Im generally disgusted by apple forward fragrances, but this stuff is incredible. Aromatic notes, spicy apple on a sweet amberwood base. The whole thing is not heavy at all more like calming and chill. Imagine a gorgeous niche top note as seen in the pyramid and it mixes with the designer-y base of amberwood so well. Bought a bottle. Unique, very likeable, makes its presence noticed but not pushy or in your face.

that top note trio is kinda genius really, easiest way to put this is a niche version of PDM layton, deff. more natural, great job

Absolutely gorgeous. What I hoped Layton to be.

Fresh herbs given a light splash of fruit juice, to which sticks a generous dusting of warm cinnamon. Sweet and aromatic. Top note dominant, accented by saffron and black pepper notes that respectively impart a very light suede and earthy spiciness, all grounded by a woody base. Consistent moderate projection for 4-5hr, longevity 10-12hr. The note pyramid seems quite accurate to me. Top note dominant, blended from the beginning without much progression as the mid is less prominent and the base even less so. I don't get the comparisons to either Alex II or Layton, although the former at least shares a similar skeleton -- prominent apple & cinnamon, lavender, plus a woody base.

Definitely a juicy green apple forward scent with herbs and a lot of sweetness. Seems suitable for spring and fall, it is a fresh one. Pretty pleasant all things considered. Slightly reminds me of PDM Layton and Nobile Shamal. Most of all it smells like Layton (with zero menthol and vanilla) and about 75% of the sweetness, but still very sweet. The apple note from Layton ramped up. Does smell good, but doesn’t smell like luxury at all... This is still a synthetic fruity candy fragrance that best fits teenagers. The price is hilarious. Do they think they’re Amouage? Please don’t buy this blind. 7.7/10

Nice mature smelling gentle perfume. Quite likable and chic. Smells perfect for office and making a statement without choking others. Sweet woody with a touch of pepper. Very slightly fruity. I don't get the layton apple in this but it's still nice. At full retail price it's too expensive but at discounted price I would recommend it.

I'm testing this blind, not knowing anything about the brand, fragrance, or notes. The opening was aromatic with elements of wood and a soft fruit cake vanilla sweetness. After that it settled with an almost rotting fruit vibe, not necessarily bad, but not clean or fresh fruit. Either way its sweetness is downplayed and its general body is aromatic, not gourmande. While this fragrance is different from others from the house, there's still a similar dark character. Looking at the notes some are more apparent while others add to the overall aromatic blend. The fruit element is definitely the combination of apple, black currant, and the vanilla and turns dark with the herbs and woods. Don't expect to smell the thyme, lavender, saffron, and black pepper distinctly as they all blend together and explain the aromatic experience. It's an aromatic blend that has a dark, slightly tart and sweet bend to it. This makes it fairly unisex. Projection great, longevity good.

Pleasant, sweet green apple combined with prominent lavender and a medicinal synthetic oud-y feel underneath. I would have like this more if the patchouli didn’t come off as harsh to my nose. However, this is probably a pleaser for most people out there and I do not really have any problems with Maydan, just not my cup of tea.

Evil Layton/ToB not as overly sweet and no menthol but instead an earthy sort of synthetic Oud smell in the base with slight greenery. A little on the basic side but not bad at all and can be found for a competitive deal than its alternatives not too much else to say

Love the opening, the apple, saffron and vanilla combo gives it a Layton vibe, but this not at that level...sorry A little medicinal (not necessary in a bad way) and long lasting. Its the dry down that disappoints me kind linear and boring.

The lavender opens sharply. The apple feels slightly synthetic. The drydown is a skin-close scent of apple-cinnamon vanilla pastry. Overall, nothing outstanding.

Glad its not on the tiktok kids radar yet! You can for sure say its Laytons & Outlands distant cousin. Imagine Layton without mandarine/menthol + a Brighter Outlands. I would call it a complex perfume because so much is happening through the drydown phases. I really like the drydown but dislike the opening. If you appriciate Layton/outlands or carlisle, this might be a good blind buy

This is Bentley for Men Intense, but the high-end version. Bentley quickly turns into something just "meeh". Maydan stays solid from start to finish. There's this boozy accord with the apple bringing a light balance of freshness. There's nothing necessarily groundbreaking, but this is perfumery at its best.

This is a highly luxurious and well made fragrance. Somewhat gourmand with an oriental feel. The creativity is astounding and very voluptuous quality. It lasts very long but sits close to the skin being an Extrait. It works great in the heat and the cooler weather.

It's decent. On my skin I get mainly just the woody notes, some patchouli and vanilla. Pleasant, though I wish some of the aromatic and fruity notes jumped out more for me. Maybe they do for others, but for me it's a pass even though it's a fine fragrance.

This is like a mashup of Alexandria II, Layton, FM Promise, but much softer than the rest. It's a beautiful inoffensive scent. Very smooth and nicely blended. Nothing to complain about, though it will probably not blow your mind either.

Triumph of Bacchus with a fougere hat on. This is wonderful from beginning to end. 8.5/10
