Symphony

Symphony is a very simple formula that has been refined to perfection. Think a Lexus or Acura, a car built on a reliable platform but transformed into something higher end, yet still remains an excellent daily driver. The notes given on Fragrantica and by LV themselves in my opinion do not aptly describe how this perfume smells. It is considerably better than the sum of the three simple parts listed. LV would do better to not advertise Symphony in this way, instead describing it in terms of what it expresses. It's an expression of the concept of citrus, rather than a specific fruit. It's an expression of tartness, rather than "ginger". It turns an interesting shade of musky in the dry down, which isn't even listed as an accord. The impression one gets is that Symphony is entirely synthetic, which would account for the impressive performance, but so well made that even natural oils do not compare. Again, a straightforward set of ideas given the chance to be fully realized. There is one more critical aspect of this ridiculously expensive perfume's very simple demeanour. It is perhaps one of the best layering perfumes in existence. It is to citrus what Arabian perfume oils are to oud. LV's Pur Santal/Oud/Ambre go for >$1500, but this is less than half as much, punching above its own weight in the same kind of duty. If you want to add the concept of citrus to a perfume that doesn't already have it, or bolster existing notes that may not last too long for you, layer a spray of Symphony and it will play to its name like nothing else. Time to address the elephant in the room, Khadlaj Island Dreams. In my room, it sits right next to Symphony, pressing its proverbial tusks into it. The truth is, Island Dreams smells identical to Symphony for the first five to ten minutes. After this, Symphony retains its fizzy brightness, while Island Dreams becomes somewhat sweeter and less citrusy. Anyone considering Symphony should first buy Island Dreams to see if it suffices, and to see if they like the DNA. For me, in comparison to Symphony, I found Island Dreams to not perform as well, not have as pleasant of a dry down, and it didn't generate the same beautiful layering, so I was content to play LV's game. Island Dream's existence is welcomed, if only as a means to show that it's impossible to judge a perfume off notes alone, but its existence does not detract from the wonderful piece of perfumery that Symphony is. Lastly, the bottle is lovely. A nice bottle is important, satisfying our sense of sight, sound, and touch on a product that otherwise only satisfies one sense. The late Frank Gehry, whose architecture everyone has witnessed at least once, even if unknowingly, truly made a wonderful little trinket. A small, unnecessary touch, but that is ultimately true of perfumery in general. Smell: 20/20 Versatility: 10/10 Performance: 10/10 (10h+) Value: 3/5 Bottle: 5/5 Verdict: 48/50

This fragrance is a mystery in itself. And yet, it comes from a world far removed from my usual tastes: I’m drawn to gourmand, cocooning scents—fragrances you wear like a second skin, warm and comforting. Almost by chance, at Louis Vuitton, while purchasing a bag, my eyes wandered to the perfume bottles. Initially, Étoile Filante was the one I had my heart set on: luminous, enigmatic. Then I made the mistake of smelling Symphony. A beautiful mistake. With the first breath, my mind faltered. An olfactory explosion—impossible to categorize, impossible to name. My eyes closed, then opened wide: a spark in my gaze, a quiet smile on my lips, a kind of reverence before a scent so radiant it felt almost unreal. Divine. With time, everything became clear. This fragrance carries its name with uncanny precision. Symphony is not merely a perfume—it is a composition. An architecture of accords, each note answering another, never competing, never overwhelming. The experience reminded me of those suspended moments—sitting in the passenger seat of a car or on a train, headphones on, the mind drifting—when a song you deeply love suddenly begins to play. A melody you could listen to on repeat, sending the same shivers through you every time, because of the way its nuances are so exact, so alive, almost visceral. That same emotion lives on the skin: the glimmer in the eyes, the instinctive smile, the quiet thrill. The wonder that comes from encountering something beautiful—something you cannot explain, only feel. From an olfactory standpoint, Symphony is a feat. Its construction is remarkably clear, its longevity exceptional, its sillage expansive yet never aggressive. It envelops without overpowering, captivates without ever tipping into excess. And most importantly, it avoids the pitfall of overly “clean” compositions: no harshness, no artificiality, no trace of that detergent-like sterility. Yes, I nearly fainted when I saw the price. But I gave in. Because some perfumes are not simply purchased—they choose you. And what remains is a question that borders on the metaphysical for a fragrance lover like myself: how was it possible to create something so precise, so luminous, so timeless?

Here's the thing with this fragrance, I recently thought I got bored of it and took it off my list to buy. But then I went and tested about 50 perfumes in stores that same day put them all in zip lock bags on test strips and stuff so the smells didn't mix and wrote the names on all the test strips... and just like my first impression of this fragrance I fell in love with it again because it always beats all the other fragrances I try during that same day and I keep saying it but it's quality and so unique for a fresh citrusy scent. Like just when you think it's boring and not unique, you go smell a bunch of other fresh fragrances and then compare it to symphony again and yet symphony stands out as being so different from anything else out there in terms of citrus goes. And i'm glad I keep coming back to this scent over and over again, yes my mind changes sometimes but one thing this fragrance will keep doing it winning me over every time I smell it and compare it to other fragrances. But i'm not saying others will agree with me, i'm not saying if you let random people in public test like 50 different fragrances I doubt they'd mutually all agree symphony is the best it's something just personally I can appreciate having tested over 3000+ fragrances in my life and knowing the quality difference and what makes up good perfumery. People that are new to fragrances typically love fruity, gourmand or aquatic scents...sure they love citrus too but they'd probably say something like dylan blue, bleu de chanel, acqua di gio, chanel allure homme sport, etc..those types of citrus. In my opinion there's no citrus so far i've tried that smell like symphony it's definitely got it's own unique identity although I wouldn't say it's groundbreaking either. Most people would say a unique fragrance is something that really steps outside the box and does something different, but it doesn't have to do that to be unique actually. Megamare was a unique aquatic scent, symphony is a unique citrus and l'eau papier was a unique musky scent and then there's stuff like PDM sedley which is a unique bleu fragrance.

I wanted to offer a counter-perspective on this incredible fragrance. This isn't meant to invalidate those who pick up on "cleaning product" associations, but rather to push back against the narrative that Symphony is a "simple" or "cheap" composition. The magic of Symphony lies in its ability to sustain a remarkably pure, ethereal citrus experience over a long duration. Formulating a heavy, dark fragrance with massive projection is practically a solved science at this point. Achieving that same tenacious performance with an airy, radiant, and weightless profile is incredibly difficult, and a testament to Jacques Cavallier’s mastery. To address the "cheap" allegations directly: if you look at the GCMS data, this formula relies on a massive overdose of highly expensive, premium materials. It features something to the tune of 30% Helvetolide, ~19% Ambrox Super, and nearly 18.5% Paradisone. These are supported by a substantial dose of other captive musks, alongside top-tier citrus naturals and Ginger CO2 extract. Because of this, the composition is exceptionally expensive to compound—often more so than formulas heavily reliant on naturals—and nearly impossible to accurately replicate. These high-end synthetics are proprietary, reserved exclusively for specific houses and master perfumers. Clone brands forced to substitute standard Hedione or Hedione HC will never achieve the blinding, radiant transparency of genuine Paradisone (arguably Firmenich's finest captive). The same goes for their attempts to mimic Helvetolide and true Ambrox Super. We all know the margins in luxury perfumery, but with Symphony, you are actually paying for a top-tier, highly expensive chemical formulation, masterful blending, premium presentation, and the sheer technical achievement of bottling pure, lasting radiance.

i bought this fragrance. its so good. of all the LVs i have smelled and owned (imagination, l'imminsite, ombre nomade, city of stars, les sables rose) this truly is the best one for me. its fresh, clean, and the grapefruit and begamot is so unbelievably good it makes you smell a bit edible, but it is not gourmand. its such a wonderful summer fragrance. every spray is an absolute masterpiece. lets ignore the price tag—this scent is GORGEOUS—it has a consistent citrus smell for 12+hours which performs so well too and over 24+ hours on clothes left at home (tested by me) it has a realistic grapefruit bergamot smell with a fizzy effect which fades with the ginger smoothly while mainting that bergamot and grapefruit smell. i wouldnt say its the best LV for dates, that would go to les sables rose for me. however, the scent profile of symphony is so good, i can wear it anywhere anytime and since i live in a tropical country this fragrance is PERFECT. this fragrance beats the iconic imagination by a mile. i like to wear this when im walking with someone special, when im out to run errands, its a pretty versatile scent. now lets consider the price, ts is freaking expensive yo, yes i can wear it anyrime anywhere but the guilt of spraying is just difficult to bear. so i wear it only when theres someone who i want to think i smell good, simple but unique and luxurious. its versatility can be compared to l'imminsite. this fragrance has exceptional performance, great smell and longevity and is hands down the BEST LV fragrance (khadlaj island dream doesnt come close) LV SYMPHONY — 10/10

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Symphony in fact does have a very simple note make up but a large note make up is not always what makes a fragrance smell better. Yes, Symphony is very expensive but at the same time fragrance is also a luxury.. Some folks are just willing to spend more on ones they particularly enjoy. While it’s price wards most people off I personally can truly find the moneys worth in Symphony.. From the late Frank Gehry’s absolutely gorgeous bottle design to the multi generational master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud working his absolute magic on the contents inside of this piece of art. Symphony bares inside some of the finest and most quality ingredients one could ask for in a fragrance. This is a stunning, pure citrus extrait and it proves itself as one in olfactory pleasure and staying power. From the opening of Symphony and to the later dry down you are met with a nose piercing euphoria. A citrus dominant fragrance truly cannot get much better than this. As far as the specific notes in Symphony it’s easy to capture.. Your senses are enthralled with a beautiful melody of grapefruit, bergamot, ginger and orange.. they all play off of each other magically. Pure quality and depth in each note creating a pure bliss smelling experience.

I never would’ve picked this up based on the notes alone, but luckily it came as a sample with a recent LV purchase — and my god, I fell in love instantly. To me, it doesn’t sit squarely in any one category — it’s citrus in theory but really it’s just fresh, effervescent, and warm. It has incredible longevity, especially when sprayed on clothing, and the dry down doesn’t stray far from the opening. It simply softens into a smooth, luminous skin-scent that feels effortlessly refined and warm. I own over a hundred fragrances, and yet this stands out as one of the most beautiful in my collection. Its charm lies in its uplifting simplicity — refined but unlike anything I’ve ever smelled. I get compliments every single time I wear it, and I love introducing it to others (while secretly enjoying that it’s not one of those overexposed, mainstream scents). If I had to paint it as a scene, it would be an elegant woman, freshly showered, sipping sparkling prosecco beneath citrus trees in the heart of spring. Inviting, radiant, clean, and gracefully effervescent. Not a trace of harsh alcohol — just pure, luminous beauty in a bottle.

Symphony is beautiful. The bergamot is muted in comparison to similar scents, such as Summer of ‘84 (not a dupe). Drydown is perfectly unisex in my opinion, the ginger in the opening leans towards it being slightly masculine initially. In my opinion it’s also more masculine leaning in the air upon initial spray. On skin though? Perfectly unisex. I can see how skin chemistry might make it seem more masculine or feminine leaning for some people, though. Longevity on skin is impressive, lasts all day easily. Very simple scent profile. I opted to go with Summer of 84 for a full bottle purchase as it is more what I was looking for, but I am not sad to own a decant of this. Also own the Montagne dupe (Harmony) and it’s virtually identical to Symphony, maybe a tinge more masculine leaning in the opening. Unisex drydown. Symphony performance is very slightly better (but not $600 USD better). The differences between the two are hardly noticeable, however. Definitely one to consider if you’re interested in this scent profile.

Three words to describe LV Symphony: Simple. Beautiful. Ethereal. I had been given samples from purchases in the past and I gave them to my fiancé dismissing it off and assuming it to be only for the ladies...One day not too long ago, I picked her up to run errands and learned she was wearing one of the samples of Symphony I gave her after I had asked what she had on. It sounds crazy, but I remember feeling somewhat jealous of how wonderful she smelled. On paper this leans slightly feminine but when I spray it on myself, I don’t think about it being feminine at all. The next day after smelling it on my fiancé, I found myself arriving at the parking garage of the mall closest to the Louis Vuitton store. I remember the time being 11:03am. About thirty minutes later, I got back into my car and unboxed my fragrance and sprayed it on. Moments later, I was overcome with joy. I told myself, “this is what life is supposed to be like”...I hope you have a good day.

As someone with quite an extensive collection, I gotta say... this could easily be my absolute #1 of all time. There is something ethereal about this one. It’s definitely a citrus, but it’s done so beautifully here that sometimes I don’t even pick up on the citrus at all. It’s not zesty or prickly. It’s smooth and luxurious. It’s also very interesting on me. Some days I get the base notes from the start. Some days I get the mid notes after a few hours. The top notes peek out here and there. It plays and sparkles all day long. It’s enveloping, cozy, not loud at all. Its non-offensive. Very appropriate for day time or office wear. It’s pleasant to everyone who has smelled this one me. Always a compliment getter. Longevity for a citrus is absolutely insane. 15+ hours on skin without reapplying. Hefty price tag? Absolutely. But so worth it in my opinion, as I only need 2-3 sprays for the whole day. This is the best from LV for sure.

I bought full bottle of Symphony LV. The perfume surprised me. Sweet, but not extremely sugary, citrusy and fresh. Opening is quite strong, but not sharp. Funny thing is, that after about four hours I couldn't smell the scent of this perfume that much on my skin, but my husband constantly repeated how beautiful they are. To me it becomes soft scent, but still noticeable. The dry down is also interesting. I don't know why, but instead of citrus I can smell floral and slightly soapy, but very nice and still fresh. I would say that Symphony is elegant and classy summer scent. It doesn't smell like cheap tutti frutti EDP or kitchen/ toilet cleaner so don't be afraid. Do not expect huge Wow, but if you want to buy simply fresh, elegant, summer, citrusy, stunning perfume with great longevity, quality and soft at the same time, that's Symphony. Do I regret? Never. I enjoy this perfume 🥰

Got a decanted sample first and ordered a full bottle shortly after. The opening smells lemony, after about 10-15 minutes grapefruit and ginger start coming through and it begins to smell like a delicious candied grapefruit. I don’t know how to explain it but it’s smells like a candid grapefruit without smelling sweet. Kinda unique, I own over a hundred of perfumes (mostly niche) and I don’t have anything quite like Symphony in my collection even amongst fresh citrusy fragrances. Symphony has no sharp edges, it’s very balanced and smooth, at the same time it’s an extrait so it also lasts and performs well. Projects like crazy in warm temperatures. Even when I go nose blind to it I keep receiving compliments from people around me. If anyone is looking for a reliable sample of Symphony, I got from Aromadeus.com I don’t know who else has them.

This is the freshie of my dreams. There is a sweetness to the citrus and ginger that you wouldn’t realize was there just by looking at the notes. I’ve heard it described as a sweet tart candy and I have to agree. I can smell it swirling around me for several hours after I spray. On skin, I notice the projection settles down around 2-3 hours. But, my clothes still smell fresh and citrusy at the end of the day. Oh, the compliments!! Even hours after application! I’ve blown through my sample and a decant. The price is ridiculous. I don’t care. I live where the temperature is above 80 degrees 8 months out of the year, so I’ll definitely get a lot of use out of this. This will be my next full bottle purchase. I love the cap! It reminds me of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, which has special memories for me with my son. Edit: Got it. Zero regrets.

A masterpiece. Stupidly expensive... but pay close attention and you’ll detect a lot more nuance than the few notes described here. The citruses ride a wave of Cascalone that is so perfectly blended; the watery-fruity-marine lift it brings to the mix makes it atmospheric. Signature LV white musks + ambroxan give the clean skin/laundry feel that is so luxurious and lingering. The ozonic aldehydes bring the sparkle, like opening a can of over-carbonated soda water. The maker (Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud) has spent a lifetime defining the fresh scent category. L’Eau d’Issey, Acqua di Giò, L’Immensité. He is it. If you think he made something called Symphony with only a handful of simple notes, then you aren’t paying close enough attention, except to the descriptions you’ve read on the internet.

Anyone saying this isn’t worth the price—or that you can just buy a dupe—hasn’t spent enough time with it. The three notes listed don’t come close to telling the full story. This fragrance evolves beautifully, and somehow gets better with every hour you wear it. Beyond being the most complimented fragrance I’ve ever owned, the performance is unreal. I wore it to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving, and my mom became obsessed because the scent lingered on the blanket I used for nearly a week. It’s an extrait, so you only need a small amount, and the refill makes replacing it much more affordable. I’ve been stopped by well over 20 strangers to ask what I’m wearing, and I’ve never found anything that captures the same magic—especially in the dry down. For me, it’s worth every penny.

After finally trading for a bottle of this stuff, I understand the rave. Just like everyone else, I saw the price tag, and said FUCK NO! I tried it before many times, but not worth the money... until I got a bottle. And well, it changed everything. I feel like the top dog owning a bottle of this, everything about this fragrance is perfect... well apart from the cap breaking in transit, however was an easy fix with glue. It lasts and projects beautifully, easily 10-14 hours of longevity with room filling projection using only a couple sprays. Perfect fresh, clean and mass appealing, equally unisex, so anyone can pull it off. The fragrance is amazing, like a candied grapefruit. Blending perfectly, just like the name, an orchestral symphony. The most perfect fragrance ever. 9.8/10

The first time I smelled it, I genuinely thought, “Holy shit... what the fuck is this!?” The note list looks extremely simple on paper, but whatever magic Jacques Cavallier Belletrud put into this formula is unreal. It smells amazing. It’s honestly the best citrus fragrance I’ve ever experienced — hyper‐refined, bright, addictive, just on another level. The only thing stopping me from buying it is the price, because the juice itself is undeniably top tier. It leans slightly more feminine, but still feels mostly unisex. Get a sample and it’ll probably blow your mind too. It’s THAT good. If LV priced it the same as the regular line, I’d buy it without hesitation — but at $595, I’m way too broke for it.

A beautiful fragrance..even if criminally overpriced.. But still it's lovely and something to indulge in for sure. Sure the notes are simple but sometimes creating a fragrance with simple fresh and fruity notes that also last a really long time is not an easy thing to do.. this one lasts for hours on skin and doesn't morph into anything unpleasant basically stays fresh and citrusy. I don't know how they did that. It's so tart and sweet in a way that is mouthwatering as if you just squeezed a fresh grapefruit. It makes you happy it makes you feel alive and refreshed.. and did I mention the amazing lasting power? How many citrus freshies can say that.. not many..

Ok, first off this perfume is stellar. It lasted 14-18 hours on my skin and 3 days AT LEAST on my clothes. Is the price high? Yes. But I find this an incredible value because a little goes a long way. However, if the price is too much for you, that Island Dreams is very close to this, without the longevity, projection and with a slightly stronger citrus profile on first spray. I own both and once they dry down the only difference is that Symphony has a better gingery, spicy scent and lasts way longer. That said, I’d repurchase Symphony in a heartbeat. Hope this helps for those who have Island Dreams and are considering moving on with a purchase of Symphony.

this frangrance has had some of the most outragious reviews ever, based on its notes. Thats what i thought before trying it, which i did 3 days ago, where the 1 spray i did on paper is still kind of noticeable, to me this fragrance unites the best of Gris Dior and a delicate almost floral-esque fresh fragrance into a beautiful, not-so-delicate (in a good day), perfume. This is the best perfume i have ever smelt, its perfect, its beautiful, if i could only have 1 perfume forever, it would be this one, beats my last favorite fragrance (TF NP). There isnt a score high enough to give it, and the "Love" status on Fragrantica isn't high enough to describe it.

I do not own this and I don't think I ever will but man is it a good citrus fragrance. Both my wife and I loved this and see it as a unisex citrus clean effervescent scent with a slight softer touch. Maybe its powder, maybe its musk, maybe its floral, who knows, but this is exactly what makes it unisex and very clean smelling. It is a simple fragrance but done well and although I haven't sampled it, I remember the fragrance lasting ages on the tester card from LV. Looking forward to getting the Khadlaj Island Dreams dupe when it drops, I just want to see whether it gives me the same vibe/feeling I had when I smelled Symphony for the first time.

Like the name suggests, Symphony feels like a beautiful symphony in fragrance form, every note blending in harmony without a single misstep ... It moves from one accord to the next the way music swells and softens, smooth, seamless and graceful, never loud yet impossible to ignore. It smells composed, confident and effortlessly elegant, like a masterpiece that knows exactly what it’s doing ... To me it’s very nostalgic, it reminds me of a scent my aunt used to wear a lot, and I think it’s probably because of the grapefruit. Incredibly majestic grapefruit- lofty sea breeze - delicate soft detergent musk. Sounds generic ? It’s generic done with a magic wand. JCB has managed to keep the delicate nuances of grapefruit (sweet, citric, vegetal rhubarb) alive throughout its life on skin/fabric. Smooth ride from top to bottom. Extremely sophisticated and uplifting scent although linear and monotonous in the long run. The price far exceeds the pudding but the deliciousness of it is undeniable. Don’t even bother with the clone. Its acrid opening is enough to show you why legendary perfumers are legendary.

Reminds me of Vibrato, love it, don't think i need to own both though. Edit: sampled it again, actually i do think i would purchase this. Yes the Grapefruit is super prominent which i love however, Symphony is the inside of a super ripe and sweet grapefruit with all of its bitterness removed including the skin that makes an individual slice. Vibrato is the more straightforward grapefruit, its grapefruit in its entire form, skin, peel and all! Symphony has a syrupy sweetness to it thats done in a subtle and non-headache inducing kind of way

I judged this too soon after receiving my sample and should have known better. When I initially tested my sample, the opening was gorgeous followed by a real harshness that put me right off. Now it’s been a week, this is a winner! The opening i do still find a bit harsh, but it quickly settles down to a gorgeous, sweet, fresh, uplifting, energising, happy and almost effervescent grapefruit / citrus mix. It does have a warmth to it from the ginger. It’s also longer lasting that I first thought. To me this almost smells of fizzy sweets.

absolutely fucking gorgeous. simple scent profile but has that rich citrus super refreshing vibe. each note plays an important role in this fragrance and it all works out so damn well. best lv next to l'imminsite. best lv fragrance in citrus, a whopping 10/10 in performance, scent and longevity for me. this and island dreams are not too similar, this one is richer, perfectly balanced, and it is just the BEST grapefruit fragrance on the market ever since it got released. absolutely stunning

The ultimate freshie of my dreams, the one I’ve been looking for through countless of samples and blind buys. Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, I willingly surrendered $980 AUD. And honestly? Worth every cent. Thankfully it's cheaper when refilling the bottle. 2-3 sprays is all you need, it lasts ALL DAY. Scent ✔ – Compliments galore. Longevity ✔ – A solid 10 hours on skin, lasts even longer on clothes. Projection ✔ – Even after 10 hours, people still can smell you well. 10/10 for me.

I'm reading these comments and giggling like a little girl. "Fabreze", "simple", "cleaning product", "old lady fart". For those writing such things, remember that ignorance is best kept to self and kindly go back to enjoying your Yum Boujee Marshmallow or whatever the latest trending nauseating gourmand might be. For those scrolling through the comments, ignore said ignorance. Symphony is perfection, including the price. Wouldn't want this gem accessible to all, would we?

I have tried pretty much all dupes and I’ll tell you know, nothing comes close. Call it what you want, simple.. yes it’s overpriced like crazy.. yes. tho this is magic in a bottle. Sometimes less is more. This is a masterpiece. I was gifted this for my bday, tho now smelling it compared to all the others dupes, call me crazy, but I would purchased this at full retail. This makes me the happiest out of all my 470 colognes I have. You can’t put a price on happiness

Just WOW got a tester strip in February could smell it on the card 2 weeks later ,unbelievable grapefruit masterpiece forget about the price this will Rock any summer anywhere , I got a decant last month and managed to get a near full original bottle of eBay for well below retail so happy,will rock this for next few summers and as long as it’s available will refill it when needed. Just perfection in a bottle mesmerising

My comfort scent, soothing and a symphonic smell. A long stressful day, shower and just spray this a few times and life is beautiful again. On colder days this is even better, I mostly wear this when i’m inside my house. One of the fewer scents that for me totally justifies the MSRP. I haven’t even bothered looking into dupes/alts for this one. Tygar Extrait and Vibrato are wonderful too but this........is Symphony.

One of the most expertly blended and highest quality citrus dominant fragrances ever made. Yes it comes with a hefty price but given the craftsmanship of the bottle created by the late Frank Gehry and the raw materials used and gorgeously blended by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Symphony speaks for itself.. Unisex leaning feminine. This fragrance is fantastic. There is nothing like it, not bevause it is super unique but bevause it is done to perfection. Impecable smell with impecable longevity and projection. The scent is very simple, shampoo style grapefruit but very rafined and elevated. It is the most pleasant, pay attention to word I chose... not interesting, not complex, pleasant, fragrance I have ever smelled.

This fragrance has me in a chokehold. Louis Vuitton’s fragrance DNA is unmatched, always carrying that musky, expensive aura. I don’t own many citrus forward fragrances, yet for some reason I can’t stop reaching for this one. Yes, it’s clean but it’s more than that. It carries an aura with it. It’s a whole mood . The kind of scent that instantly brings out your expensive, feminine character.

I own Unforgettable from Burjairami and this smells 95% identical to Symphony. I spent the afternoon smelling LV perfumes in store and comparing them to my schmoops. Unforgettable is one of the best in my schmoop collection. The longevity and projection are incredible, highly recommend this schmoop unless you're rich and/or a collector I don't see why you'd pay for LV prices.

So I’ve finally bought the real thing after having Island Dreams and the difference is absolutely in the dry down, for the first half hour they are very similar but after that Symphony just gets better. Incredible scent bubble , for me it’s definitely more feminine on my skin. Is it groundbreaking no but is it absolutely beautiful yes. If you can afford it you won’t regret it

I'd say this is a perfect unisex fragrance. Doesn't lean masculine or feminine at all. If you're a person who really enjoys those kinds of scents, this is definitely a must-get for you guys. While I do love Symphony, I would like something that is slightly more masculine and the dupe of it that I have is also amazing because 595 dollars is crazy

One of the best fragrances out there, in my opinion. It's an excellent everyday scent with impressive quality and a well crafted composition. However, despite how good it is, I still don't think its relatively simple scent profile fully justifies the high price tag although i still find myself picking and wearing it quite a lot.

For people complaining about price, you know you can just buy a used bottle of this stuff for cheap and then get it refilled at the LV store for cheaper as well? The refills are significantly less than full price since the bottle makes up some of the price if you already got a bottle they do it cheaper for the refills

So this opens up like the most bright juicy unisex Aventus flanker u can imagine. In the mid u get aspects of a few LV’s combined,mainly Pacific Chill and Afternoon Swim. Dry down has a very gentle dusty sugary base, a bit BR540 like but much better and lighter. Worth the price? Not unless ur really balling.

This one's kind of similar to Nishane Wulong Cha — not similar in exact scent, but similar in the 'DNA' of the perfume. If you want to get your money's worth, Wulong Cha won't disappoint. But if you want a high-end brand name, Symphony will satisfy you too. I own both, and I love them equally.

This has got to be in my top 3 smelling fragrances of all time and the performance and projection is amazing. Louis Vuitton absolutely cooked with this one. The price is egregious though, $700 USD for a fragrance that has so little complexity is frustrating. Still has me in a chokehold though.

MY GOODNESS. This is so regal and elevated. So simple yet so complex. I literally smile everytime i smell it in the air. PERFORMANCE IS BOMB. Crazy steep pricing (but as to be expected from LV). Bought a dupe from montagne that smells exactly the same. I compared with a sample of the OG.

Ok.. I mean is it good? Yeah. Is it a masterpiece? He'll nah It is just a very good summer fragrance. It changes after some time and becomes a very cozy, easy to like with a touch of elegance. It's one of the best summer frags out there but that's pretty much it. Nothing wow here.

this stuff is simply heavenly, even with such a simple composition it is probably the best colognes I have ever smelled. incredible longevity, pretty good bubble, only issue is the price. it is wayyyy too expensive and with all the dupes the price lowers how worth it it is

This fragrance is likely the best one I ever smelled so far, and I will have a bottle someday. I am open to trying dupes first, if needed, but the travel spray I have here is heaven, and certainly raised the bar on my nose.

its hyped for a good reason! will buy a back up bottle. if money isnt an issue then you have to have this in your collection. it allows you to smell luxurious in all settings and be fresh at the same time.

I have a plethora of Louis Vuitton fragrances and this is one of the most unique fragrances they have. Before I knew it I sprayed away half the bottle. My mom always asks me about this one specifically lol

smells super good but id recomend buying khadlaj island dreams, i own a sample of symphony and island dreams and they smell 95% similar, only difference is khadlaj island dreams is 25x cheaper

Louis Vuitton Symphony is the best citrus grapefruit forward fragrance in the market ever. I love this so much when I first smelled that I instantly fell in love this was a must buy for me.
