Sweet Xplosion

Sweet xplosion seems like a difficult perfume to describe to me. I have been able to try it thanks to a Discovery set and, I have to say. As a scent, it is probably the one I liked the most of the set. The sweet opening, loaded with honey and coconut is. As the name itself indicates, an explosion of sweetness in fact. From the beginning you can also notice that more floral part with the rose and broom, and the aromatic and slightly dark smell of coffee. But as time goes by, as the top notes give way to the heart notes and the base notes, I must say that the bomb is losing steam and, at least on my skin, it ends up deactivating quite soon, perhaps too soon. And after half an hour the aroma stays close to my skin. A very rich aroma, yes, of brown roses and vanilla; like an intense Montale coffee but sweeter, more gourmand and with a blacker coffee and less cappuccino. Despite the moderate to Soft performance on my skin, it is likely that at some point I will decide to get a bottle since I find the aroma very unique, special and pleasant. The enjoyment is short, but as long as it lasts... Is amazing! This is something, I have to say, that has happened to me with most of the perfumes that I have been able to try from this house. MY expectations regarding performance were very high due to many of the reviews that can be seen and read in different media, where people say things like that these perfumes last from one day to the next, that after washing the clothes it still smells, that Be careful with the Sprays because more than two can stun those around you.... But in my case not at all... Maybe it's because of my skin, because of the circumstances, because of the climate... But even on my clothes, other perfumes that I use to go out the next day, if I smell the clothes, are still there and there was no trace of sweet xplosion there on the Next day... Therefore and in summary, for me in terms of quality and aroma everything and more but in performance they are just right for being perfume extracts and with such powerful notes.

An explosion of notes, where star anise stands out at the opening (not declared in the olfactive pyramid), bound to soft accents such as coconut, davana, honey, contrasted with other spicy and decisive ones, such as citrus fruits, patchouli and benzoin. A breath of well-being that gathers and explodes in joy, as if it were a sun that shines on us. Wonderful, absolutely unisex and suitable for all seasons. “The Sun” painted by Munch.

The first contact with skin can smell only the honey , after about 30 minutes middle notes takes in with a sweetness that cannot be described but very nice and in the end after many hours it dries down with a fabulous different sweet smell that is like heaven , the longevity for Pazzaglia perfumes at least 24 hours.If you love gourmand perfumes this is a MUST HAVE!!!

Lorenzo Pazzaglia clearly has a love affair with vanilla, and Sweet Xplosion is yet another take on a sweet, gourmand vanilla—but with a twist. The coconut and argan combo adds a body lotion vibe—smooth, comforting, and slightly exotic. Beneath the sweetness lies a faintly bitter, green medicinal edge, likely from davana, blending with the lingering lime to keep things from becoming too sugary or flat. The result feels both edible and cosmetic, like a luxe dessert crossed with a rich skin cream. It’s not overly complex, but definitely distinctive and fun. Sweet Xplosion is a cozy, nutty vanilla gourmand with an unusual twist—and like most Lorenzo Pazzaglia creations, it offers excellent performance.

this is super pretty and spicy! this fragrance takes you on a journey for sure. the argan makes it warm and nutty whilst giving it some savoriness. my skin is pulling dates for some reason, but that could be my boss misinterpreting the honey. overall, this is is beautiful and unique. i’m thinking about getting an FB.

Fresh lime opening with added sweetness from honey and vanilla that is not overbearing Then develops aromatic qualitis but its nothing special

I don’t love it but I don’t hate it either! I can’t explain this fragrance at all 😂

The opening is lovely and sweet. Coconut and ylang-ylang, I love it! Unfortunately, this quite quickly makes a strong turn towards Kirke territory and then stays there for quite a while. I had to go to dinner with friends ~2 hours after application and I tried scrubbing this and Extreme Passion (which I applied by mistake, and which also was very similiar to Kirke) off my arms so they don't interfere with food. No such luck. Now it's been 5 hours - I am home, have taken a shower, and there's still a faint whiff of it on my skin.

This is a difficult perfume to describe and subsequently a hard one to like. The honey and lime combo are interesting but I’m not sure if I’d ever want to smell like this. This might work better to me maybe as a candle I think but as a fragrance it’s a bit confusing with these notes

I like to leave thorough reviews every time I post. I cannot do it this time. This smells like a premium fruit smoothy and nail polish. Funny thing is, I have fallen in love with this house. This is the most fun house I tried. All the fragrances are playful and mass appealing.

The inclusion of davana, and patchouli for that matter, makes no sense to me if this is to be a gourmand explosion of sweetness and it ruins the scent entirely. Hard pass.

I smelled it in store loved it and immediately purchased it. I regretted it as soon as i got home. A lesson i may or may have not learned hehe. It smells really bad on my skin AND clothes. It’s very hard to describe but i’ll try nonetheless. It smells like you’ve been lying in the sun all day and your BO is getting worse by the minute if that makes sense. I can’t tell which note is causing this. Just a jumbled mess.

This fragrance is absolutely spectacular for those that love honey, for those that do not know, honey usually is a very polarizing note because it has the capability of smelling like urine (Observe: Xerjoff Mamluk), to my nose that is not the case in this fragrance. The opening is a fantastic honey'd up version of the Creed Virgin Island Water opening. Slowly it transforms into a cozier, a primarily warm spicy fragrance with aromatic hints; it remains mostly vanillic accompanied by a strong hit of coffee, with slight remnants of honey from the opening. the mid notes are a heavily transitional stage here, rather than having anything prominent stand out compared to other fragrances, it just helps the perfume smoothly and almost seamlessly transition from top to bottom notes. This fragrance is spectacular for indoor summers, and generally great year round outdoors any other time of year, it is quite literally an all day scent with how it moves from that limey coconuty opening to that cozy vanilla coffee combo base.

In theory, I love this perfume. In actuality, I couldn’t wear it. I purchased this fragrance after testing the whole line and the combo of honey, coconut, and lime kept me coming back to it. However, I made the error of not testing on skin first. I hadn’t looked up the notes but just guided myself with the tester strip and didn’t pick up the coffee note in it. While I enjoy, coffee notes on others, I cannot tolerate it on my skin. It induces a headache within an hour and I need to scrub. This happens to me with all fragrances containing coffee. My honest advice, this is a very dense scent where their initial honey citrus blast wears off and it becomes a coffee and rose forward fragrance. It drips with thick sweetness. It is absolutely gorgeous, but be sure it is your style on skin before getting a full bottle.

Sugary. In the air this definitely reminds me of Seta by Moresque. They do share some similarities: citruses in the top, ylang ylang, benzoin, vanilla. In Seta I get the myrrh and in Sweet Xplosion I get the davana. Both notes give that balsamic undertone, but Sweet Xplosion does indeed smell more green/yellow and Seta more brown/yellow. It’s pleasant but I won’t be adding this to my collection.

I don't normally enjoy honey notes, but I'm not mad at it! Everything is blended well enough that the sweetness from the honey is there, but the florals and coffee note start to come through and the dry down is fantastic.

All I get from this fragrance is the most perfect vintage lipstick smell. It is absolutely beautiful. Maybe I’m one of the only people who just really smelled it at the dry down, but damn I was impressed.

This is incredibly nice. Powdered light burnt sugar is best way I could describe this. Full bottle worthy, and fantastic alone but it wpuld also make a great base before a rose fragrance.

Not impressed. Sweet, almost generic niche perfume. Perhaps I feel this way because it is difficult to pick up specific notes/accords. Lorenzo Pazzaglia has better ones in my opinion :)

Smells like sweet dirt on me. Bad coconut and tonka bean takes here, and something very medicinal. I assume davana? Bitter, acrid, bottom of herbal medicine vibes.

I like the first 10 seconds, and then it starts smelling like urine. I am yet to find a fragrance from this house, that's remotely wearable or doesn't smell cheap.

I'm not sure what is going on here but I'm getting a baby wipe scent?! Hope this goes away, will retest in a couple weeks because I really wanted to love this
