I didn't know it was for women when I first bought it.But I wear it to the gym and I have received decent amount of compliments and "something smells so good here" kind of reactions from girls.Some guys asked what i was wearing in the locker room.So I think you can easily pull this of as a man.I don't think that if the melon note wasn't one of the ingredients it would be a fragrance for men.Obviously you can wear whatever you want but this is just my opinion. As for the scent, i get melon in the initial spray and it stays there a few hours.Than it becomes a synthetic mess.But I wear it for 2 hours max, threfore i don't have any problems with that.Although it smells synthetic, performance is just average; you get a gorgeus fragrance considering what you pay for it.
