Exudation: Exaltation

I came across this brand during a Black History Facebook fragrance swap, and I have been so amazed by some of the scents, especially this one. When I grabbed the sample sprays (10 ml), I was told that the brand was on hiatus but would eventually and hopefully return. Add me as someone who hopes they make it back onto the scene. Exudation is green and fresh, a rarity in a landscape where fresh is often synonymous solely with citruses. Instead of the usual citrus, the perfumer used this wide open-air mint that evokes large gasps of air on a mountain top and does not just lean into the typical mentholated feel of cheaper mint. The green fig that serves as the center of the scent is milky and balsamic in a way that cleans the palate; think of the green rawness of vanilla bean pods. The longevity is 6 hours plus. I really enjoyed this, but I am a bit disappointed that I currently have only 10 ml to use.
