Extreme Musk

Dunno what it dupes but I love it. If you like sweet, floral fragrances, especially rose, you may not regret getting this bottle. But I don't think it's a scent anyone can fall in love with. I usually wear vanilla, roses, fruits and caramel and I love Extreme Musk. Sells for around $15 in my area. For this, I get a sweet, rosey perfume that lasts around half a day. Most sillage is around the first 4-5 hours after which it starts fading slowly. I'd vote for this as an unisex fragrance. Smells sweet, smells floral but to me it's not a feminine/masculine scent. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

This smells so warm, comfortable, wonderful, without being offensive, like a sunny happy childhood. And lasts on my skin more than 24 hours. It remains as a wonderful skin scent for days, after showers and washes, as a very good base for other scents, making them more pleasant to smell. Maybe is ambergris what does that.

tl;dr: took me being sick but this is a surprisingly faceted and retro modern perfume for a drugstore purchase so it’s been a few months since I’ve worn this perfume, and originally I would’ve said this perfume was just a nicely stanky rose bomb that would fit on a worn down fur coat, which I like, but there’s something about this that just seemed kind of off to me in the first few times I’ve worn it. now, as of writing this, I’m down with a cold and I’m half congested, which is not the best time for a review, but I just sprayed it out of curiosity (and a habit for gauging my scent capacity) and wow is this something new. first hit. smelled VERY woody. like old sandalwood incense I’ve uncovered from an attic. there’s a sweetness to it that intrigues me. in the congestion I sense a bit more, and I spray it again onto the back of my hand. it’s sweeter, and less rosy. more caramel. maybe I’m smelling that ambergris-vanilla-patchouli combo. then I sniff the crook of my arm and now I see the ginger and oud-y notes. it’s warmly spicy and it just hits very well to my nose in this cold spell that my city’s currently going through. I used to just smell musk and rose here, but this actually has some interesting depth to it. I don’t really get Lily of the valley, but it kinda plays hide and seek with me and I’m not winning that game at the moment. idk if I would wear this in the near approaching spring and summer as it’s a very cold weather winter baby smell to me, but I would absolutely crack this open at night while I saunter around in a scrap of fabric that would make Bob Mackie extremely proud. for 20 bucks I think this is a really fun perfume, and maybe I’ll come back to this/add it to my current rotation.

This is such an intriguing fragrance. It’s sweet, intensely powdery, and I completely agree with the review below mine. It does smell like whitewash, especially when I get up close to my skin! But oddly enough, it’s not unpleasant. The rose takes center stage in this scent, standing out as the most prominent note to my nose. It’s warm and spicy, with a complexity that makes it captivating. When I smell it up close, the ginger has a surprising effect, it almost feels like it travels down my nasal cavity, similar to the sensation of inhaling actual spices. It’s a unique and interesting characteristic that adds depth to the fragrance. That said, I can’t agree with those who call this unisex. To me, it leans distinctly feminine, with its soft yet spicy profile. Overall, this is a unique and memorable scent that I really enjoy!

Bought this one for a nickle and a dime at the local TK Maxx and its unbelievable what you get for that price. A beautiful white packaging and a bottle with a perfect sprayer and a wooden cap that carries a strange caramelic musky powdery agarwood smell that I cannot place. It resambles not a single perfume that I know and is totally unisex. It is a very pleasant smell with a touch of smoke and a balanced sweetness. The performance is rather good and the linear smell is strange in a very nice way. Strange stuff that I like al lot. I'm gonna dive in this Paris brand for shure.

I've received a sample of Extreme Musk a good while ago and when i first sprayed it on my hand, it reminded me of whitewash, the "paint" used sometimes on walls or on the base of trees for protection against insects. Fast forward today, im getting a much nicer impression. I want to point out that this is a very delicate fragrance, strongly feminine leaning, even the website i got the sample from labeled it "for women". The heavy notes like Oud and Ambergris from the notebreakdown aren't there so don't be fooled into thinking its a heavy scent. I've often heard of fragrances described as "second skin" or "your skin but better" scents and i get that with Extreme Musk. With this fragrance i picture sleeping in the arms of a beautiful, angelic woman who put on a vanilla scented body powder. She is perfect in every way, someone like Lady Arwen from Lord of the Rings, pure and dreamlike, wearing a white silk nightgown. And she might have been just that...only a dream. The fragrance is powdery, musky with a soft vanilla or caramel underneath. Just a mellow hum of sweetness, delicate as a pillow. I'd not advice overspraying because due to the powdery density of the fragrance i see how it could bother the wearer. If i ever wish to purchase a fragrance to spray before going to sleep, for soothing purposes, this will be it for sure. It costs 20$ or less in my country.
