Ambre Platine

Patisserie W 🍪nderland 🥐🥖🥨 Ambre Platine in essence is a gourmand fragrance with patisserie accords. All the notes are blended into magical olfactory experience. Texture wise this fragrance is buttery smooth. I can only pick up some of my favorite notes faintly such as almond and cinnamon with milky vanila undertone after wearing it for a while. And I believe it will change again on another day. This is a highly addictive gourmand journey indeed. Ambre Platine reminds me a lot (in fact almost 99% from mid to drydown) of Sweetie Aoud from ROJA. I want to point out about this because surprisingly I love Ambre Platine way better than Sweetie Aoud (a big statement here from ROJA fan boy). Ambre Platine opens very pleasant and continue to progress stronger until the end for a satisfying olfactory journey . On the other hand Sweetie Aoud is very heady and overwhelming to my nose from the opening and continue to do so afterwards. Interestingly all the reviews says something different about Ambre Platine in very positive ways. On women's skin it turns out super sweet, while on my skin the sweetness is very tamed just the way I wanted. The other said that sweet vanila notes appear more prominent to the nose. And also it has a connection with other fragrance that I don't pick-up the same way. I can summarize that this fragrance has a perfect balance of everything it magically works on everyone differently in an excellent way. The favorite notes is distinguishable by the brain perception of the wearer only. #vscentorientreview

I've experienced many gourmands, but this one is definitely worth the purchase. It's more complex now that I keep wearing it and spending more time enjoying it. It really brings forward the elements I love in gourmands, at an elevated level. The best of Lira (caramel and vanilla), with amber, incense, resins and tonka bean. It’s a little bit syrupy and the sillage is beautiful. An ambery, caramel and incense trail wafts up to my nose. The cinnamon and caramel aren’t overpowering and it only heightens to the fragrance. But the secret star to this fragrance is definitely the pink pepper. It adds a sparkling, lifted feeling to the scent. 10/10 fragrance. I noticed that the fragrance also goes through very spicy, incensy wafts, to powdery-almond ones.

Beautiful gourmand composition! Opens with oranges and bergamot with prominent almonds that balances the brightness of the citruses. Then immediately i can detect a hint of jasmine and rose lingering around cinnamon and sticky sweet but not cloying caramel. It turns warmer as the base notes come up with the amber and tonka. The vanilla here is also noticeable and just adds depth to the warmth of amber and sweetness of the caramel. Overall great scent which has good projection. Longevity will update.

Although this fragrance is marketed as a gourmand, it immediately becomes very spicy on my skin. I believe the pink pepper accord is where some of that bitterness comes from. As the scent continues to develop, it dries down to a sweeter amber scent. I wouldn't personally classify this as a "gourmand." If you're looking for something that smells sweet and indulgent, this isn't a safe blind buy. It smells heavily of incense, with a touch of sweet amber during the drydown.

Guys this scent is phenomenal! To my nose Ambre Palatine smells like orange licorice note laced with the rich amber and caramel in the base. Beautifully blended and smells sophisticated. It leans gourmand but isn't really a gourmand in the sense that you could imagine eating this. But it is so good and such a unique fragrance to me. The performance is also quite good with a lasting power of 8-12 hours on me and a moderate to strong sillage.

Love it so much! This is me in a bottle! It warms you up from the inside out. Truly like a soft blanket yet its not weak. Lasted 6 hours plus on my skin. This is what I was hoping Grand Soir will smell like. I find personally find GS too much masculine leaning for my taste, bit this one's is perfect. Its giving Hermessence Ambre Narguile vibes. It will always be in my collection.

First impression:Orange, pepper, caramel, vanilla and amber is what I get here. Orange and amber has been done a thousand times but this is a real stunner. It's all blended together so well it feels like they belong together. Quality perfumery.

A really nice smooth and sweet smelling offering. You can tell it’s extremely well blended. Amber, almond and vanilla are prominent. Reminds me off Armani prive ambre eccentrico.

hmmm... Unfortunately, this fregrance is not sweet on my skin.That is so spicy than I thought it was. I can't feel sweet dessert scent from it. I don't intend to buy bottle ! Addition This fregrance's last note reminds me incense-sticks. (called SENKO,color is deep green,to use for funeral ceremonys in Japan) So i don't want to use incense-like perfums. Amble Platin is incence type,i thought.

I get a bit of a sun screen or moisturising cream vibe from this. None of the notes seem to blend together and it comes across messy and not very well blended. Weird to me and not to my liking.

Wtf happened to this one? It’s got the most beautiful notes. That should have made a beautiful perfume. But no. The opening few minutes is very nice but then it’s weak and smells like that crappy paraffin smell some of these kind of perfumes put out. This perfume could be amazing if .....actually nah it can’t. There’s no saving it . It’s terrible

This is overwhelmingly LICORICE to my nose. There’s nothing sweet. It’s a very disappointing blind buy but I’ll give it another sniff in a few months.

I have wanted to sample Amber Platine for so long and finally bit the bullet. I...am sorely disappointed. I am not sure why no one else has mentioned this, but it smells like a weak shadow of Killian's Black Phantom. A phantom of Black Phantom (you're cringing but c'mon, I had to). There is nothing memorable or unique about this fragrance. It's hardly high quality and nowhere near worth the asking price. I don't quite understand where the "amber" comes into play, either. I hate to be so negative so I will try to end this review on a positive note: the cinnamon briefly brought me back to the first time I smelled Givenchy's now discontinued non-gourmand-but-totally-gourmand Organza Indecence, which smelled like the most lovely, airy cinnamon-dusted donut...

Way overpriced, get Kisses Rain Renier , smells same at fraction of the price.
