Green Island

Just received this gem today and I must say, it's a very pleasant scent. I do agree with most reviews as to the substandard performance in comparison to most LP fragrances. That being said...not every fragrance is meant to be "beast mode" and although compliments are always welcomed, that's not always the goal. Me personally, I wear what I want for me first and foremost. I get a sense of well being and refreshed state of mind when I finally decide on my scent of the day. If you're looking for a summer scent that is a little different than the norm but checks all the boxes, aside from "beast mode" then don't be dissuaded from pulling the trigger on this one. Green Island doesn't remind me of any particular fragrance I've smelled before but it does, in a good way, remind me of a stick of Doublemint chewing gum.

Love this fragrance, easy to wear but with some deepness. Pleasant, herbal and aromatique with some soft sea vibes. A perfect summer fragrance with medium performace. I don't like to smell super-ninche in summer, I prefer well blended freshies with an authentic and original aura, that's what i've found here.

smells amazing, pretty good spring and summer scent. the only thing that bothers me, that it has no longevity or projection, and for this price, you could get much better frags.

Green Island feels like a memory captured in a scent, the kind of summer you never forget. For Lorenzo Pazzaglia, Ischia, Italy was more than just a place to visit. It was where time seemed to slow down and every moment with his father running barefoot on the shore or laughing in the sunny alleys felt endless. Years later Marco, who loves the island just as much, helped turn that feeling into something lasting. Together they created Green Island to hold onto a fragment of that happiness forever. When you first spray it you notice a lot at once. Bright yuzu and mandarin give it a lively citrus start while wormwood adds a slight bitterness. Ginger and cardamom come through softly to round it out. After about half an hour the scent shifts. Gin adds a subtle sourness, prickly pear and caper flower bring a fresh aquatic touch and red tea gives it a light earthiness. After an hour soft florals like myrtle and lotus start to appear and it eventually dries down to patchouli, oak, vetiver and pine. Green Island is green, herbal, and summery. It mixes citrus, tea, and florals with a bitter herbal twist that makes it feel unique. If you’ve tried some of the Louis Vuitton summer lineup and found them underwhelming this might be for you. It has the brightness of citrus, the freshness of tea, and the softness of florals all combined, but with that bitter herbal Lorenzo Pazzaglia edge. It feels like all of their summer fragrances smashed into one with more personality. Performance is moderate on my skin, lasting about three to four hours before it sits closer to the skin. That is a bit less than I usually get from Lorenzo Pazzaglia but still respectable for a casual summer scent. Green Island is green and herbal but also sweet and uplifting with a soft aquatic freshness. It is bright without being sharp, refreshing without being simple, and it feels like a fragrance that tells a story and keeps a moment in time alive. PS - The reviews for gender, price, performance, love, and hate seem all over the place, so here’s what I think. It is unisex, the value is moderate, longevity and sillage are okay, the price is fair, and I like it.

The best perfume in their collection, reminds me of Killian ginger dash

It's useless, I can't get over Paco's fragrances. We argued once on the phone, but that goes beyond the fact that they all seem like a jumble of meaningless notes to me. It seems like he's competing to see how many he can add, and you realize you never know which direction he's going... it's all just thrown together by chance... and as I've already written, the result is a one million that costs three times as much. Art? Niche? No, I don't even see it in the bottle. The immense quantity of oils delivers, as always, super performances, but they all seem like Paco Rabanne flankers to my nose. 0/10 I've been to Ischia twice, and if it smells like this, I don't think it could be the gem it is.

Sweet and cloying hard pass sorry

Good scent. A different green. A much more playful, flirty, laid back green than something like Green Irish Tweed or even Greenley. Much less grassy and "verdant" than GIT and much less fruity/green apple than Greenley. This is more of a sappy, coniferous but also minty type of green, and it doesnt have much of that bitter, stemmy, vegetal thing that can happen with some greens. To my nose this bears a slight resemblance to the original ADP Colonia Club, with Green Island having a sweeter mint. That said, I view this as being for a particular type of "green lover". This is like the green version of Sex Sea...playful, grown but not geriatric, a little sweet, but you wouldnt immediately think sweet.. its more of an implied sweetness. Either way this is around an 8 / 10 for me. If I were a green fragrance fanatic, this would probably be an easy 9 though.

I really want to love the Lorenzo Paggalia range as i love a perfume where the notes are turned up and sparkle and they last eternity . I have tried most of the house and in my opinion they are not particularly great . Sorry but Green Island opens beautifully and i am thinking this could be a no.1 green scent .. all the notes are loud and clear and it sings but it all disappears so fast and although the grapefruit is still there the green notes are subdued and it just becomes a pleasant mid low volume generic grapefruit with a subtle touch of green . And longevity . These are mostly all 4 hours on me and im ready to change fragrance , maybe due to having old skin. I really like Sungria, and I want to try Speachless the rest for me are more interesting than they are good.

It is a summery green and fruity composition. The opening is very refreshing, with clearly defined notes of grapefruit, ginger and juniper. This is followed by an aromatic gin accord with fresh lime, green tea and myrtle, giving the fragrance real holiday feel. The base has a woody amber character, with a clear pine note that is particularly pleasant. For a moment, I thought I had found the perfect summer scent, unfortunately, after around an hour it becomes barely noticeable on the skin. Given this level of longevity, I’m unlikely to purchase a full bottle, which is a shame, as the scent itself is truly beautiful.

The "internet" has fried the brains of billions of people. I can't go on a website that touts SCENTED WATER without some kind of hive mind bullshit. Scented fucking water and it seems to be in some kind of OUTRAGE thing with this particular brand of scented water. Fucking losers. There isn't an original thought left. Bunch of BIRDBRAINS trolling scented water.

Sampled and at first sniff i thought wow, i think il have to buy this.... til about 30 mins later and i could barely smell it. Im shocked as his frags usually last quite a long time. Disappointing. Definitely not worth the price.

Myrtillajus has been inhaling perfume fumes. I love this scent it reminds me of Kenzo mixed with quality
