American Cream

loveee this perfume! it smells very musky and lavender, but is creamier and more vanilla forward on the skin. it doesn't smell like a milkshake to me tho, as there isn't much sweetness to it.

like this one as a bed time scent. it’s so soft and relaxing.

This is a nice creamy scent from Lush that I enjoy quite a bit, but I don't reach for it often because it's a solid perfume. Ironically, I also think it smells better than its liquid counterpart — the lavender marks its territory in the opening, and I happen to love lavender. There's also a lipstick, plastic-like quality to it, like making a Barbie doll wear your mom's old lip balm and then smelling her up close. Something in the composition feels quite sharp at first, but the scent develops beautifully on skin and, as others have pointed out, becomes more intimate and comforting. I have the sneaky suspicion that Lush have reformulated these, so maybe try to get your hands on one of the old glass pots if you can.

I truly don't understand the strawberry comparisons. To me this smells very similar to the sleepy products, mostly a melancholic levander+vanilla scent. I like it but don't love it edit: I realized it's one of those 'kinda reminds meow of a cat' perfumes so I like it more now

Wonderful smell. Strawberries and vanilla with a hint of floral. It smells exactly like my late grandmother which brought me to tears, i keep it for sentimental reasons but do not wear it. I imagine she had something with similar notes but im not sure what it could have been.

I loveeeee this scent as shampoo and body lotion, but the solid perfume doesn't do it for me. it has a weird plastic-y kind of note to it. would be interesting to see if the bottled perfume smells the same.

sadly i don’t like this perfume!! one of the lovely people at lush was kind enough to give me a free sample pot as it’s her favourite scent, but i find it too sweet and overpowering. to me it smells like melting strawberry icecream and someone eating strawberry laces but not giving any to you on sports day aged 9 and it’s far too hot and there isn’t any shade on the field.

When I first swipe the American Cream solid perfume onto my skin, it releases this faint, creamy breath - soft, warm, almost shy. It doesn’t bloom loudly the way the liquid perfume does. Instead, it comes through like a quiet exhale, a little whisper of vanilla that feels more like a memory than a fragrance. There’s this waxy, Chapstick‐like note right at the start that always catches me off guard. Not in a bad way, more in a familiar way, like something I’ve carried in my pocket for years. It reminds me of those small comforts you don’t think about until they’re suddenly there again. As it settles, the creaminess smooths out and becomes gentler, warmer, almost like the scent is leaning in closer rather than spreading outward. It stays intimate, a skin scent in the truest sense. Something I wear for myself, not for the room. Compared to the perfume cylinder, the solid definitely has less projection and shorter longevity but honestly, that softness suits the mood. American Cream in solid form feels like a private moment, a little creamy cloud I keep close, something I reach for when I want comfort rather than attention. It’s subtle and it feels like a small, creamy secret I carry on my skin.

Prefer this over the actual perfume tbh, I agree with @Doriii, this to me smells like sleepy with a lot more vanilla. Is definitely a very intimate skin scent and I love that on my skin it turns so creamy and cozy.
