Superbe Cafè

I'm quite perplexed by some of the negative views about this perfume. I find it warm and cosy and unlike many more expensive coffee note fragrances the opening sweetness dissipates quite quickly and leaves the coffee note hanging in the air for much of the rest of the day. This has been backed up by some of my friends and colleagues, its a perfume that actually hones feedback, all positive. One friend actually likes sniffing my sweater. This company has so many excellent perfumes I have six altogether to me they're as good as niche and not at all synthetic pretenders. Don't be put off...to me this is the goat when it comes to coffee scents.

Rich dense persistent with strong sillage. I cannot detect the coffee but rose, vanilla and amber are there (it is also similar to some rose/light oud bouquets). I never tried Montale Intense cafe but I can see some resemblance with Cafe rose by Tom Ford (less rose here and more vanilla). Overall it may not be a complete original fragrance but the ingredients are excellent and the performance good. The bottle is nice and I received many compliments wearing this. It is definitely a line to explore better. Not blind buy, but for that price you could! 4/5

This is straight up Montale Intense Café. I love it and it’s very natural smelling. The bottle is beautiful, one of my favourites (out of a very large collection) as it has a real premium feel and great design. I wholeheartedly recommend this if you love Intense Café. For the incredible price you’ll be pleased that you tried it.

My favourite LPDO scent. Great for cooler weather or date nights. Nuff said.

When I bought it and brought it home, all I could smell was roses—just roses. And honestly, that really upset me because I bought it hoping for coffee. I decided to let it sit in my closet for about two weeks and then tried it over a moisturizing cream. Wow! The rose became sweeter, and now I can actually pick up the coffee. It’s not a coffee drink vibe, though—more like roasted coffee beans paired with slightly powdery roses. I wouldn’t call this a gourmand or even a "coffee perfume." I’d say the rose is the dominatrix wife in this marriage with coffee in the background, and their kids are amber and musk.

What a beautiful scent! Rose and caramel at the background of light coffee. It's thick and dense scent, but at the same time light and pleasant to wear. Even now in July, it is very comfortable. The longevity and sillage are excellent - I can definitely smell it all day long. For me, this is not unisex, but a feminine scent. I think, it is too sweet for a man. The rose here is feminine. A very worthy fragrance!

love it for the sweetness and rose accords. Great sillage, perfect for winter or fall. Warm, cozy, sexy, sweet. Really great perfume! I only miss coffee notes, they should be a bit stronger. But in general it is a great perfume for a reasonable price.

I got LPDO Superbe Cafe as a blind buy based on many good reviews and the low price. The packaging is very nice and the bottle is really cool with it’s basketweave texture and gold colored cap and atomizer. I really try to be positive in my reviews, yet this is a fragrance that is completely unwearable for me. To my nose this smells like stale beer mixed with some sugary drink that has gone bad. First tried it on a test strip and didn’t care for it at all. Then, thinking perhaps it would open up on my skin, I tried it on the back of my hand. Sadly there was that same soured, something gone off odor. I can smell the coffee note and some sweetness, but it’s completely shrouded by a very persistent funk of something sugary that is out of date and on the way to fermenting. After an hour I couldn’t take it any more and had to wash it off. If anyone who enjoys this fragrance would be interested in a swap or would like to buy a nearly new bottle (only 2 sprays used) please send me a private message. Sorry that this one just didn’t work out. Update 3 June 2022 - After reading of others who, upon receiving a fragrance that seemed to be 'off', had removed the cap and let it 'breathe' for a week or so in a cool dark place, I followed suit and this is like a different fragrance now. There's still a note here that I'm not crazy about but it's nowhere nearly as pungent and 'off' smelling as my initial review would indicate. While it's still not a favorite and one that I am not likely to wear, I do understand why so many would enjoy this one.

Can atest to longevity - sprayed it on my scarf a week ago, the scent is still there and going strong. It’s a very nice perfume, great value.

A wannabe sophisticated floral with a hint of coffee. Feels a little synthetic and cheap to me.

Although not as smooth or dense as Montale Intense Cafe, this fragrance will sure to last for days on your clothes. If you love coffee scent that last and cheap this is it!

Very strong in oriental arabian style sweet warm deep and long lasting unisex nishe italian perfume for parfgourmans...very close to Mancera Roses Vanille
