Sugar Kisses

Oh my... Got a sample of this and what a wonderful scent. Opens as a rich photorealistic warm caramel butter. the depth of the smell is incredible it has a lot of nuance as it develops. Looking at the perfume pyramid it could be hard to imagine the DNA of this scent as there is so much in this but to my nose this is a sweet chocolatey cocoa butter with a bitter booziness that cuts through the sugar resulting in a sensual, warm, adult gourmand. With all that's going on here the fragrance isn't overwhelming, I have found it hard to gauge the performance as in moments it seems to have disappeared but then moments later I catch the smell of it strongly. I see reviews comparing this to Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion, I grew up with that lotion and it is true once this fully dries down there's proximity but this is richer and perhaps darker. It's similarity certainly doesn't make this less worth the price as I've seen suggested. I also think this smell is super unisex. The fantasy/story/inspiration written by the brand is interesting to me for anyone who hasn't put their nose on this as it might create an expectation of a jovial, simplistic fragrance but it is not that! I wouldn't describe this as sugary either! There is an essence of burnt sugar but it isn't sugary in a fluffy narrow sense. This is rich, refined and sophisticated! Definitely on my to purchase list now. Highly recommend getting your nose on this if you want a less typical gourmand!! (later update: I did buy a full bottle and all of my thoughts hold true - definitely a perfume to spray sparingly as it can overwhelm with more than 3-4 sprays so do handle with care but for the price I want that saturation of smell that this offers!)

Sugar Kisses by Lorenzo Pazzaglia is a powerhouse of a gourmand, perfect for those with an insatiable sweet tooth! So sick'ningly sweet, it might just rot your teeth. I can absolutely see how some might say this teeters on cloying. Being pure extrait, Sugar Kisses boasts a powerful projection and impressive staying power, with no chemical blast or synthetic afterscent whatsoever. Upon first spray, immediately you're greeted with chewy toffee and powdery heliotrope, held together by cacao butter. Fragrant frangipani and coconut milk meet your nose as well, and stay ever present throughout the entirety of this perfume-giving it a Summery charm. After a few minutes, Sugar Kisses hugs you with it's decadent base of rich chocolate, chopped hazlenuts, vanilla bean, and sticky dates. Given even more time to settle, she kisses you with burnt sugar, a surprising splash of rum, and a light dusting of white musk. Sugar Kisses is unique in that I find it hits every single one of it's (extensive) listed notes! There is also something very nostalgic about this scent.. Perhaps the frangipani calls us back the 90's? Or maybe, the hazelnut chocolate harkens to the 80's launch of Ferrero Rocher? Regardless, Sugar Kisses conjures up the image of a cool older sister figure. An It-girl with a belly button ring and sparkling eyelids. There is nothing subtle about her, Sugar Kisses proudly turns heads. Ferociously feminine, she is trashy and tasty in the best way possible. So I begrudgingly say, this one's worth the steep price tag. For the girls and the gays looking for a Hot Girl Summer scent, Sugar Kisses gets my praise!

They might as well have added whipped cream in Sugar Kisses, since it has all the gourmand notes lol. Vanilla, chocolate, caramel, toffee, brown/sugar, coconut, milk, butter (cacao), and nutty notes. Anyways, this smells like milky chocolate, brown sugar, and cocoa butter oil mixed together. A slight coconut essence but more of a coconut oil with no prominent nuttiness. I can pick up toffee biscuits in the background as if they are waiting to be dipped in the chocolate. This is creamy, gourmand, and delicious. After the 30 min opening, caramel, toffee, and a coconut-vanilla note show up more to balance out and blend with the chocolatey note, eventually overtaking it. The coconut sort of like the Softee coconut grease that I also got in Omnia Profumi Madera. Here the performance is better, stronger, and not intimate but lasts 5-6 hours on me. The brand symbol engraved in the cap and bottles are nice, except the ugly graphic and logo in the front center. Love the smell because it's the non-popcorn and non-toasted caramel vanilla I've been looking for, so I just turn the bottle around so I can just see the black back and cap engraving in peace lol.

Sugar Kisses completely surprised me, Before investing into a full bottle I was 100% sure that this would be a ultra-sugary super synthetic waxy mess... Can report that Sugar Kisses is NONE of that. Actually it's quite sophisticated, especially in the dry-down. Sugar kisses opens with a blast of sweet, lactonic cacao butter, but it's not waxy or buttery. The lactonic facet is also well-balanced. This develops immediately less sweet on the skin...much less sweet! The dry down is not gourmand on my skin: Sugar kisses develops into a vanillery, musky, slightly soapy caramel / floral. I can still sniff the cacao butter facets, but it's slightly powdery as well. . Overall this is very classy and pleasant, also Sugar Kisses is more original than other gourmands on the market such as its brother Van Exstasyx and Bianco Latte. P.S. I am SICK and TIRED of influencers claiming this is BEAST MODE!!! It is NOT, This is very much a skin scent and doesn't last over 5-6 hours just like Van Exstasyx!

I cannot express how much I love this perfume. This is everything I wanted from a vanilla fragrance. Everything about it is perfect - the top notes, the dry down, the longevity.... Some people say it’s too sweet, and that might be your first impression when you try it, but the second time you understand why it’s so good, if you like vanilla scents, of course. I bought many other vanilla perfumes, hoping I would find a better one than Sugar Kisses, but I couldn’t. For me, second place goes to Silky Woods, and third to Bianco Latte (along with all the dupes, like Eclaire by Lattafa). I wish I had all the bottles of this perfume in the world for myself - that’s how much I like it. If you like this one, Van Py Rhum and Van Exstasyx are similar, but Sugar Kisses is by far the best one from Lorenzo Pazzaglia.

I get a dark chocolate cupcake with some rum and vanilla and some tonka with a little hazelnut. I have NO idea how some people are getting basic vanilla with Sugar kisses!! This perfume is anything but basic! The chocolate note stays the whole wear of the fragrance for me and it's sweet but not vanilla sweet if that makes sense. It does get more vanillic on the dry down but retains that chocolate note throughout the whole wear for me. This is definitely a more sensual, dark gourmand for sure!! I would say this perfume is closer to Jousset's Le Gourmand if I HAD to compare it something, but still different for sure. Lasting power was great the first time I wore it and seems to be getting better the more I wear it. HIGHLY recommend if you are into chocolate gourmand scents!

Many times to understand a fragrance you need to know where its idea comes from. This is one of those cases. Sugar Kisses was born as a gift. A gift to Sveva, a wonderful little girl, for her eighth birthday. In my opinion, in this gourmand creation there are all those elements that take us back to childhood, full of love and beautiful things, or at least that's how it should be. Notes of caramel, milk cream, chocolate, dates and hazelnut on a vanilla veil make it soft, sweet but not cloying, a source of well-being and which brings a smile. A sweet kiss sent with the hand of this little girl, which melts our hearts and at the same time envelops us in a comforting cloud of tenderness. “Girl with a Balloon” by Banksy.

Unbelievable fragrance. Yes I agree it’s a bit linear but holy fuck what a delicious creamy sweet cakes vanilla. I feel like I am literally pulling out freshly baked vanilla cookies with caramel all over them. This is unbelievable, sweet, delicious and magnificent. I just bought a sample and I have to say it may be my favourite scent of all time. Vanilla has a tendency to be less long-lasting than fragrances paired with, say, oud or woody bases, but THIS vanilla holy shit it lasted 12+ hours and it is still radiating strong as ever I can smell it all around me. This performance is incredible and the scent is so delicious. I wish it wasn’t $330 MOTHER EFFING DOLLARS

I absolutely do lower the AC in my house so I can wear this now in the near tropical heat & humidity of Georgia. If smell were simply taste, I'd say white chocolate Mounds bar with caramel & chocolate swirls. Served on a plate of musk with floral garnishes. A couple of those waffle & butter cream cookies on the plate. The aromatic whiff of caramel, tonka & rum at the opening are very heady, but they go to the back & re-emerge in the dry down with decidedly gourmand leanings. It's heavanly. As soon as I finish my 5ml sample I will have saved for the full bottle. Seriously, tho... this is a beast & more than one spray in the heat of summer could hurt someone

This is one of my favourite creations by this perfumer. It’s a gourmand fragrance that draws attention with its sweet, caramel vanilla character, yet does so in a remarkably elegant way. The opening is sweet and alluring, with notes of cocoa butter, velvety chocolate, vanilla, nuts, dates and tonka bean. As it develops, the scent softens to reveal rich, milky caramel, sugar and a touch of rum. It's the white chocolate bark candy we make at Christmas, with the nuts, dried fruits, dark chocolate chips. It's the feeling of biting the ears off of a white chocolate Easter bunny. Don't judge it til you get in the drydown. Not all fragrances are designed to be classy, vacation worthy, or make you smell like a rich diva. If there was ever a perfume designed to be worn while wallowing in your pajamas on the couch, watching B movies with your lover on a rainy afternoon, this is it.

I am in LOVE with this! It smells too much like chocolate chip cookies upon first application but then once it mingles with my chemistry it is the best gourmand I have ever smelled❤️❤️❤️. The notes blend so well I can’t pin point any in particular. It’s not for hot weather or tropical climates. It’s perfect for fall cool crisp weather. Anyone looking for this in an oil version go to Etsy and type in the search Sugar Cookie Kisses for a perfect dupe at a way more affordable price!

Love at first sniff I instantly thought it smelt like Nutella - I got the chocolate and nuts on initial spray, then the floral notes which balance the fragrance out. It’s sweet but not cloying, interestingly enough I think this smells so differently to everyone... the people around me seem pick up different notes, but we agree it’s delicious. Totally mouth watering but I’ll need to test the longevity out - for now I’ll rate it 9/10

This was a blindbuy for me. When I first got it, It wasn't quite what I expected. Then I grew to love it a lot. At first, it's STRONG. And a little too sweet yet heavy for my liking. But on the drydown, it's not as linear as I expected. First, I get a chocolate milkshake with a cacaobutter dish next to it. But after a few hours, it somehow starts to smell like cookies to me. Much more airy than at first.

This is the sugar gourmand final boss. While others are hyper specific, this is everything in the back of the bakery in regards to sugar scents. I get the dates and the caramel, but also the gorgeous cacao blossom and orange peel. This is date night. This is walking around an autumn festival. This is walking to Starbucks with a book just because you put this on and it made you hungry.

Something about this scent makes me miss summer. Most gourmands don’t cut through the heat that well but this one does. It reminds me of tanned skin, likely due to the cocoa butter and the coconut notes. It can be cloying, but I feel there is a beauty to that. This is the ultimate vanilla and one of my favorites to wear during the summer time. My scent of the day.

Sugar Kisses Lorenzo Pazzaglia – 8/10 The opening is a bit harsh since the sweetness really hits you right away, but once it settles, it turns into an amazing gourmand. Super sweet, very cozy, and on skin it goes through a bunch of phases that keep it interesting. On clothes it lasts forever, and the final drydown is honestly so good.

Yes, I can wear this all year round. On my skin chemistry, these scents work in hot weather (to me; being uplifted is why I wear scent) I also layer it with Oriana, Sintra, Silky Woods and others and love to experiment. IF you love sweet scents, this is perfect and the floral notes stop it from being too cloying, IMHO.

This is gorgeous - it's what I wanted (overhyped) bianco latte to be. The more you smell it the better it gets - delicious! Don't understand how this only gets a 3.91. Perfect sweet sweet cakey vanilla for gourmand lovers. I wish it came in a bigger size as I want to bathe in it....might be my new signature...

Oh! Not what I expected, I am still to let it settle but on my skin: it smells like a Double Carmel Magnum ice lolly...and maybe a warm stroopwaffle Update- dry's down to a strong cocoa butter lotion smell (at this stage it feels like it is missing chocolate so I laired it with Killian Black Phantom)

Ice cream, nougat and sweets to me. Tested with three friends today and we all got ice cream and sweets. It is very gourmand, very sweet and almost too gourmand. It’s quite overwhelming yet at the same time very addictive, actually has good longevity too

Very sweet sugary caramelised vanilla. Once wore it & someone told me i smelled like straight up Magnum ice-cream. It’s strong at first spray, but then it calms down to a more moderate scent. Does not last as long as expected.

A gourmand lovers dream! But hate the bottle!!

Cocoa butter, vanilla & caramel is what I get from this. It's a sugary cocoa butter but the vanilla is easily identifiable. The caramel comes out better over time. I've said it before and I'll say it again that most caramel perfumes do not actually smell like caramel to me. This one right here, is one that actually does have some kind of realistic comparison to caramel to a degree! Personally, it goes beyond just a cocoa butter scent because you can smell the vanilla and caramel so easily alongside it and it blends beautifully. I don't find that it's old dusty or stale in fact to me, it's quite creamy but I can see how it can be misinterpreted or associated with old and dusty. Not really more to say, it's delicious it's sweet it's creamy it's cocoa butter it's vanilla it's caramel which shines more as time goes on without taking away from the vanilla and cocoa butter. Someone below said chocolate milk powder or something and it is somewhat like Nesquik powder (don't take that too literally) but it's sweeter and has a more rounded scent with the vanilla and caramel. Definitely recommend trying it!

This smells just like Madera omnia to me. Madera is my absolute top vanilla caramel fragrances the vanilla....so at first , I do like sugar kisses but I'm a bit disappointed because I already own Madera...so it's redundant. I'll be selling my sugar kisses. If you have Madera you don't need this and if you have this you don't need Madera but maybe try a sample of madera omnia lol...I prefer Madera over sugar kisses.... The only difference is in the dry down sugar kisses has this nutty And a hint of a dates note...the notes say hazelnut but i smell chestnut!! Then everything turns😣 and sugar kisses turns into this weird jergens cocoa butter lotion with this chestnut note popping in and out...and it's really not in a good way at all. .this is coming from someone who loves cocoa butter and sunscreen smells,this ain't it. opposed to omnia Madera is this Blast vsweet delicious vanilla with this ooey-gooey caramel and coconut 🥥 in the dry down. so do that with what you will...

It’s a pleasant smell, but slightly familiar in a “I’ve smelled this in a body cream before” kind of way. As it develops, it shifts into full-blown gourmand mode: vanilla-heavy with milk chocolate and lactonic undertones. Imagine a dessert explosion—Nutella, toffee, vanilla latte, cake batter, cocoa spread, coconut milk, and a buttery richness all mashed together. It’s cozy, indulgent, and unapologetically sweet. This is pure comfort food in perfume form. Some people will say you smell like a bakery, others might say a vanilla-scented candle. Either way, you’ll smell edible :-) If you're into loud, creamy gourmands, this one’s a sugar bomb worth sampling. If not... you’ve been warned.

I think that sugar kisses is a really well done vanilla. To me, it’s not very harsh, but very soft and pretty. The initial spray is very laconic and milky. Then, as it settles, it becomes a pretty vanilla extract with slight caramel in the background. Once it dries down, i find it to be pretty linear. It’s a very deep and rich vanilla. In my mind it’s a dark purple like vanilla. I see people compare it to walking into a bakery or fresh baked cookies, but I don’t get that. I get that from Cheriosa 72. This though, is a perfectly blended vanilla. All this to say, I think it’s a solid vanilla to have in your collection and I imagine it would layer well.

This smells like a milky caramel bonbon in the first 10 minutes. Then it turns more into cocoa butter, like the Palmers body care line. It is nice but not for this price. If you like the initial blast and are looking for a similar feeling but for a much better price, try either the Lush Sticky Dates body mist or the new perfume from H&M called Social Butterfly. It has a milky, more sugary orange toffee note that gives me this vibe.

Sugar Kisses is a very sweet and buttery gourmand. I happen to like this type of scents, but I do see how this might be too sweet or too gourmand for some. The projection and longevity are below average on my skin, but I have a very cool skin that does not hold fragrance well. If you like sweet dense gourmand fragrances, then there is a very strong chance then this will be a hit for you.

Tested my sample today and I really love this! It’s a very sugary sweet vanilla scent but doesn’t smell synthetic at all to me. It reminds me a lot of scents like Madera and Escapade Gourmande. Might be redundant if you already own those but if you don’t then you need to try Sugar Kisses. This does perform like an extrait concentration: strong and long lasting.

It opens with a very realistic caramel milk candy scent — I’m certain Alpenliebe has a flavor just like this. It’s incredibly true to life. Although I wouldn’t wear it, it smells great. As the milky note fades, it becomes less appealing.

Sugary Creamy Cacao butter with very light notes of citrus. I wanted this to smell more like cake batter but it's still very sweet and soft. It's a unique gourmand and doesn't smell like anything else. I wish it was stronger though.

Smells like a sugary shea/coco butter lotion, very sweet yet quite pleasent. Much more feminine leaning as you could probably assume, but a solid scent regardless. 7/10.

I initially loved how soft and sweet it was, with the cocoa butter being to dominant note, but then it fades and the dry down just reminded me of a car air freshener.

Opening is straight up buttercream frosting candle scent. So dense. The dry down is nice though, it’s hard to detect most of the notes though

This is my first perfume from Lorenzo Pazzaglia, and honestly, I am deeply disappointed. I blind bought Sugar Kisses in the 50 ml bottle and paid $150 for it, which was actually a good price compared to what it usually goes for. But even at that lower price point, this is still an expensive perfume, and for that amount of money I expected much more. At the very least, I expected better longevity and projection. I also expected something more unique. The performance is just unacceptable, even on clothes. I am being generous when I say it becomes a skin scent within an hour. Realistically, it starts disappearing after 30 minutes. For this price, that is honestly a disgrace. The scent is nice, I do I like it. What I get is a mix of cacao butter, chocolate, hazelnut, dates, caramel, a little rum, and some vanilla. I do not get the orange blossom, or any milk note. However, the performance is so bad that I am not even going to sell my bottle because I would feel like I was tricking the buyer into paying for something that is not worth their money. So I am just going to suck it up and mix it or layer it with better performers. If this happened to you, try mixing it with other chocolate perfumes or even with Khamrah. I actually mix them in a small perfume bottle to better integrate the scent. I have also heard that other perfumes from the brand have similar performance issues. I hope they listen to their customers and improve their quality.

Sugar Kisses is a sweet cocoa butter in the top, mid, and drydown. I'm a little disappointed by how the many notes don't come to the forefront for me. I want to like it so badly, but it doesn't feel as complex as I see for others. Upon further testing, my opinion doesn't completely turn. It's hour five of wear on a full day out and it's settled to a lovely, milky sweetness. In NYC's Scent Bar I remember being blown away by how much it smelled like sugary cereal. This would layer well with other scents as well as being beautiful alone. Upon nine hours, it's gone. Sugar Kisses is beautiful yes, but the volume per dollar ratio really doesn't make the scent feel worth it if the perfume won't last over six hours without projecting well. I'm to the point with perfume where I have to see the full value in scents before purchasing off alluring notes alone. That's often the impression I get from Lorenzo Pazzaglia scents; cool and fresh on paper, but disappointingly linear after sampling for a full day. (I'm done complaining cause I got a wonderful deal on a full bottle lol)

I was surprised I didn’t like this. I love vanilla, caramel, and chocolate gourmands so I expected to love this. I was so excited for my luckyscent sample to arrive but I ended up being let down. The fragrance simply didn’t smell the same on me as it seems to smell on everyone else. On me it smelled like hot wax and reminded me of using my glue gun. There were sweet notes in the background, but the dominant smell on my skin was the hot wax. It may just have been how many skin reacts. Very puzzling.

Sweet, delicious and a delight to smell all the day long, Sugar Kisses may not necessarily be to everyone’s tastes. This is sweet but it has that synthetic something in it that can be off putting to some...Personally, it doesn’t bother me but it’s a sample first kind of scent. Longevity on my skin is good, 5-6 hours. On me, this stays linear and sweet and that’s what I signed up for so I am happy 💖 So glad to finally have Sugar Kisses in my collection and a must have for gourmand lovers 💗💖💗💖✨

This is sickly sweet at the beginning. I love gourmands but the opening was just so ick, I couldn’t handle it. I tried it again tonight (decant) to see if the dry down would be any better. The sickening sweetness goes away after about ten minutes and I’m left with a nice vanilla cocoa scent that smells like a slightly elevated choco musk. It is certainly not bad but I can’t imagine spending any decent amount of money on this. Very basic — 5/10
