Pax

I thought the P was for the Pear and passion fruit, A for Amber and the X for unisex but no, after wearing this again i realized it stands for something else, Pure Amazing XTC (ecstasy) , because that is what this fragrance invokes in me! No i am not saying this has MDMA in it just like neither does any of Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances, but they have MDMA as a note and i believe it is not only because one of the chemicals in those fragrances can be turned in to it but rather that the fragrance invokes that energetic feeling without the use or need of narcotics. So this has been compared to Erba Pura which i don't have but i do have another it is compared to which is Don't Ask Me Permission and i love the smell of both. How i would separate the 2 is that this is truly a unisex fragrance with a slight lean more to a masculine side, while Don't Ask Me Permission leans way more feminine especially because of the peach note. One more i could compare to is Pacific Park but again that is more feminine. When i smelled Don't Ask Me Permission i fell in love with that scent, but i don't have a girlfriend that i could give it to, to wear. If i did i would without a doubt, because i would love to smell that on a girl, i really would. When i found PAX not that long after testing Don't Ask Me Permission with it's leather and wood notes in the base and no peach note, i thought this may be a more masculine version that i could pull off, the wait for this to arrive from Italy took ages and i was so excited and wondering if this would be the magic unisex or masculine version of Don't Ask Me Permision i had just fell in love with but had nobody that i could give it to smell it on them so when PAX arrived and i was correct, of course i was just over the moon! This is one of these white musk, fruity kind of fragrances that i can wear with ease and the thing i also love about it is that it is very long lasting and projects really well. This is something i always look for in a fragrance. It would be good especially for summer temperatures where most others would struggle in the high heat, while PAX absolutely thrives! From what i have read this is a much better performing Erba Pura, and it comes in Extrait De Parfum concentration so that will be why. If you have tried Lorenzo's latest summer fragrance which was the highly hyped Summer Hammer then when you go through all the stages and get to the last stage that sticks with you for the rest of its longevity then that is close to what you are going to get with PAX, they are not exactly the same but close enough that you can layer PAX on top of Summer Hammer when it gets to that stage. Summer Hammer has more stages than PAX but its projection power wavers between the different stages and by the time you get to the stage that relates to PAX it becomes pretty much a skin scent and is the perfect time to then spray PAX on for the rest of the day boosting all the lovely, sweet juicy notes. You only need a few sprays of this and if I smelled this on someone else and didn't know what it was i would have to ask them what it is and where to get it and in the UK people are not as forward coming as in other countries so when people compliment you or feel the need to ask something like that then you know you have something special. Honestly, when i smell this i just get this immense feeling of joy and almost on the verge of ecstasy. Like an other reviewer said, this fragrance just has this sweet juicy energetic feel to it that will definitely have you in a good mood ready to go out and enjoy the summer weather. If you like fruity fragrances like i do i can promise you this will be the one that gives you that oomph feeling and you won't feel like you do with some fragrances where you can feel like something is missing to give it that spark. This is complete and ready to go. I wish i wrote this earlier in the summer but hey, people in the lower hemisphere will be coming in to summer soon so maybe this is one you should be picking up in preparation for your summer parties and night outs. Not only that i couldn't find the words to describe it in all honesty until i wore it again today and i just had to try let other people know just how great this fragrance really is. SCORES Scent 10/10 Just gorgeous! Longevity 10/10 Eternal - This will last all day long in the heat with no loss in projection. Projection 10/10 Everyone is going to be smelling this on you! Bottle 7/10 This is its only downfall imo, the atomizer is plastic, and the bottle is a bit boring imo. (It's the juice that counts though, right?) Price OK, this is roughly £130 per 50ml but you are getting an Eternal, long lasting, high projecting amazing scent that doesn't need many sprays, and it is Extrait concentration so to me this gets the rating of Good Value!

Magical fragrance capable of evoking positive and joyful memories in me. An energetic and sparkling cocktail of fruits that dance around a flowery heart and a woody / leather base. At the beginning we find the passion fruit, the pear (which in this perfume I sincerely adore), which marry well with a flowery / incensed heart (attention, distant incense is not a clerical incense) which together with jasmine, magnolia and currant make it a real beating heart of this perfume. To close the immense and lasting drydown of this fragrance is a woody / leather base that well support all the wonderful structure of this perfume. I am not a lover of fruity perfumes but here I had to change my mind absolutely to the point of having immediately bought a bottle of it all for myself that especially in this beautiful period I enjoy wearing and envelops me with its magical fruity, fresh, juicy scents , wonderful and flowery. A beautiful fragrance with a wise use of raw materials by Lorenzo with absolute and high quality materials as well as, being an Extrai De Parfum, in very high concentrations. Honestly, I love it and I will never be able to do without it again. Absolutely recommended for all lovers of fresh, fruity, flowery notes. To really wear on any occasion you want. As a guy I wear this for myself and not other people. I wouldn't call this a possible signature scent but damn it makes me happy when I wear it. When you smell the atomizer it smells stuffy/musky (not nearly as Kirke does), but on skin it's pure joy. I might stick to my 5ml decant but if I start wearing it more often, I might buy larger bottle. Also, this doesn't work in hot weather - go instead for Summer Hammer. Pax > Erba Pura > Kirke Erba Pura is like a bright fruit salad and more feminine. Kirke is ok but obviously lower quality and reminds me of a stuffy room due to aggressive musk. Pax is more unisex (although this fruity scent profile is generally feminine), wearable and overall the best option.

I recived a full bottle based on what i have sampled before. The thing was with this new bottle that the scent wasnt at all like Pax from discovery box. It didn't have almost any scent. And in addition to that even that funny scent was gone after 1-2 hours. I tried aging 2-3 times and it was the same so i decided to let lay for a while and try it again after almost 1-1,5 months. The scent is there (not still in full) and longlivety isnt still like it supose to be for elixir. maybe 3-4 hours on my wrist. I belive it is a new batch and needs to macerate for a bit longer, so i will try to aply it again in about a month period.

Smells realy nice...for me, on my skin smells more musculine. I am getting a bit of Sauvage DNA in the background but top citrusy notes give it that refreshing vibe. It can be all year perfume...aura is hugh and longevity is to be tested. My fav along side Black Sea from Lorenzo!!! EDIT; Longevity is enormuos...almost whole day...on shirt it still smells the next day. Yestrday at 5 in the afternoon in the store a women passed by me and said "...something smells realy nice here...."

This is exactly what I want from a fruity scent!! Juicy with a smooth base and some airy florals. Lorenzo Pazzaglia knows how to have fun. It does remind me of an “elevated” version of my favorite VS body mists from middle school - same delightful feeling from wearing it but there’s a little more oomph, a little more artistry going on under the surface 🍒🍇🍏 feels like a splash of yumminess and a kaleidoscope of bright colors

I was looking for a summer night out fragrance for months and i think i finally found what i was looking for. Smooth fruits, energizing, playful fragrance. You can wear this year around at any time but i think it suits best for nights. I would wear this on a night out when going to a bar or a club. Fills up the whole room with only 1-2 sprays but it's not cloying at all. Musk gives it a smoothness. Overall 10/10

If Erba Pura and BR540 had a baby, and that baby was born with the proverbial 'silver spoon in its mouth' (no BR540 harshness), they would name him/her, PAX. Beastly strong fragrance. Even after a shower it was still singing fairly loudly. High quality, cool bottle, worth every penny.

I like this! That being said, this is one of the few fragrances where I can't pick out notes very well. I see a bunch of fruits listed but I only smell a little citrus. Perfectly unisex, not sweet. Imagine showering with a luxurious, expensive, herbal soap in an outdoor shower and then stepping directly into a meadow right before springtime. The dry down is heavenly. Muted white floral, leans slightly masculine. Evil Angel is still my favorite from this house 😊

"Ahh what a nice smelling shampoo!" Is what comes to mind when I wore this. Don't get me wrong, I do like it & find it quite pleasant but it doesn't strike me. It doesn't feel like a powerful fruity frag as advertised but rather a subtle freshly shampooed head of hair. Also feel it leans more on the feminine side than for the geezers but hey, it's alright!

at first glance it's xerjoff erba pura. but it's much more expensive... the drying is what distinguishes it from it. if you have erba purad then this is unnecessary.

yeap, some alter ego of erba pura. same level of synthentic-ness and incredible performance, might be better than the actual erba pura but hey, both works. 7/10

I came here because I love Passionfruit fragrances (not enough fragrances mix passionfruit + black pepper) and this one was disappointing. Smells like a fruity incense I would smell as I passed by macumba stores in Brazil. Very relaxing and clean, like artisanal soaps, it doesn't smell bad, I just don't want to smell like it. Highly recommend if you wanna smell like an unlit fruity incense!

If it weren’t for the damn cardamom, it would be perfect.

Almost the same as Amber Oud Gold Edition

There is something about this that evokes a medicinal, almost bitter or astringent scent and I can't pinpoint what it is. Is it the leather-fruit or the incense-fruit combination? Is it the oud at the base? The scent reminds me of a particular antibiotic syrup we were given as children which came in a powder form and had to be diluted in water; it was medicinal-bitter and sweet at the same time, which was a horrible combo. The fragrance is by no means horrible, but this scent I pick up on smells almost exactly the way that tasted for me and it makes the overall experience not enjoyable. Thankful I got a sample of it, because I wouldn't be able to actually wear this. Edit: About 4 and a half - 5 hours in and when the overt fruitiness dissipates, the dry-down is much more pleasant.
