Cherry Fever

Well, to assess this perfume I can be very brief: Probably my favorite cherry perfume! It was a surprise when I found out about the launch a few months ago and love at first smell already when I tried it last summer. Back then it was not so easy to find a cherry perfume, or at least one that was good. A couple of years ago I had fallen in love with Lost cherry by Tom Ford but I was delaying the purchase because the price seemed excessive for the performance that this perfume gave me (no more than 2-3 hours on the skin and a price of €250/ 50ml). I tried various options but they were not the same: some, although they were cheaper, also gave me limited performance; in others, although the cherry was very noticeable at the exit, it disappeared soon after a first drying and left me with more generic drying... And so time passed until the first sample of cherry fever came into my hands. Finally a durable cherry, which maintains that sour cherry sensation on the skin for hours, lasts on the skin for more than 6 hours and on clothes for days. And all this also wrapped in an amber and slightly smoky sensation that makes it more pleasant than other perfumes. Since then, the cherry has become fashionable and there are many brands that have dared with the aroma of cherry, but I no longer change my cherry fever for anything. I have found the perfect cherry and a few weeks ago I finally have a bottle in my hands! The price is fantastic, even more so for a niche perfume (€110/100ml), even cheaper than some designer perfumes but with excellent quality and features. I understand those people who say that it has a synthetic part but... what cherry perfume doesn't have it? The cherry aroma that we all know is a completely synthetic aroma that is reminiscent of chewing gum, lollipops and cherry sweets and that has nothing to do with a real fresh cherry, but that is precisely what LC from Tom Ford gave and what that I was looking for a long time. Here you can see the hand of the perfumer Daniel Josier, who achieves a very well-balanced mixture, which despite the sweetness is not overwhelming at any time, but which gives you bursts throughout the day... And it is also one of the perfumes that have given me the most compliments lately. So Yummy! Smells like cherry and almond, with a hint or creamy praline and a bit of liquor. Or like a cherry marzipan, very elegant scent. Quite exceptional in the cherry-fragrances field, smells natural and sophisticated. The longevity is good, around 7/8 hours on skin, with moderate projection.

Opening and first 30 minutes this smells like TF Lost Cherry / Lovely Cherie Maison Alhambra. Then the cherry starts to come down and the leather (and musk?) start to come forward. You don't lose the cherry but the leather background is aparent upon close sniff. It stays very similar to the previosly mentioend, only less sweet and more leathery Seems pretty soft to me. At 8hs mark it's a skin scent.
