Life's a Bed of Roses

I love it. I love all the Lulu Guinness's. I love the bottles, they're so gorgeous. And this is a lovely rose. Real, and gardeny. All those gorgeous roses! I love roses so much. They're a sublime thing. I think this perfume is just right. It's very well blended, and has quite a lilt to it, with the lychee, and the other flowers, and it's a fabulous dry-down with my beloved vetiver, and the heavenly heliotrope, ambrette and orris. Gorgeous. It's a lovely, terribly nice perfume, and I wish I had more bottles!

This is a lovely mix of rose bouquet with a slightly musk and green background. Unfortunately this was made in 2003 and I think my bottle is starting to turn because there is a hint of celery wafting around it does fade after a while luckily. If you do own a bottle and you want to lengthen the life of your perfume. There is a way to boost that lovely rose smell and make the perfume last a little longer. Body Fantasies Sweet Primrose Kiss. Boosts the Roses, adds sweetness and freshness to the bouquet and hides the celery.

not so light like paul smith or bit heavy like stella.between all season and weathers.pure rose oil with ambrette,very little spicy,after hours i can only vetiver-maybe skin chemistry-,not bad but not so orginal,very longlasting and strong,but i usually prefer pacifica persian rose.

This opened as a very realistic lychee that turned into a soft, gentle rootbeer (orris root) and rose on my skin. Very pretty and doesn't bring grandma to mind.

Update: Got it after 4 years of searching. Having whole collection of These RARE little beauties. Well done me!

Just this one and I'd complete the Lulu Guiness collection. What a pity!

I like this one. I have had it for quite some time and it has not turned. It isn't my favorite rose scent but it is long lasting. There is something about it that doesn't seem quite like genuine rose.... Not the rose fragrance itself but something it is mixed with. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. I bought it because it is definitely unique.
