Rose d'Encens

This is a WOW! The nicest blind-bind fragrance I've purchased in quite some time. A lovely woman on a merchandise re-seller site sold this to me for under $200 USD x 65ml bottle minus a few sprays. I cannot fully put my feelings and thoughts about this perfume into words. Upon initial application, Rose d'Encens transported me to a special place. The perfume's opening is nothing short of olfactory utopia. The notes are detectable but supremely well blended. Opens with an unmistakable bit of tart berries, definitely initial citrus. Within minutes, the loveliest, gentle, young rose fragrance emerges along with a perfect balance of church incense. There's rose, frankincense, myrrh, labdanum, etc. Tonka lends a wee-bit of greenness to the fragrance. Vanilla keeps the fragrance sweet (but not TOO sweet). Rose d'Encens is arid, a bit powdery and dry. Lands very close-to-the-skin after 60-90 minutes. This stuff is glorious, it really is. Performance is stellar. Initially silage is moderate. Cannot stop sniffing my hand & wrist. Even my husband commented on how lovely I smelled. Love. Love. Love.

This perfume is beautifully blended that it eliminates the small things that can be off putting to some, like the smokiness of incense and sweetness that rose gives. This a well balanced blend of tart fruits, incense and rose and there's nothing that stands out on its own here and you can smell everything as one. Its like all these notes here create one solid piece of note that is unisex, versatile and projecting. But this one is not for play. A bit mature i'd say 28+. Great for smart casual to formal setting.

One little spray from a tiny tester and this is projecting like mad! The rose and incense smell natural and beautiful. I would wear this to the Met Gala.

Very Unique Rose Fragrance, I smelled so many rose fragrances but this one I cant even really compare it to anything. I want to say I can smell Patchouli even though its not listed, Rose, a little bit of woodiness, it a bit powdery as well as incensy. It leans more mature masculine in my opinion. I dont smell much raspberry, may be a bit of black current.

Rose D'Encens by Lorga Parfums is an interplay of the majestic rose and regal frankincense. The opening is bright, fruity and sweet yet with a distinct acidic tonality to it. The richness and the sensuality of the rose is combined with tart notes of blackcurrant and raspberry almost like candied violet and rose petals. The headiness of the blackcurrant dominates on my skin and competes with the rose for the spotlight. At the heart of the fragrance the ethereal veil of incense and labdanum imbues the bed of roses with its resins and smoke. The scented haze is serene and atmospheric. As a result you get a beautifully spicy rose ensconced in the warmth and comfort of amber and vanilla. I simply cannot get enough of the drydown of Rose D'Encens once the blackcurrant softens and the rose beckons in the glowing arms of amber and incense. I have never been fond of vanilla and usually avoid it in perfumes, but it is so incredibly well-blended that I am in awe. The vanilla is sensually creamy with just the right amount of gourmand combined with the powderiness of tonka bean which brings it all together for hours and hours of pleasure.

VELVET. straight up rose with some opening incense notes all very balanced. A bit of bergamot. I can't find any vanilla or tonka. Not overtly sexy or flirty. More like a second date scent. Expensive smelling but not office worthy or wedding attire. Hmm. This is nice though. This is very nice.

Absolutely beautiful. Incredibly similar to Tauer Incense Rose. The Lorga has a fruity note that is missing in the Tauer.
