Landed on this by chance during my search for a vaguely "goth inspired" fragrance that isn't floral or headache inducing (like Replica Whispers in the Library). Florals, certain musks and woody notes give me bad headaches and florals are always added to everything for whatever reason. To my review... Holy fuck where has Van Py Rhum been my whole life?? My expectations were low. I freaking love vanilla (sorry if that's controversial to say out loud, Jessica) and vanilla fragrances often disappoints me. I hate overly sweet floral vanilla, thankfully this is neither too sweet nor floral. To me this smells like if Vanilla Bean and Fireside from Woodwick Candles had a baby, both whom are my all time favorite scented candles. If you love vanilla as much as I do I think this is a very good buy. It is unisex. My bf also really liked Van Py Rhum so we've been sharing bottle lol. He's not big on florals or heavy musks either. I am not sensing any "drunk pirate ship & spiced rum", but I'm far from seasoned with scents. My descriptions are more literal in the sense of "this is the closest other thing I know of that smells very similar". It smells like creamy vanilla bean, softly of soybean wax and a slight reach for what I can only describe as sweet spice or incense(?) although it's more like a whisper of spice. It's very vanilla caramel forward, not like Sol De Janeiro 71 but more like the scented Woodwick candles I mentioned previously if they were a sprayable liquid. Majority of vanilla fragrances usually miss the mark for me, but not this one. My criteria for a good vanilla is it MUST smell like a creamy luxe vanilla bean. In baking, vanilla isn't a substitute for sugar and I think the same goes for fragrance generally.

Van Py Rhum is a perfect dark, gothic, vanilla fragrance. It is warm, rich, earthy, boozy, resinous, and slightly sharp around the edges, and very wearable. It does not smell like a basic sweet vanilla to me. It has depth, texture, and a darker base that gives it complexity. The opening gives me a strong vanilla impression right away, it feels dense, almost like vanilla pods steeped in rum. There is a caramelly rum quality running through it that gives the fragrance a warm, syrupy richness. The rum feels smooth and ambered, like a dark liquor soaked into vanilla and caramel than a straight alcohol note. As it develops, the patchouli becomes more noticeable and adds this damp earthy, slightly sharp backbone. It gives the scent a grounded quality and keeps the sweetness from becoming too soft. There is also a dark oud note in the base that gives it weight and shadow. The oud does not smell harsh to me. It reads more as a dark woody depth, adding a slightly smoky, resinous, almost blackened edge underneath the vanilla and rum. The vanilla itself feels layered and full-bodied. It has a balsamic warmth, a creamy sweetness, and a slightly woody dryness that makes it feel more mature than a typical gourmand vanilla. The caramel facet blends beautifully with the rum and tonka-like warmth, giving it this dark vanilla liqueur feeling. There is a faint white floral softness somewhere in the composition, but it does not smell floral-forward to my nose at all. It mostly adds body and smoothness behind the vanilla. The main focus stays on the vanilla, rum, patchouli, caramel, and oud.

My third review on Fragrantica is coming with a fragrance I would never have the chance to smell so bought the Pick 'n' Mix from Edulge to test this out. I actually picked 4 fragrances out of 6 and was struggling to find another 2, so went on Tiktok and thought this looked interesting so added it in. As I thought, it is in fact interesting. It opens with this massive punch of rum which I wasn't a fan of at all. But since my drive to work it has gone and I'm getting this medicinal vanilla but kind of in the right way. I can't seem to feel the fragrance projecting, however, within 5 minutes someone came into my office and said they could smell a lovely vanilla. A few hours later, and another compliment later, the medicinal note seems to have gone and can confirm this is sitting at a lovely vanilla. Not sweet, not dark, but in this middle ground with the rum sitting nicely in the background. It almost seems like the medical note I was getting was simply the rum making it's way to the base to let the vanilla pass, or that's how it seems. The caramel seems to be late to the party on this one, amount 3-4 hours in for me, but the best characters never get to the party early, and this is clearly evident here. The blend is incredible. I can only describe this as a dark Werther's Original at this stage, if you know then you know... 8 hours later I'm still getting whiffs off 1 spray from a sample bottle this morning. This fragrance is serious. It will be very hard to resist dropping £135 on this in the very near future. I hope this helps.

This is for me THE VANILLA by Lorenzo Pazzaglia. Of those that I have been able to try, it is undoubtedly the one that I liked the most and, furthermore, the one that has given me the best performance. At the start and during the first minutes what stands out the most on my skin is the rum, a dark and very alcoholic rum, almost as if I had poured a bottle of rum over myself. At that moment I thought... Powerful, interesting... But it's not something I would wear on a regular basis. However I left my house, some time passed and when I realized I was enveloped in a wonderful vanilla cloud. A dark vanilla with a hint of alcohol and much more powerful than its sister Van Extasys. In reality, the perfume does not offer much more so I question whether, having other vanillas in my collection, it is worth spending what a bottle costs to buy this perfume, but I have to say that I liked it, and I liked it a lot. It is true that, like almost all of this brand's perfumes, it has a synthetic touch, but it is also true that I have realized that vanilla perfumes that only use natural vanilla extracts do not work on me and do not last even a breath. . Van py rhum has lasted well for 8-9 hours and with adequate projection (although like almost all the ones I have tried from the brand without being a beast at any time). If you are looking for a caramelized and dark but versatile and very pleasant vanilla, this could be a very suitable option...

This smells exactly like Rum and Vanilla Coke, which was my favorite drink. The rum hits strong at first, but settles quickly to the vanilla and caramel, giving you a boozy vanilla caramel combo. The sillage (on clothes) is enormous for 9 hours (definitely filled our conference room during a meeting), Strong for 12 hours easy, and moderate for 24+ hours. I tested this out at work(car dealership), and 4 people complimented me through out the day. An older lady said I smell like a dream(not sure what that means) and the rest were from coworkers which all said the sillage smells like a masculine caramel vanilla(I think the wood is what they are associating to masculine, which I didnt think would come through in the sillage). The Longevity on skin is eternal 12+ hours(not projecting just skin scent), the longevity on clothing is still going as if I just sprayed it and is the key reason behind the 16 hour strong sillage. This is full bottle, and back up bottle worthy. These were my spray points: On skin was all pulse points one spray each point (6 sprays) On clothing was LR collar, back collar, LR shoulder, and mid chest. (6 sprays) This is how I test all the time, it helps me gauge how I will need to spray in the future if I decide to purchase. SIDE NOTE: I do not recommend this amount of sprays if you work in an office, my showroom floor is huge enough where I wont choke anyone out.

Wearing this fragrance right now (7 sprays), I think people have this fragrance wrong? I bought my bottle from OlFactoryFactory and i’m wearing it for the first time. The projection seems to be moderate to MAYBE strongish? Can’t say much on sillage but i’d imagine it leaves a small trail behind due to its thick syrupy nature. It could be possible that on my skin it’s not beastly, but I do put on lotion before spraying my fragrances on. The scent is pretty linear i’d say. I’m not sure what rum smells like but when you do spray this to MY interpretation the opening smells like spiced vanilla extract. Before the dry down you get a heavy vanilla mixture, light caramel, and that patchouli/oud mixture. The patchouli/oud is definitely there, but I would say it sits in the background throughout the lifetime of the fragrance. Once it dries down, the vanillas mellow down a little, and the caramel starts to pop out. It almost gives this syrupy sweetness, but it’s toned down from the darker notes. I would say if you’re looking for a complex niche fragrance, look somewhere else. Although the blend of notes is unique, it’s pretty linear as said before. So if you can please sample before buying a full bottle. Nevertheless I do love this fragrance but for the price of $150 for a 50ml, I expected more.

Commenters who say this is weak are lying or totally noseblind, this is incredibly well made potent perfume. The difference between this one and let's say Erba pura or something that has strong ambroxan or ambrocenide, is that this doesn't punch you in the nose (that's what people mean when they say "well-blended.). Yes, you won't immediately fill a room after you enter, because this is not a sharp chemical mess. But it is very strong and potent, I promise that with even 1 or two sprays everyone will eventually notice it, and projection goes on for solid 7 hours. So don't feel the need to overspray please because you will choke people out. I think it is well worth the money if you like sweet, holiday or special event fragrances. It is in the same category as Angel's Share and is similarly unisex. I don't recommend blind-buying, only if you actually enjoy really indulgent stuff that smells of sugar and a little alcohol, because rum and caramel are actually there, so beware. Most accurate description (confirmed by multiple family members) is that this smells like Bailey's.

My first and probably riskiest blind buy ever, but was it worth it... absolutely! This fragrance delivers what it says, as many posts below this one say it’s vampire themed and it fits so damn well... the first spray experience for me was a roller coaster of sensual vanilla, nice boozy rum with a caramel undernote, and then weirdly enough the sweetness was, for the first like ten minutes, like mint? It was odd but then it dried down and became one of the most sensational vanillas I’ve ever smelt, I sprayed once and it’s been radiating on my skin for the last nine to ten hours... Can be headache including to those who don’t like overly sweet vanilla scents, but if you don’t overspray it will be noticed by everyone, a seemingly simple “heavily vanilla” fragrance that turns out to be the most unique and delicious one in my collection... For the longevity I’ll definitely give it a 9.5/10 Silage is top tier, 8/10 Overall it’s an exquisite vanilla lovers dream in a bottle, still wouldn’t recommend blind buying it.

Edit: it's been a year since I first tried this and I've been contemplating it ever since, unable to stop thinking about it. Yeah, so I just bought it. I still love it, and glad I now own a 50ml. I had this as a sample and I'm almost annoyed at how much I like it because Lorenzo Pazzaglia is clearly very talented, and has a huge repertoire which means I now have to sample even more. Oh dear. Oh well etc etc. I'll get to the point: extremely well balanced vanilla heavy corpsey yet romantic fragrance. Hence the vampire theme. Van Py Rum gives a boozy evening in the summer in an exotic garden you've never attended, it's a dark Renaissance painting and everyone's naked and everyone's bleeding from puncture holes in the neck, the only thing vanilla about the orgy is the fragrance, and we're all in love but cagey and closed and blah blah 10/10 for anyone who loves vanilla and sees themselves an Anne Rice protagonist. Brush your locks, check your frills, do your lippy, spray this, feast, fuck, enjoy.

Don't be fooled by the votes, this is a patchouli bomb, so you better love that note if you want to try this on skin. Thankfully, I love it, but if you're on the fence, beware. I see why people compare it to Vanilla Royale, but they don't smell similar to my nose. Vanilla Royale is basically Vanilla 28 with a bit of patchouli and after a while all you're left with is basically Vanilla 28, which is lovely, but what I'm trying to say is that is way more vanilla heavy than this, despite the note breakdown. I also, thankfully, don't get that plasticky rhum note that so many perfumes have. And again, despite the name and the votes, rhum is not the second most prominent note. All in all, this is a delicious sweet patchouli perfume that doesn't smell like chocolate and doesn't smell vintage (so nothing like Psychedelique or Reminescence Patchouli). It is indeed very strong, but it's still smooth and it doesn't have any screeching synthetic edges, which I really appreciate.

This is an incredibly rich and deep caramelized vanilla fragrance with a heavy hand of booze. It opens with a blend of vanilla, vanilla, and more vanilla. You also get a browned caramel and caramelized, warm, slightly spiced rum. This smells exactly how the Tomy’s Rico Besos candies taste lol. It’s got a candied richness to it but it feels refined with the rum. I get virtually no patchouli until the full drydown and even then it’s very subdued as it’s overtaken by the heavy vanilla that’s now been blended with a woody oud (the oud here reads like a simple woody note not so much an oud one) The warm rum follows in the drydown but it’s less spiced and more smooth. A gorgeous booze fest with a medley of vanillas and creamy caramels, a hint of powdery patchouli in the background. This lasts insanely long just from a sample vial and projects really strongly.

Warm, sweet, vanilla & rum are the stars of the show they mingle and dance together in this potion of vanilla forward magic together very nicely if you do not like sweet vanilla walk away lol if you do, and you don't mind the seductive swirl of the Rum that is a very prominent note with opening spray and dry down, this is a beauty. It reminds me of a cold crisp morning on my grandaddy's porch when he would be sipping whiskey and smoking a Cobb pipe with a vanilla sweet tobacco but there is no smoky tobacco profile, it just gets me to that black n mild scent profile that I recall - dry down is beautiful. The caramel is softly blended so that it's not choking out the softness of the white flowers and instead floats gently in the heart notes and Sweetly dries on the skin. I will be buying a full sized bottle.

I can be very simple and straightforward here: Van Py Rhum by Lorenzo Pazzaglia is a vanilla bomb. This review could end here, but I'll shed some more light on this marvelous fragrance. The first thing that caught my attention was the wonderfully realistic rum note. I love spiced gold rum and dark rum, and this is the first fragrance that captures dark spiced rum for me. Many fragrances list rum as a note, but I often can't smell any rum in them. Soon, caramel joins the vanilla and pushes the rum to the background. In the dry down, it becomes a bit darker and woodier, likely due to the patchouli and oudh. But from start to finish, this remains primarily a vanilla bomb, with boozy spiced rum and caramel in support. It boasts very good longevity and performance. 9.5/10

I reallyyyyyyyyyy want this perfume, I bought a 2ml sample a while ago to try it and i've still got plenty which is amazing heh. a lot of perfumes require multiple sprays just to show up but with van py rhum you really only need one spray. i adore the scent omg, i'd never smelt patchouli before so i was a bit skeptical because of what i had heard, but honestly it mixes so well with the other notes. i really love vanilla scents, so normally i get sweet kinds of vanilla perfumes, but since i discovered this omg fhivbewivbivbgkueygvu i flipping love it it's very different from my other perfumes but is by far my favourite. it lasts all day and just smells absolutely delectable 10/10 5 stars would 100% recommend. once i have money again i WILL buy her.

After about 20 minutes, the fragrance dries down to its base notes, revealing a perfect harmony of rum, patchouli, and vanilla. Although there are seven vanillas listed, I don’t detect an overpowering vanilla scent; which I am glad, in my opinion it’s the perfect amount. I could see this lasting a good 6+ hours on my skin and even longer on clothing. This was a blind buy for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys earthy, boozy, and sweet fragrances. It’s a truly beautiful fragrance. overall 9/10

Holy smokes! A rich decadent cake soaked in rum. The patchouli in here is so addictive. I’m not the biggest fan of patchouli, but here it’s perfectly balanced, with a deep chocolatey undertone that complements the vanilla and rum beautifully. There’s also a subtle spicy kick in the dry-down that adds more depth to this perfume, though I can’t really pinpoint the exact note. The overall effect is a dark, boozy vanilla with a sultry twist from the patchouli and something dark and sticky like a resinous syrup, if that makes sense. Perfectly sweetened without being cloying. The perfume also evokes a cold feeling, strangely. I love it! I want to buy a backup so bad. Ugh. 11/10

This is absolutely beautiful, I first smelled this in a store and I was hesitant on it at first, but when I sprayed it on my skin, it went so perfect with my chemistry, and it isn't too vanilla-ly, it I has a perfect amount of all ingredients, none of the ingredients overpower each other, it is blended well with everything, and as long as you don't like vanilla or rum, or any of the notes, you will love this, this is absolutely awesome, the only down side is, it is expensive for 50 ml and I want to constantly spray it like a room spray and everything but force myself to stop so I can actually use it for the right occasions

Love at first sniff, but I’ve had this for over a month now. The first half of the wear I get vanilla pudding drizzled in rum. It has a very thick unctuous quality that I love in the colder months. After several hours it dries to a more standard patchouli vanilla, but still very rich and well balanced and a touch of rum remains. It’s a more polite patchouli than most. It’s not really complicated, it just smells really good and leaves a seductive trail. If cozy is indeed as on trend I expect this is a brand you will hear mentioned frequently over the coming year. Don’t worry, they smell more refined than the bottles look.

I've been wearing this for years, I'm on my fourth bottle. The last two, I thought Venba sent me a fake (they didn't) because I could barely smell it. Then I went in person to buy the last one in New York. I realised the new batch is significantly weaker than the old batches. I spray it, and it BARELY lasts. I thought i went nose blind, I had others sniff me, and they couldn't smell anything. This is disappointing. In the past, this scent was so intense and would last 16+ hours and stay forever on clothes. I have to find a new personal scent. Doesn't last or project like it used to

Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Py Rhum is boozy, sexy, and sweet, plain and simple. I don't know if i can say much else but it smells fucking phenomenal. This guy will go untouched when it comes to masculine, boozy vanilla's forever. If I had to give a couple comparisons for this, it would be Feve Gourmande by Guerlain if it was made with pure vanilla instead of chocolate, OR Pazzaglia's own Van Exstasyx. On top of all of that the price to value is absolutely ridiculous, genuinely one of the best when it comes to price to value. Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 SSB: Soft Buy

Starts with a fat blast of rum but to my nose that quickly fades away into a very earthy vanilla. You do get a chocolate feel from this one and kind of reminds me a little bit of feve gourmand. The dry down is next level good it kind of goes from being a really dark fragrance to almost a light minty vanilla with caramel. performance on my skin was not beast mode like some people were saying. I got a solid 7-8 hours with this one, I will be honest initially I did not like this because of the opening but the dry down is where it really shines! Overall score: 8.8/10

the perfume where i finally had to admit/realise that i don't hate patchouli! obviously, its very easy to love vanilla. we all mostly love vanilla. this is a beautiful vanilla with some rum caramel (and patchouli). if you want a slightly more complex vanilla that isnt actually all that complex while still not being boring, this is fabulous. its unisex. a good one for layering something thats too floral or too spicy. a beautiful wonderful star on its own. a lot to like here, not least the packaging. spooky kids need this one for sure.

One of my favourite discoveries this year. Not usually a fan of sweet vanilla fragrances but the dark patchouli and booze save this from cloying boredom and make it something sensual and a bit addictive. The booze is more like a whisky to me lacking the sweet spice of a rum. Performance is super too, lasts a really long time (like days on clothes, over 7hrs on skin) and projection stays strong most of the wear. Price also reasonable enough that I wouldn’t be too upset to pay full retail. Impressive.

This is a rum candy. For the first hour you smell the heavy rum with a hint of sweetness from the vanilla. Later the sweet caramel starts to shine, you get vanilla and caramel combo, you start to smell like a cocktail. At the end a bit of patchouli is present with the sweetness. I feel like an 18th century vampire in a castle. Drinking alcohol and dancing to the music with a lover. One of the best gourmand perfumes. This fragrance has the same effect as drugs to me. Thick vanilla caramel rum, chocolate patchouli, soft tonka, subtle woody Oud background. Three types of vanilla make this blend very rich and earthy, like splitting open a vanilla bean and taking a deep breath. Boozy rum is quite strong and is followed closely behind by a chocolate patchouli. The Oud wood is a nice base that gives this blend an added complexity that makes it more interesting. If you enjoy a boozy authentic vanilla scent this is for you. I Plan a getting a bottle.

vanilla, chocolate, rum, patchouli bomb with abit of oud in the back with decent projection but monster longevity (10-12hours). the oil sheen on your skin after spraying this is insane, so concentrated in oils! the vanilla in this is not your typical sweet gourmandy kind, it's more reminiscent of vanilla buds which are more dark, spicy and has a balsamic nuance. still creamy, not as sweet. unique release from LP, best worn in colder situations or just at night. overall, 10/10

Vanilla, Rhum and Patchouli and more and more vanilla , this is what you get ! However , Van Py Rhum is a pleasant fragrance , compliment chaser and room filer. The vanilla is not too sweet for me , not cloying except if you overspray and it's also a pretty nice scent for layering. With an oud oil or a pretty skanky frag the results is pretty nice ! I'm layering it with Emerati Oud from Hind Al Oud and both show their best side ! The oud note in this one is undetectable

Ordered a sample of this a while ago and fell in love. When I ordered and sprayed the full bottle it was a little harsher and more intense than the sample but that harshness quickly fades into this beautiful sweet, dark and boozy vanilla scent. It's almost a signature scent in how unique and different I consider it from other vanillas. I'd recommend this perfume to anyone who loves a more dark, eccentric and gothic vibe and isn't afraid to stand out.

this perfume smells so mfn good!! very simple too, not too much going on so dont let the notes fool you. vanilla BOMB with rum on the first spritz. then it dries down into a woody, vanillic patchouli. the patchouli comes outttt once she's dried down. i loved this scent the first time i tried n i looked around for something similar (or even better) but didn't happen. it quite literally doesn't get better than this ANDD shes there alllll day! buy it!

Really delightful mature vanilla scent. This is deep, sweet, a bit earthy and dark. Van Py Rhum really is not my type of scent but the smell is so addictive and intoxicating. I love this on me and on my girlfriend, I wish she would own a bottle in the future. Great caramel undertone which makes it even more delicious. It lasts a great while aswell I must add. A person on a hunt for a vanilla perfume must try this, a great take on vanilla.

A perfect combination of Vanilla, rum and patchouli perfectly balanced with each other to create a splendid and very sensual fragrance. Vanilla is absolutely the master of this warm and enveloping fragrance, rum and patchouli keep the feminine part of the vanilla at bay to give rise to a perfectly unisex fragrance. It is a very sweet fragrance but Not cloying. Extreme persistence, as well as sillage. Magnificent ! Recommended

Gorgeous vanilla scent that’s not sickeningly sweet. Opens up vanilla and caramel heavy and a little patchouly in the background. When it’s been on your skin for a while, it gets a depth to it of rum and more patchouli. Definitely a scent that you should wear at night time. The scent doesn’t change much from opening - heart - drydown, still amazing! Longevity and projection are both great.

At first spray, it smells like a rich, expensive vanilla extract. Over time, it develops into an incredible boozy vanilla scent that projects strongly and makes you feel almost intoxicated, like being wrapped in a bubble of vanilla rum. In my opinion, it’s one of the best vanilla fragrances out there and definitely worth trying if you’re into darker, less gourmand vanilla scents.

Recibí mi botella y quedé sin palabras. Primero pensé que era una replica de Angel de Mugler. Eso me decepcionó mucho porque sentí una explosión de chocolate alcoholica. Pero al pasar los minutos en el secado se volvió aterciopelado en mi piel. La evolución es hermosa, se percibe una vainilla suave, el patchouli y el oud. El rhum no es.protagonista para nada , pero me encanta.

Imagine Dracula wearing this, it's seductive, mature, sweet. Heavy vanilla, patchouli + rhum combo is perfect. I used to hate vanilla (and patchouli in general) on men, but this convinced me to rethink about it. I just get happy smelling the sample I have from this. It smells classy & like fall (the best season). I don't have enough words to describe it. Just try it yourself.

So boozy it actually made me gag a little bit when first sprayed. There's something sickening about how heavy this perfume is. Heavy heavy rum with a woody patchouli, but the dry down is extremely sweet. So many vanillas with an intoxicating caramel. It lasts forever and I think is wonderful to wear on a night out. Could be seen as cloying, but I am REALLY into it.

This is my favourite vanilla of all time. I love vanillas that are a bit heavier and on the dirtier side, and doesn’t have this sickening sweetness to it. Van Py Rhum incorporates a really nice blend of vanilla and rum, making it feel like a real “bad boy” scent. On the drydown I also get a bit smokiness. It lasts very nice, about 10-11 hours. Can only recommend.

First if you don’t live in a region that experience autumn/winter sorry you won’t get how good this is in those seasons, lorenzo pazzaglia perfected that caramel-vanilla combo on this without complicating it, it’s says I am edible eat me in a very gentlemanly way, it is different from anything I have smelt so far but it is so fucking good

this is the best perfume i have ever smelled, so happy for this blind buy. This smells like a vampire, name is on point. when i spray this i genuinely feel like an immortal vampire, perfect blend of vanilla with patchouli in the background. rhum adds depth. overall this is a legendary story in a bottle. please buy this, you will not regret it at all. 11/10

What an absolute masterpiece this is.... Guys, just buy this. I promise you will NOT regret this purchase. Smells like a mysterious sweet well put together person. This is dark and sweet and not a single note here that is off putting to the nose. I have 50 fragrances, alot of them are niche and designers and I can confidently say this is my number 1 spot.

This might be the most vanilla-y vanilla to ever vanilla. This is like a boozy vanilla extract, and I love it. I feel this leans more towards a cold, icy vanilla than something warm and gourmand. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this as I'm not a huge vanilla fan, and I plan on buying a full bottle 100%. And did I mention this smells like vanilla, lol

I'm really not a big fan of the opening notes, but luckily after 20-30 minutes this becomes a deep gorgeous creamy caramel vanilla with a hint of chocolate, the only thing slightly disturbing is the vague acetone smell which lingers practically throughout the day :/ Otherwise cozy, a good one for working from home on cold weather days.

The thickest, richest, moistest chocolate cake still warm from the oven. Creamy vanilla and a dark chocolatey patchouli intermingle, with a boozy undertone of rum caramel. Sweet, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. Devil's food cake with vanilla icing and a drizzle of rum caramel. Moderately strong projection for 4-5hr, longevity 16hr+.

it's a vampire themed fragrance for a reason. It's just absolutely sensational and a pleasant surprise, need i speak about the wonderful drydown that gets darker? i never thought such sweet fragrance could be comforting and dark at the same time, truly deserving of its vampire naming, it really made me go head over heels...

At first I didn’t like it at all. This fragrance has grown on me completely. Mysterious and dark, the name fits it very well. The opening is harsh to some but the dry down is more subtle and you start noticing the sexy Carmel note. The patchouli saves it from being boring. Favorite in my collection by far.

This perfume makes me want to commit autocannibalism. It isn't even a true gourmand but that's what makes it a lot better, the patchouli is masterfully blended and doesn't even smell like patchouli at all, just a deep earthiness to the vanilla. Oud gives a slight leather quality to the drydown.
