Blue Flame

First impression is that this perfume gives me vibes from BR540 and Erba Gold without smelling like them. It has a citrusy, fresh opening with a small blast of ginger that transforms into a fruity floral mango/jasmine mix. The notes are blended in a way that makes them a little hard to distinguish, but they are still very clear - if that makes sense. It's a little sharp and loud in the beginning but it's still balanced by some sweetness. This sharpness changes along the way and gives it a more tropical, warm feeling but it maintains its initial freshness quite some time. Citrusy notes often disappear quickly on me, but with this one they stay longer than normal. Along the development I keep asking myself if this is masculine on me or not. Maybe the opening is the most masculine because when the amber, musk and subtle oud shows, it's much more unisex, maybe even lightly feminine leaning. The oud is definitely there, but not in a bad way in case you're "scared of oud". It's not a typical fruity perfume to me, it has many layers, and to be honest: this a perfume I've found the most difficult to describe in a way that best fits my experience with it. EDIT: After letting the bottle mature for a few months, it behaves much smoother and the notes that were a bit harsh and masculine leaning has become more feminine leaning. Longevity is very good, sillage above moderate, but I've found that the performance differ quite alot regarding how much you apply. More for more, less for less kind of. I had one spray on each wrist, a few behind ears and neckline including on my shirt. Skin scent after 9 hours. On fabric it sat much longer, type still there ready for the wash machine. I tested it in cooler weather and I think it will perform very different in warmer weather.
