floral or citrus from it, it seems these brighter notes are clashing with the darker more savoury notes to create that doctor's office smell... Longevity and silage are fine, but honestly I've had cheaper perfumes do better. I think this could really benefit from being simplified. There are too many contradictory notes crowding it, all clamouring for attention. I definitely want the grungy edgy notes to come to the forefront. It does a great disservice to a product when it's trying to appear to be edgy and unique when it mostly conforms to set conventions. People who bought this wanting a simple standard perfume will be put off by the weird edge, and people who bought this wanting something strange and exciting will be disappointed that the weirdness they're looking for is only there in spirit. This needs to go nicher.

Gasoleather by Lorenzo Pazzaglia should’ve been a monster—dirty leather soaked in gasoline, unapologetically rough and raw. Instead, it’s a letdown. The opening smells less like gas and smoke and more like a chemical plant someone half-heartedly cleaned with raspberry-scented air freshener. The smoky, oily promise is there for a fleeting moment, but it vanishes almost instantly. What’s left? That cloying, artificial raspberry clings on like a bad stain, dragging the whole thing down. By the dry down, the leather finally shows up, but it’s got this sharp, plasticky, chemical edge that feels more cheap than dangerous. The whole composition is overcrowded, with too many notes screaming over each other instead of delivering the filthy, grungy vibe the name teases. Honestly, ditch the raspberry entirely and you might have something worth wearing—let the gas, smoke, and leather run wild. As it stands, Gasoleather is a confused, synthetic mess. Great name, disappointing follow-through.

Wear i live this is already available at my mall. I was very much hoping for that 1980s farenheight with gas/petrol and leather. Definitely get the Cypriol, Bergamot, alot of Oakmoss, in my opinion this missed the leather and gas vibe that could have made this a sexual beast. This is my 2nd from this house..and a miss

Opens fairly harsh and smells just like the name implies. Eventually loses the gas scent and is a simple leather and white floral fragrance.

I really wanted to love this, and the first sniff from a cardboard strip was so exciting - a real whack you in the face sort of experience. I thought, well I have to try it on my skin now. I sprayed my hand, wafted it around and upon smelling it on my skin I genuinely and sincerely recoiled in horror. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I was immediately transported back to my childhood home, in the garage, the smell of rusting drawers full of rusting tools...sharp synthetic tang from the cleaning products and painstripper stored on top. It made me deeply, deeply uncomfortable, almost scared. I have never experienced such a jolt of disgust at a fragrance on my skin. It was like I had gone elbow deep into the exhaust of some old van. Even Secretions Magnifique wasn't quite so immediately grotesque. Maybe unresolved trauma, or perhaps my nose isn't quite there yet, but like SM, it will be a fun addition to my collection of oddities and experiences. I cannot think of a single occasion to wear it, at all, other than maybe alone, in a sealed room?

So this took me straight back to my uncles house with him working on his Harley Davidson engine in the living room. The huge smell of biker oils, grease, leathers and old fags in the ash tray. I’ve honestly never smelled a scene so accurately captured. If this is the scent profile you’re after it’s 100% there!

I think @kikirachael described this one best. If you want to smell like you work on motorcycles and just came from your shop but your dressed in a very strongly scented leather jacket, I guess this is for you. That's definitely not a scent I find myself needing, so this one is definitely a pass
