Lavender Pachouli

This perfume has a beast performance on me, strong, lasts forever and has a decent sillage. It opens up very strong saffron and patchouli with lavender in the background. You can smell the oud early on, but it's a pleasant oud that's not in your face or "dirty smelling". It does have a metallic dimension to it, but it's not overpowering, more mineral or warm stone like. The strong opening notes stays for hours and hours, not giving way for any coconut or musk until the very end - and that end is in the next day. It doesn't go away with washing and it sits on your clothes until next Christmas. This is how I picture a wild faun in the woods will smell. It leans masculine on me, but I think that if I spray it much, much lighter it might perform milder - type spray in the air and step into the mist. I tried layering it to make it more feminine, but the perfume has so strong ingredients that they just overpower whatever comes near. If you love strong, woody, saffron with a touch of lavender with a backbone of oud, this one's for you - it's a powerhouse and very good quality perfume.
