Feraud Sunshine Eau d'Ete

This is the one I`m always looking for and can`t ever find..discontinued.. Makes me reminiscence about the summer in my 20s when I used to wear it - it was so light; I recall fruity musk and white flowers, nothing overpowering, but very interesting and perfectly suited for summer days. Love the bottle too. I kept it, but can`t get any smell out of it anymore..

January 2021 Ok, so i am sitting here at home during this cold winter day with a lot of snow outside and yet i have this bottle, reminiscent of the sun and even the fragrance itself is called "sunshine eau d ́ete", ironic, isnt ́it? But despite all i really enjoy this fragrance. I do not recall anymore how the original Feraud from 2004 in same looking bottle smelled like, but this one is really an epitome of sunshine: bright, light, and nice. It makes me feel happy and carefree somehow. I think, however it might be better worn during springtime, more like late spring (talking about northern european area), that ́s when it can be fully appreciated. But i think also during colder time of the year, like we have over here now with temperature -15C it can be quite good, i need to do a wear test. In all honesty it reminds me very much of a Gucci "Envy", but without the strong LOTV that is found in Envy. I even had to pull one of my Envy bottles out and make side to side comparison on both of my wrists. They are indeed very similar, but Feraud is more like an Envy ́s drydown, i would go even further and say that Feraud eau d ́ete would be like a "eau d ́Envy" to me, it ́s lighter version. On me the strongest notes are grapefruit, cherry blossom and musk, luckily i do not smell a lot of gardenia or pear, only in the opening, but the middle stage is all about musk and grapefruit and cherry blossom. Super happy to finally wear it after all these years that it has been hidden in one of my boxes and while i was planning to put it for sale/swap, i instantly changed my mind after wearing it. It ́s a treasure full of sunshine and happiness.

What i love about this fragrance is the grapefruit and angelica smell full of joy and sun - bitter, spicy, citrus and green at the same time. Very nice summer fragrance.
