Opens with a blast of peppery grapefruit and almond, interesting combination that works surprisingly well. Almond quiets down quickly and the grapefruit becomes more prominent. The incense becomes noticeable after 10 minutes or so, and makes for a beautiful base to the citruses. That stage lasts for an hour or two, when the perfume dries down to soft almond (sweeter than they were in the opening) and remnants of citrus. A nicely executed take on a summery citrus perfume, the incense is an especially lovely touch.

This is a perfume with a lot of evolution whose initial seconds I don't like at all and whose finish I really like. Despite the fact that at first there is a discordant note with my nose, perhaps the pink pepper, a juicy and realistic orange soon appears. After a couple of minutes, we can also feel the nuts in the form of pistachio and, above all, almond, with a very perceptible background of green tea. This part of the fragrance seems very original to me. Later, after a couple of hours, the final drydown comes, in which I feel exactly the three listed notes: a blood orange full of juice, the smoky aspect of incense and the creaminess of sandalwood. I have to highlight very positively such a marked evolution in the fragrance, which is not usually common. It has a moderate sillage and lasts on my skin for about 8 hours. However, of the three fragrances that I have tried from Lunio, having liked all three, I would say that it ranks third, despite the fact that I expected it to be my favorite. My favorite is Neroli Nostrum, followed by Cherry Fever. Smell 6.5/10 Duration 8/10 Sillage 7/10 Quality/price 7.5/10 Versatility 7/10 Packaging 6/10 Would I buy again? Probably not

Sadly, this perfume is now discontinued. The brand has confirmed by email that they do not have plans to re-manufacture their stock (I had to write to them in Spanish). I caved and bought one of the last bottles in existence. There are 3 stores in the EU that have a few in stock. As for the smell... this is a delicious gourmand that doesn't have vanilla, and I really appreciate that! The nuttiness, incense, and sandalwood bring depth to the citrus as well as longevity. There is complexity and whimsical joy in wearing this. I'll admit that I wasn't sure what to expect at first about the almond mixed with grapefruit, but it's delightful and comforting. This could be a good year-round scent. Edit: Coming back to this the almond makes this perfume smell like a cherry gourmand that doesn’t have a cough syrup accord.
