Blancocò Chocolate

i could understand why many would initially think winter but i think this sits best in the fall daytime category. heliotrope is a flower that blooms in the summer/fall and some of the warmer notes not being warm enough sit more suitably between winter and summer- therefore fall. coconut is very heavy in this and i find the concept of coconut in general too tropical and light for winter, though in this specifically it’s brought out with all of the top notes plus white chocolate, tonka, and vanilla. the creaminess of the coconut reminds me of that specific element in a colada (no piña of course) that i think the tonka, cacao and vanilla combination make a tiny little bit boozy, like a gentle whiff that evaporates and dies down too soon to dominate. this one is very yummy and subtle and works perfectly for a clean feminine soft skin gourmand that’s not too gourmand scent. even with the sugar, white chocolate and coconut, this isn’t sickly sweet whatsoever because of the butter, anise and almond. rounded perfectly to where the sugar does not take over at all. i do not regret this one and it deserves the hype bianco latte has. so yummy!

I am testing a sample. What I loved immediately is a warm and slightly spicy chocolate patchouli fragrance that wasn’t too sweet, but sweet enough to hold my interest. I liked that it was not too smoky, caramel based, liquor-forward or too fruity. What works well are the almond notes (both almond milk and heliotrope flower), the chocolate (both white and cacao) the anise, the patchouli and powdery notes. There is a grounded earthiness they I really like. What does this remind me of? It reminds me of both Cacao Porcelana and Psychedelic love. I get the powdery cacao note from one and the almondy notes of the other. This is actually really good. If you enjoy patchouli and chocolate, I think you would enjoy this.

I'm not getting any anise in my sample, but agree with the previous poster re the "airiness" of the almond milk note. I don't know what heliotrope smells like, so I can't comment on that. This is a gourmand fragrance but not in an overly literal way. It's very wearable and would go perfectly with a cream-colored cashmere shawl or scarf. Would make an excellent bedtime or early morning fragrance. Not full bottle worthy for me as I already have Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere which has a similar drydown (albeit without the chocolate note). Update: I can't stop thinking about this one. The longevity was impressive and I kept getting lovely little whiffs of it for hours. It has a more sophisticated makeup than the Philosophy one. I may need a larger decant or even a full bottle of this.

This is such a different gourmand from the rest that i have, powdery yet sweet airy fragrance.Coconutty white chocolate, it is simply a dream, like most of the Lumi fragrances!Good performance also.

I get an airy vibe. Sweet talc, but not dusty or old fashioned. More like a gourmand that leans powdery and comforting rather than rich or edible. It’s sweet, but in a cloud-like, creamy way. It's "pretty" but not my thing.

I tried two samples of this with the same outcome... On me, this has a similar patchouli DNA as Aventus, and I feel like I’m the only one thinking this which is why I thought I got an incorrect sample but the second one was the same. The first hour or so is very patchouli Aventus like with a very potent sharp cacao accord that made me feel like this was a chocolatey semi masculine type of Aventus gourmand. Later, that DNA subsided and was left with soft heliotrope and creamy buttery coconut. Finally, almond made a slow entrance during the dry down. Potent, long lasting and unisex except for the first minutes. I wish there wasn’t patchouli in here because all of the notes are the type that I love. Sample first because I’m sure the patchouli doesn't show up on everyone from what I can see.
