Nayssabour

This is awesome, such a good perfume. A bold and heady scent that has a beautiful oud opening with rose and raspberry in the heart. I love the dry down, the saffron, patchouli and sandalwood complement one another beautifully to create a kind of warm incense vibe. I love it, need to start saving for a bottle. Presentation also looks fantastic. Colour me as a fan! UPDATE: I wore this scent a few years at a BBQ in the heat, I had such a good time and 2 yrs later and I still love this one. We are currently having a "heatwave" in Norway (26C) and we had a BBQ yesterday and i sprayed what i had left of my Nayssabour sample and I was reminded of that day 2 yrs ago. As long as its not over-sprayed, I really enjoy the combination of oud, raspberry, saffron and incense in the heat. For me its a really dusty, warm and comforting smell. Great in the winter too. Looking to buy FB asap.

no way, an oud rose frag i like? I think the use of pink roses vs jammy red? helps, i dunno. Rasberry clove benzion patch saffron is perfectly blended here too. Hrm maybe a mix of Tom Ford Noir Extreme and Amouge Lyric man? great job --- Porthole which is not listed here yet : also great easiest way to describe it is a 2x more natural/3d and better smelling TT Kirke, its "fresh" still where so many fruit bombs get lame, this maintains fresh fresh fruit with light flowers floated with the caramel/wood/musk base. Just fantastic

Really lovely smooth Rose Oud, amber elements, aromatic, and slightly fruity from the raspberry. Really well balanced and high quality composition. It’s been done before but it’s well done. Performance is great and the more it dries down the better it becomes.

Smells like a blend of MFK Silk Mood & LV Ombré Nomade. Closer to Silk Mood.

I'm testing this blind, not knowing anything about the brand, fragrance, or notes. The opening was rosy and cognac boozy. I get little bits of leather like the inside of a high-quality bag up close, but in the air it is more viscous with tiny bits or spice. Later it turned into a saddle and boot shop. It's woodsy, but darker, and not overly (or obnoxiously) trying to be too big. Looking at the notes the woods and rose are the more dominant blend where I imagine the clove is adding to the sense of leather, while the vanilla and maybe the raspberry and benzoin add to the opening sense of cognac. Regardless of its notes, it is certainly mature and aromatic with a leather feeling. Great projection and longevity. 11.5.25 Ended up testing this again blind, finding it far more dry and herbal spicy, more of the saddle leather side of dry and woodsy. Didn't really get the viscous elements, and while there were some citrus in the initial opening (which could be the raspberry), it is pretty much non-existent for most of the day. Dry, woodsy, soft herbal spicy.

A sour woody oud right in the opening, permeated by a slight sweetness and a soft dusting of spicy cloves. The raspberry and rose come out more as it dries down, steadily replacing some of the initial sourness, with the raspberry eventually fading into the warm resinous base. Strong initial projection settles down over the first hour through 3-4hr, longevity 12hr+. A rose fragrance and an oud fragrance, but not really a rose-oud fragrance as the oud fades out while the rose fades in. The spices and resins are the heart of this fragrance, however it's too animalic for my liking.
