A new beauty icon has finally arrived: ELVES by @louisvuitton. This perfume captivates everything around it — I’d bet on it. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the name, but that doesn’t matter — the scent makes up for everything. From the very first spray, it pulls you in with a dangerously irresistible charm. We’re talking about a creamy, powdery, and soft tropical base, quite similar to City of Stars, but with luxurious floral notes instead of the usual citrus. This fragrance opens the door to a calm, pink-tinted world and leads you to the same magical dry-down. It’s a sour blend of flowers and tangy fruits — truly unisex, especially as it settles. The dry-down reminds me a lot of other Louis Vuitton creations. I’d even say it’s the best feminine fragrance from Louis Vuitton after Matière Noire and Étoile Filante. The opening is average — maybe even expected — but the dry-down? Absolutely stunning! I’d call it the most alluring scent from Louis. While it owes its longevity to Ambroxan, it leans heavily on powdery violet with a hint of glorious peach, making it both eye-catching and deeply attractive. In short: 10/10 fragrance

This fragrance is truly beautiful and has an impressive sillage, just one micro-spray, and it feels like the whole apartment is scented! 🤩 The opening bursts with juicy fruits, black currant and peach create a bright, sunny introduction. It even gave me a little Pacific Chill vibe at first , that same fruity freshness, but warmer and cozier. There’s a delicate spiciness from the ginger and cinnamon, adding a subtle twist without overpowering the composition. The rose here is modern and refined, nothing old-fashioned. It’s gently wrapped in coconut milk, giving the scent a soft, creamy, almost lactonic touch. The lily of the valley and violet add freshness and a light green-powdery nuance. In the drydown, I sense a kind of mineral quality ,probably coming from the patchouli paired with ambroxan, which also gives great lasting power. Despite that, the scent stays airy and smooth, never heavy. It’s definitely a multi-faceted, contemporary fragrance - elegant, polished, and crafted with great finesse. It feels stylish, comforting, and just a little bit magical.

I really enjoy the feminine DNA Louis Vuitton creates, and eLVes is another beautiful example of it. The opening is sharp, spicy, fresh, and slightly indolic, with white florals that feel almost a little animalic at first — but this phase fades quickly. After about 10 minutes, it softens into a very elegant floral aura with a creamy young rose, lily of the valley, violet, soft coconut, and subtle fruity sweetness from peach and blackcurrant. The patchouli adds a warm and slightly sensual depth without making the fragrance heavy. It’s not something groundbreaking or extremely unique, but it feels timeless, feminine, and very wearable. One of the few rose fragrances I could genuinely see myself wearing. The scent stays fairly close to the skin, yet creates a beautiful soft perfume cloud around you throughout the wear.

Cal Cologne is one of those rookie influencers. First, he bashed Elves LV, which I had sprayed on my daughter for school to test . Her teacher and PE teacher were dying to know what fragrance she was wearing, seven hours after she got into the car, and it was still projecting beautifully. Such a newbie, honestly. Now he’s back bashing these new PDMS. People need to stop listing to these lads and try it for yall selves. 🤷🏾♂️ of course its subjective, but these tic tokers knows not one fook about fragrances. I’ve been in the fragrance game since the days when Hiro and Marc were leading the YouTube scene, back when Coach Rob told his famous Aventus courthouse story. Those guys really knew their fragrances inside and out, unlike these 19–25-year-old TikTok influencers. I really miss the old-school reviewers like JR too.

I have wanted to try a LV perfume for a while. However, they are super expensive; when I did some research on why they are so much, the info I uncovered really annoyed me. Very elitest. Very snobby. But heh, that's life. I told myself I wouldn't want to buy them even if I had the money on matter of principle. But what a filthy, sexy-smelling hypocrite I am. Because I was able to get a bottle of this and it is one of the best,classiest smells I've ever owned. It's quite simply...amazing. You can faintly smell the peach, but it's balanced so well with florals and a bit of spice that my gosh...if you get the chance to try it, please do. I smell like a million bucks.

I am really enjoying this fragrance. I'm wishing I would've purchased the larger bottle because this is so easy and versatile. It's beautiful but the notes and accords that are upvoted here are not really what I'm smelling. This is extremely well blended so that might be why. I don't get casis or coconut. In the opening I get peach, rose and an elegant soapiness. As it dries down the peach disappears on me and I get the cinnamon, a hint of ginger and a soft patchouli that is absolutely gorgeous! This dry down stage is my favorite. It's sexy and classy at the same time. It's addicting and really long lasting.

FINALLY!!! A blackcurrant perfume that hits the mark! I had a Matiere Noire and sold it because it simply didn't suit me, too syrupy, dense and with a funky,skanky,barnyard note (at least on my skin). This one, on the other hand, is a fresh one with just enough juiciness, sweetness, complexity and depth. I am in love!!! It does remind me of Stella Eau de parfum by Stella McCartney which I also love. Stella with a touch of black currant. This is a very potent perfume and two spray will fill the room and last all day. Overspray wil probably make you nauseous. I have the same experience with Stella.

I tried to guess the notes when smelling it. It feels very creamy but not powdery. I couldn't think of anything it has. Then checked the notes. So now I know how a "coconut milk" smells in perfumery. That's the cream here. Maybe also violet (based on other scents only, not the flower) and only because of seeing it in the list, (some) rose -- I have to say I wouldn't have guessed the rose blindly. Also, it becomes more apparent later when creaminess fades a bit. But now I see it and it must be the best rose I've ever smelt in a perfume. Nice mixture, very nicely done and enjoyable a lot.

Tried the official 2ml vial today after given by the SA. Beuatiful purple liquid and its very feminine leaning, not much unisex to begin with unless you love floral scents......for my noobie nose its basically prominent of roses mixed with lily of the valley vibes in between (almost like fruityness of Attrape-reves mixed with lily of the valley from Rhapsody extrait and some roses from Roses Des Vents in between)! Easily liked by most of my female colleagues in office!👍🏻 Unique? Not so....i keep getting the Rhapsody vibes with roses but it is what it is: brand name LV

My very cool mom owns this so I'm writing this review in her room as I doused myself in this beautiful fragrance. This is such a well blended peach and floral scent that is suitable for all seasons. The cap smells very rose forward but the initial spray envelops you in peach that isn't sweet or cloying. After a while the rose and creaminess of the coconut comes forward which is the main highlight of this fragrance. The patchouli balances everything out and makes it more complex and sophisticated. Great buy mom, I'll be stealing sprays of this

This is definitely dependable designer luxury. Smells like something that pops into your mind when someone says "expensive fragrance from Saks". Wearable and fresh while simultaneously dark and mysterious. Very versatile and just smells really classic and appealing. Reminds me a bit of Layali and Gris Dior. I could see rich moms buying the 200mL size to just spray around the house or use as a daily scent. The masculine wearers that lean toward scents like Reflection, Dior Homme, Man Rose, and POAL might find this lovely.

For me, this smells like a mix between Stellar Times and Les Sables Roses - if you took the some of the oud out of Les Sables Roses. This is very rose forward, complemented by the peach and black currant. I detect the coconut milk early on. At first, I did not like this at all. However, the more I smelled it, the more I liked it. It has evolved into me finding this to be absolutely delightful. If you don’t like this at first, give it some time to grow on you... I’d rate this 9 out of 10.

The typography is pure cringe, but the scent itself is surprisingly awesome. It smells vastly different on skin, so make sure you try it on yourself first. This one basically shares the same creamy, tropical, and powdery base as City of Stars. That one opens with citrusy, mandarin-like top notes, while this one leans more rosy. Still, they both have that almost identical creamy, powdery base. If you love City of Stars, there’s a 99% chance this will be your kind of perfume.

I gifted this perfume to my wife .. Unfortunately she didn't like it I don’t know why she didn’t like it When i ask her she told me i hate some notes on this bottle but i don’t know what is notes exactly Anyway from me i like it, I can smell DNA Feminine LV fragrances in this bottle , Peach and Bulgarian Rose and Patchouli this combo from Top to base like chypré fragrances i like this way 👌🏻 Excellent Longevity Maybe Someone Getting Block Nose from Ambroxan ..

To my nose this fragrance is summer in a bottle. It’s fruity, floral, woody and a bit spicy but also fresh at the same time. Just enough sweetness to make it more feminine leaning. I enjoy it more than Attrapez-Reve, which I also own. I don’t find it similar to the suggested ”reminds me of” fragrances listed. It stands by its own. It’s a crowd pleaser for sure but I don’t mind that. Worth trying before you buy a full bottle. To me it’s a 10/10.

Okay ELVes from LV is beautiful it’s a gorgeous rose fragrance I have a couple samples of it and I have smelt this twice at 2 different stores I was at honestly I’m going to get my hands on this one it’s very different from other ones on the market if I had to compare it to other rose based perfumes think of atomic rose but less dark and sensual. This perfume also lasts a long time and the projection was nice :)

Beautiful fruity rose, slightly sweet and creamy with the typical LV freshness. It’s like a denser Pacific Chill but with roses and stronger. The roses here are one of the best I’ve smelled. It reminds me of a fragrance from the 90s or early 00s but modernized, Babydoll ? it will come to me. The fragrance is 100% feminine, it’s called Eles not ElVes, which is Elles (they in feminine).. terrible spelling.

It’s really good, great release from Lv, it mostly smells like luxury hand soap or a soft floral fresh white tee shirt, it’s a little bitter from that black currant and slightly fruity from the peach, I would say it leans more feminine but a confident guy could definitely wear this, I would say it’s more of a daily fresh scent than anything else.

Beautiful fragrance. To my nose, it’s picking elements of Armani Si + Fenty body cream + Stellar Times. The amber and rose are predominant. Creamy, somewhat syrupy. Excellent sillage. Will test for longevity. For now, I am very pleased. That price tag though... Edit: has something reminiscent of Etoile Filante as well.

this was a pain in the ass to search up, they could have not done that stupid thing with the L and V. has a very "spa-like" scent especially with the rose (which, i honestly mistook for lotus at first) very nice and very clean, but I have no clue where people are smelling coconut milk. Maybe my skin is weird.

I’ve got a funny nose. To me, this smells very forestry, almost piney. That must be the patchouli. But there’s a crisp sweetness to it too, nothing super sweet like tuberose, but classy sweet like peach. Very unique and glorious. The Hobbits’ fave!!!

This is such an elegant, fresh and beautiful fragrance for any time of year. I love this when I get dressed up and want to exude confidence. Very special, classy and clean scent which smells like nothing else in my collection. Love 💕

It feels classy and grown‐up, kinda like a fresh bouquet but polished and modern at the same time. Some people love how elegant and layered it smells, while others think it’s a bit safe or not crazy memorable for the price.

The cinnamon scent could have been toned down a bit. It's a different and memorable scent, and to me, there's also a dominant rose scent. My overall review is nice and different.

I tried it today to me it’s very similar to heure des absences yes very soft and feminine. I already have heure des absences so I don’t think I will add it now to my collection

This is a beautiful rose scent!!! One of my favorites from the brand besides City Of Stars you smell a lot of rose that soft lily of the valley and ambroxan it’s really good

I tested it at the LV boutique. I originally went there to try Pacific Chill, but I didn’t like it. I applied several fragrances on my skin. I couldn’t test many, because the consultants were hovering over me, and I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. eLVes appealed to me the most. It feels as if Armani Sensi, Armani Mania, Guerlain Champs-Élysées (EDT), YSL Baby Doll, Rochas Alchimie, and Givenchy Amarige were all taken together, with the addition of Sophia Grojsman’s delicate peaches - and probably several other legendary perfumes from the 1990s–2000s. Everything was shaken together, the heaviness removed (many of the perfumes mentioned were, in fact, created by the incomparable Jacques Cavallier), the dosage refined with great precision, lightened by using high-quality modern materials and ingredients, and then poured into bottles. There is both tartness and sweetness, powderiness and florals, a slight bitterness, warmth and coolness, a hint of astringency, creaminess, honeyed nuances, and even nostalgia. Everything is perfectly balanced and nothing screams. The notes feel joyful and playful on the skin, leaving a soft trail behind. I perceive this fragrance as powdery, creamy, floral, and fruity. It doesn’t break down into individual notes - which is exactly what makes it interesting. Gentle, non-intrusive, like a veil. What stops me from buying it is, of course, the price. I won’t even buy an official sample - I’m afraid of falling in love.

So, hear me out... I bought this at the beginning of 2025 and wore it a couple of times but left it aside because I have so many bottles of perfume, it got somewhat forgotten... Fast forward to a couple of days ago when I wore it this weekend and I must say, it’s a very pretty fragrance... No idea why it is called elves other than the L and the V being right next to each other in this particular word and being a play on words? Elves (Tolkien’s Elves) were mostly woodland creatures that stood tall and proud and were lovers of nature and lovers of the sea as well. This fragrance is nowhere close to what its name implies... But it’s lovely and feminine and centered on a rose that goes sweet and syrupy as time goes. The black currant note is very prominent on my skin and I like that. Paired with the rose, it goes fruity/sharp with a juicy/boozy aspect to it. Not too boozy, just boozy enough...The sweetness comes in a little later with that coconut note. I’m not a fan of coconut but here, it lends support, no more. No sun tan lotion here at all, thank goodness!! And thankfully, the patchouli is non-existent here, at least, on my skin and I’m grateful for that. As for the lily of the valley, I smell it, maybe? Way in the background??? All in all, it is nice but it does not blow my mind, honestly. I was very happy to get that bottle a few months back but now, the excitement has fizzled and I’m liking it a little less...

I don't know much about the notes like coconut or “creamy” so I’ll just list what my first impression was. I got a sample of it and from the opening, it smelled extremely sour/spicy. I thought it was a citrus note from how rancid it was. It was eye watering in the same veins as rubbing alcohol. When I checked the notes, I believe that was the ginger as the top note. Another one could be the cinnamon giving me the Cinnamon Challenge level of smoky, powdery. Now that it has dried down, the peachiness comes out immediately. As a non-gourmand lover, it was lightly sweet like ambroxan or amber. The ambroxan and peach combination works so well together. They work like a dream team. I quite like how cozy it smells. Definitely will become my new night scent after I used up the LV California Dream sample. I know the peach is the top note and the ambroxan is the base note. However, I get the light floral scent as I dig deeper into sniffing my arm like a dog. Just huffin’ and puffin’. The rose is clearly the main star, but the lily of the valley and violet are stellar in making the light scent stay. It reminds me of the iris note in Glossier You. It’s not in your face at all so I got away with not giving people headaches. I only sprayed one spritz before school just in case I go “beast mode” like a middle school boy. I’m so glad I made that choice. The perfume lasted quite a while with not more than two feet projection.

Just tried it today at the Louis Vuitton store in Atlanta but they wouldn’t let me see the bottle. They went and sprayed it on a card (in the back of their store) like it was a secret of state 🙄🙄🙄 it’ll launch in stores and online mid-month, I believe. Anyways...I found it to be beautiful and strong! Definitely feminine, fruity, FLORAL and spicy but in the way a rose can be spicy. The rose note is very prominent and the peach note was there too. I didn’t detect the patchouli much...maybe it is in the background or maybe it just adds strength and depth to the fragrance as a whole? As for that coconut note, I didn’t smell it...but this is just based on me, sniffing the card they sprayed...I do not know what it smells like on my skin, unfortunately... I have preordered it and will come back for more descriptions once I have it.

Testing a sample of this and I think it's going to be a love. The opening is gorgeous. Floral, slightly fruity, with a silky texture I associate with cashmeran. It's very close to the scent I've been seeking for almost three years. It's stronger than I was expecting, given previous experience with this house. I used three sprays, whereas I think 2 will be sufficient. I'm hoping that the extra spray is responsible for the one negative...as the dry down started, it morphed toward Christmas candle spices on my skin. I guess this is the cinnamon note others picked up. That faded after an hour or so, returning what it started out as. Seems to have impressive strength and longevity.

Sometimes a fragrance doesn't smell incredible close up but leaves such an undeniably intoxicating sillage. This is that kind of fragrance! Up close it is kind of a generic fruity musk, but it has such a wide bubble of musky woody fruity beauty. I haven't gotten a chance to wear this out and about yet, but I am sure this will be one to garner compliments. One spray really is enough to smell great all day, and I can imagine that 2 or 3 would ensure everyone in a 10 foot radius will smell you!

Smells very similar to the other feminine LV releases kinda like a medley mix of florals and tart fruitiness don’t love it enough for a bottle but is probably the second or third best female LV to Matiere Noire and Attrape Reves kinda basic but that stuff’s drydown is gorgeous, can’t say the same for eLVes, it’s long lasting prolly cause of the Ambroxan but is more of a violet heavy powder floral

The first time I tested, I wasn't really into this one. On my second try, I got a lot more of the freshness and rosiness and I like it much better, even though I'm not that big on rose notes. However, something in this in similar to my dad's aftershave and to me this fragrance leans masculine. Too masculine? I'm not sure yet.

This is a journey, for sure. The super fresh, fruity opening isn't too impressive but then the rose comes out and it suddenly becomes so elegant and, dare I say, sophisticated. A beautiful summer rose! So glad I tried it. Longevity on me is fine but I would definitely like to overspray had the price been friendlier.

I went to LV store with my 3 colleagues from office. We are all 30+ years old men. We all liked the scent even if smells like feminine. That rose is really tempting and its good mixture with fruits. I believe this is night fragrance for man.

The feminine version of meteore. Not bad but nothing crazy worth dropping full bottle money on. Projects and lasts the same as meteore as well. around 6-8hours with good projection. 7/10

Warm, spicy, and floral Loved it, but it leans very feminine. Smelled it in Sweden beautifully blended and luxurious, but not the best.

Huge miss from LV. Best way to describe it is the smell of baby wipes with a hint of burning plastic. Do not recommend. 2/10

So I own this bottle as of yesterday and I have to say I love it, white florals with some sweetness that dries down to a completely unisex end of Ambroxan, ginger, and perhaps milkiness... 10/10 but it does not smell whatsoever like peche mirage, I get no peach note really in this in the first place, to say it smells like peche mirage or bitter peach (which I own and can do a side by side comparison of) is insane, different noses aside

Very linear scent as it settles. Pleasant, rosy-fresh with a powdery aspect, I don’t get any coconut or Attrape-Reves in this. Not my favorite from LV but you will smell good wearing this. Weak performance imo - about three hours with some projection only the first hour.

If you like an unapologetic rose with ambroxan then this is a great LV for you. These are the official notes listed on the LV website: Key notes: Centifolia Rose from Grasse Ambroxan Lily of the Valley Patchouli I have no idea why fragrantica and parfumo has coconut/coconut, ginger, etc listed but I definitely do not get these notes unfortunately- people are somehow stating they are probably because they read it and are sensing it as a phantom note. Anyways, unless you are a die hard rose person, I'd skip this. I think a more mature woman could pull this off just fine.

Got the 200ml as a blind buy and don't like it overall. Let me keep it very simple, it smells like a realistic rose mixed with soap. Surprisingly the scent is not very sweet, and I have a hard time detecting coconut, and any of the fruits. Seems like a huge letdown, and surprised this was released as it is. I have a strong feeling this will get discontinued sooner than later.

My nose is very sensitive to blackcurrant so that may be why this one really did not smell great to me. This website will tell you the patchouli is not that noticeable but it definitely is. If you are not a fan of heavy blackcurrant or patchouli, stay clear of this one. Your nose and wallet will thank you.

No thanks. This opens like a 19-year-old fresh out of the shower, he's wearing a T-shirt, and you decide to stick your nose in his clear-deodorant-sticked pits. AKA slightly musty, humid, masc cologned, inoffensive. The dry down is a unisex and rosy fruit-chouli to my nose. Make of that what you will.

This a "feminine lv imagination" imagine the soapiness of imagination and add alot of rose to it Edit- after wearing this for a few hours i had to scrub it off. Way too floral and powdery for me.

This smells like Symphony and Attrape-Reves had a baby....but either one of those is wayyyyyyy better than Elves, sooooo glad I just got a sample.....not their best offering to be sure

Pretty disappointing for an LV release. This leans about 80/20 on the feminine side and is extremely floral. Hard pass for me as a man.
