This is a major blind buy success for me, and this perfume is exactly what I had hoped it would be and more. Teint de Neige is the smell of a powdery boudoir of a very sophisticated woman. This is the most feminine, elegant powder in liquid form. In fact, when I spray this fragrance, I am surprised that a liquid comes out of the bottle it is that powdery. This is not a baby powder scent, if that is what I was searching for I could have bought Demeter's baby powder for $25 and call it a day. This is dense, and complex. I can sense the rose; it is a musky rose turned to powder. I can sense heliotrope the powdery bitter almond smell starts off w/ shades of violet, then it turns to shades of blue that then turn into the purest white powder. Vanilla is there blending w/ dusty tonka, giving a touch of sweetness but only a touch. Teint de Neige is refined, and elegant. It smells of another era. It smells like the Gilded Age. The woman who wears this perfume wants to remain a mystery. She is aloof and a bit distant. Good for days spent in solitude. Perfect for being snowed in. I will enjoy wearing this when the snow falls. Beautiful.

Wow - this is such a unique fragrance! Of course it is all about powder, but it is so well done - so elegant and refined. But, it is powerful, and therefore needs to be sprayed very gently. Just a tiny spray and you will have lovely, slightly sweet, powdery wisps floating around you every time you move for hours to come. Spray too much and I imagine it would catch in your throat, make your eyes run and probably give you (and anyone else around) a headache. Personally I would not wear this to go out - I prefer something more complex for that, and I think many other people might find it strange because it is so different to most of the popular scents around today. But I love to apply a little spray when I am at home to get those gorgeous comforting and luxurious wisps floating around, and I particularly like to apply a little before going to bed. It soothes me to sleep, and is even lovelier when I wake in the morning. It is very expensive, but you need such a small amount that a bottle will literally last you for years. Highly recommended for any lover of powdery fragrances.

2025.10.18. I have to change a bit my earlier review, because this scent has become my favorite basic scent. I love using this only one spray under my clothes, just because I want to feel it forever. I am obsessed whit this perfume. 100/10 2024.12.26. This is the parfume, that I so-so many years ago started to hate and love at the same time. THERE IS SOMETHING.There is (or I just fantasised) a secret note, that Lorenzo Villoresi never tell, and this note is addictive. I just simple adore it now, learn it, how to apprichiate. Shometimes I feel wonderful roses, than powder, but luxury woman podwer, not the baby's ones! Somethimes just too much. Another occasion, too less...Who understand it? From Villorezi, I love Spezie, for man, the perfect spicy fragrance at all time IMO. I love Herbamate too, but not too often, a sample enough. If you love real quality in a rose powdery fragrance, try it!

I purchased Teint Neige EDT immediately after one sniff at a posh beauty pharmacy in Vienna's 19th district. This is Powder with a capital P. There is no vanilla in the description but it easily could have vanilla. There is no fruit no florals just heaven in a bottle. This is a hug, it's perfect for summer nights, spring and I don't think it will do well in winter, but we shall see. It is a MASTERPEICE and NOBODY will smell like you. My beautiful auntie has it I never knew and she smells heaven. This is Johnson & Johnsons baby powder the posh version, I'm not gonna lie, the other reviewers are correct when they say this, but it scream RICH ITALIAN GODDESS. I am in love. It's expensive so don't blind buy this.

Wow! what a fragrance! Im into clean smelling scents at the minute and it doesn't get much better than this. A powdery soft fragrance, delicate yet substantial in its delivery, a little goes a long way. It seems to steer away from a 'mature' scent, though people who don't like powdery scents may disagree, theres something a bit more modern about it in my opinion, its a powdery rose done well. The bottle is beautiful, the pricepoint is ok, the longevity is amazing. would recommend picking up a sample if possible before buying, this is definitely one that could be headache inducing at first sniff for some, and so probably isn't safe for work.

This is addictive! You have been warned. This is a fragrance of great contradictions even though it has a smooth feeling. Clean and animalic, soapy and floral, childish and mature (leaning on old), vintage and current. It is a winter’s day fragrance but also a sleepy night scent. It can be sexy and off putting at the same time. Signature scent worthy and special occasion scent. Wear it 3 times and you are locked in its charm forever! Or you will just hate it; but not forever. Revisit it and see what happens.

My all time favorite perfume ever! First, in 2011 I thought it was simple, a nice, but simple babypowder, which I like, but not love. Over the years I fall in love with this fragrance, and I have learnt how beautyful and deep this fragrance actually. If I had to choose one scent to take to a deserted island, this would be it. ❤️

To me, this is powdery, soft, slightly flowery, slightly sweet, slightly soapy, musky. It is strong, It projects beautifully. It is elegant and soft, the colour of snow is the perfect name for it. It is "relaxing" and very comforting. I am very glad I finally decided to get a bottle 🤍❄️🫧

Fluffy, soft, powdery yet leaves a very powerful scent trail. This is a gorgeous soft vanilla type scent, can’t imagine you would ever offend anyone with this unless you oversprayed of course....I love this scent, she has a place in my collection...

Clean, ice-cold baby powder sent with a slight vanilla-y creaminess. Lasts and projects extremely well both on skin and clothes. It smells like being fresh out of the bath wrapped in a soft, white towel (that also smells heavenly).

This is my other feel good perfume, aside from penhaligon's luna. Luxurious baby powder cozy and warm like a hug! I use this when i want to uplift my mood.great performance, Big love!

Comfort in a bottle. If you love powdery scents, you need this. I enjoy layering it with L’Instant Magic, as its sweeter floral notes soften the dryness of Teint de Neige.

Powdery vanillic musk dry down is where the magic of this potion. One of my favorites!

Very light, fresh, clean scent. Instantly reminded me of waking up early in the morning in a B&B in the Italian countryside. Windows open, fresh air, fresh, white, cotton sheets. Nostalgic but doesn’t feel old. Surprisingly, my husband made a similar B&B comment when smelling it on me for the first time. Though it is strong and long lasting, the scent itself does not feel overwhelming. Soft feel.

Get the EDT version. I own both and the EDP too rich and dense and it makes me nauseous. The EDT projects better, lasts longer, is sweeter yet has an airiness to it, more suitable to every season and is cheaper! Win win!

If you're into powdery smells, you can't go wrong with this one. Excellent projection and longevity. I did not notice a big difference between the EDT and the EDP (the EDT is also amazing, performance-wise).

This remind me just the opening of Roja Dove, Oud and Amber Oud coz both get to another directions. This one transforms into powdery rose jasmine musc scent.

Very dainty feminine. So soft, almost fragile scent. Reminds me of a funeral home. Not a bad scent, just not for me.

Agreed with Tincel. I hesitated to say but it's such a dated scent that is brash and unrefined whilst being extremely powdery and one-dimensional. The result is an uninspiring, bland, and truthfully quite bothersome fragrance. A lovely name with a regrettably poor execution.

I thought this would be a love based on reviews, but to me this is Grannies 80’s soaps. Horrendous and nauseating. I don’t understand how this is popular. A absolute hate and a scrubber for me.

Oh wow. I discovered this a year ago, and considering my reaction back then, I can say that I definitely was not in my powdery era yet. I revisited this today, EDP and EDT side by side. EDT: Slightly airier and powdery. Lots of heliotrope, you can really smell the almondy note but it is still a very cosmetic scent. EDP: Creamier and more concentrated. Just as much heliotrope, and maybe more musk. After two hours, I cannot really detect any difference except that the EDT is more quiet and logically disappears sooner. Both are magnificent. They are not THIS powdery after all. For instance, I have smelled more powdery iris focused scents. Teint de Neige is actually the smooth scent of old school makeup powder and can have a vintage vibe for a younger audience, which I totally get. For me, it is timeless, classy, beautiful. I love this.

First off, you need to believe everyone who says a little goes a long way - test out easily your (and your coworkers) limits on this fragrance and don’t overspray. I say this for a warm or hot day. With temperatures under 26C and/or some wind, this one is a charming fairy dust of clean (slightly aldehyde leaning) powdery vanilla with a soft sweet natural rose (it is NOT like roses vanilla). Very feminine, delicate, elegant and suitable for many occasions. I adore it!!! Once over sprayed, or worn on a hot day, the powder gives way to a cloying musk that scratches your face with with aldehydes - think of a dirty dog with soap foam on top. The sweet rose just makes it all the more nauseating and it even appears like those cheap flea market rose Essences. I’m writing this as I made the mistake of wearing it on a hot day today. Oof...

I oscillate between finding this headache-inducing and nauseating to extremely pleasant .. I’m on the fence to purchase full bottles because of these mixed experiences everytime ive tested. It certainly smells powdery, like rich hotel soap, but with a slight undertone of warmth from the flowers, so it’s not a pure musk powdery scent. It smells of taif al emarat musk oil (if you know). The edp cannot be oversprayed. Two or three sprays (on the torso, not wrists or neck) will be enough for a wonderful scent bubble. You’ll certainly smell clean. I don’t know about the price though... you could get this scent profile from Tesori D’orienté white Musk ($12) for 1000% cheaper than this.

powdermonium. For some reason, the Fortnums perfume floor is stuffed to the gunwales with various teint de neige iterations at the moment: lotion, perfumes, limited edition perfume bottles, body oil (I think!) and even powder itself. If you specifically like this kind of vintage powder smell, this will be a thrill. I concluded that it's akin to a close-reading of the genre, so I bought their smallest bottle just for science. (but probably will not repurchase due to the existence of L'Heure Bleue, which obviously doesn't smell anything like this, but is an unbeatable powdery smell and far closer to my taste.)

Oh, this is an absolute gem of a fragrance! It is so velvety and powdery soft, but very inviting. One of very few fragrances that I don’t go noseblind on, which is great. The main star of the show is the heliotrope, backed by rose, musk and the tonka beans. I don’t get much of the jasmine and ylang-ylang. Very affordable too. I use it on it’s one occasionally, but I typically use it for layering. Just to give other fragrances that sweet and powdery veil on top. First bottle almost empty, after just 6 months. New one already on it’s way!

This was a blind buy, but a very successful one. It really is lovely and comforting. As others have said it is gloriously powdery but not baby powder on me, just a soft musky floral powder. I want to try the body products next. Update - I have decided that this is now one of my top 5 favourites. It really is the gold standard for powdery perfumes. I have also tried Talco by New Notes, which is lovely, but still not as great as Teint de Neige. Talco is not as floral and I really miss that.

Beautifully soft and powdery with florals and a strong tonka that isn't plasticky. It can seem light in the bottle but it projects.I applied around four spritzes and could tell it was going to have a strong sillage. Wore it to a hospital and had the nurse compliment me on the perfume and said she could smell coconut. I think it was probably the tonka. Luckily she didn't seem to think it too strong for the setting which was good.

I have the edp and edt and there’s no huge difference to me in fact hardly any. At first I wore one spray of each on opposite hands and waited. Both lasted all day I would even say the edt projected a bit longer. The scent is like the same record played on slightly different speakers, the edt comes off a bit tinny that’s all. If anyone else has compared both I’d be interested in what you thought.

I tried this one and immediately bought ths 50ml version. If you like powdery, musk scents that sit well on rainy days, this is for you. Amazing durability, super long lasting and I'd say 2 sprays of the EDP are more than enough. I love it! To me this is a mix of Gris Charnel from BDK and Putain des Palaces from ELDO, super warm and cozy on a winter day. Feels like a hug. I love it.

Sprayed it on almost summer time and the first test spray was on my wrist. I only smell a strong "moth balls" scent and felt a bit disappointed. However on the 2nd day till the next days, I sprayed it inches away from my neck and that's when I smell the classic baby powder scent. Lasted 4 hours after walking under the sun.

this smells incredibly nice, not only powdery but also floral, luckily the rose is not intense which certainly doesn't bother me. I have a tester but will definitely buy it. I highly recommend this great scent

Clean, white floral musk with ylang ylang - this is quite a sickly, powdery fresh fragrance that I don't dislike but am very lukewarm about. Narciso fragrances do this better.

To my nose, very similar to chanel n5, slightly less sharp. Not a bad scent but doesn’t have the wow factor for me personally!

Great powder perfume. Actually this is just like Osez Moi by Chantal Thomass!

If you like Valaya exclusif, the dry down of this is very reminiscent of it .
