Cretus

58 votes, only 5 reviews, and a 3.55 rating? Sounds like some people are hating on this fragrance just because of what it is. Thankfully I was able to pick this up at a fraction of its retail price. For what I paid, this is a great fragrance. This isn't to say it isn't worth more than what I paid, but I always like spending as little as possible. That being said, it's definitely among the more natural-smelling clones. For an EDP, longevity could be better, but get this for a fraction of its retail price, and it's easily overlooked. 3/2024 Update: I wore this fragrance tonight and in a couple hours it had dissipated. I know I said that its lack of longevity could be overlooked, but I'm not sure if that's possible at this level. Previous rating: 9/10 Updated rating: 7/10

LPDO an Italian brand that has been producing fragrances since 2020 at modest prices. Many argue that Cretus is the dupe of Creed's Aventus...undoubtedly the olfactory pyramid is the same plus Creed's Aventus has the rose that emerges victorious. Cretus is a fresh democratic summer fragrance for all budgets.

Got a sample of this with my purchase of Hash Intense. Another Aventus clone smells great but doesn't perform as well as CDNI which is one of my favourite fragrances.

I got this for$20 on sale at a Fragrance Outlet store. For that price, I’d rebuy. I wouldn’t spend more than that due to the moderate longevity of 3-4 hours and there are lots of alternatives at that price. However, it was a good smelling clone of Aventus. Definitely a fruity batch. Smells better than L’Venture to me. Actually one of my best Aventus clones for quality, but I like the smoky/black currant heavy twist.

Aventus who has the good taste to be discreet and disappear quickly. Instead of a full team of soccer players locker-room distillation you have a fresh casual white t-shirt scent.
