Tell me, how is it possible for me to be a tortured Guerlain fan, in love with moody things like l’Heure Bleue, Habit Rouge or Vol de Nuit, and still to be able to enjoy foolishly simplistic drugstore things like Lady Castagnette?: sweetish fruit, some deodorant kind of flowers and an awkward flat vanilla to hold the stuff together. How can I enjoy such an anathema ? Because I do. It’s my plebeian teenager part, I totally assume it. And Peter Pan was right, don’t grow up, it’s a trick.

I like it a lot. It can rival designer fragraces. It reminds me of a stronger, deeper and fruitier version of Signorina Misteriosa by Ferragamo. Very fruity top, mainly blackberries and peach. Likeable background with sensual, creamy sandalwood and musk. Dreamy violets in the heart. The scent feels purple. It does not sound juvenile nor mature but pensive and sensual. It fits evenings the most.

The bottle is gorgeous and looks perfect on a vanity It has a purple-fruity scent 🍇like you’re actually holding a drink made of mixed purple fruits. It also has the sweetness of vanilla and a green, stem-like freshness 😁. it's like a more generic/less complex cousin of escada's magnetism (its supposed resemblance being the main reason i bought it to begin with) without the green notes and concentrated on berries with a hint of powdery violet and a sweet vanilla drydown. honestly, i don't hate it for what it is! if it was a little louder i'd say it might have even been a love!

A gentle, classically composed feminine fragrance—subtly elegant and effortlessly wearable, suited to any occasion. The fruity sweetness of the opening is delicately underpinned by floral notes. The sillage soon settles into an intimate whisper, requiring reapplication even on fabric. A pleasant and graceful experience.

Lulu made a girly, fruity and flowery essence of summer in a bottle.In the opening our noses are put into sparkling swirl of berries and blackcurrant juice.It lasts for moments, next fruits are layered with flowers: rose and violet and a drop of jasmine essence.Probably these notes are responsible for powdery impression.But it` s not heavy powder building a boudouir atmosphere.Imagine rather a young, flirty coquette, who is sitting next to her very special colleague smiling and chatting with him.From time to time she winks to her friend as she was asking if everything goes right way ;)The drydown made of sandalwood and musc gives some depth to the scent.LC is not cloying or overpowering with sweetness, easily sits on your skin and lasts there for some time. Lets you stay fresh and definitely attracts attention. Sillage is not overpowering. Lulu`s scent is closed in a purple, artistically designed bottle with a characteristic tail.Rather for daytime than evening use it quickly became one of my favourite summer perfumes

i guess this should be perfect for vanilla-fruit fragrance combo..It's REALLY heavy on fruit in the beginning, just like pure blackberry and black currant mashed together. The dry down results in very sweet vanilla aftertaste...It's wild and very very sweet..

Berries overload with jasmine and a sweet woody base. Uplifting, sexy, youthful scent. I get just a little bit of vanilla in the drydown. I like the bottle, looks very nice on my dresser.

Fruity violet. A bit powdery and lipsticky in the drydown. Overall, not a distinctive frag but playful enough for daily wearing.
