Avocado Co-Wash

Smells like mouth-watering lemon pez candy!! Unfortunately, to my nose this completely disappears within an hour, even 30 minutes. But, that gives me more reason to drown myself in this fragrance. It's so bright and refreshing, zesty and sweet, but not nauseatingly sugary or warm. I love it so much. My friends love it so much on me. I would drink this, huff this, if I could. It's amazing. It's reminiscent of the lemon note in the original Super Milk hair primer, but amped up to the max. My friend's mom once gifted me a box of lemon cookies and on the note it said, "women love lemon." That is all I can think of when I spray this. Certainly, women love lemon, I am women. It just makes me so happy smelling this. My only wish is that it lasted longer. Although, where I live, the summers are ungodly hot and humid, so that may affect this fragrances performance. I'm eager to try it out in winter to see if the lasting power is longer. In any case, I love this fragrance, despite its flaws. Love love love. 10/10 for me based on scent alone.

Hello! This is my first Fragrantica review, hope it's helpful! Avocado Co-Wash is truly lovely. It's really fruity and fresh; i've had compliments from it for a few days and I had only sampled it once in store. I think that Lush have a really good selection of fragrances for those wanting lower budget fragrance options. Avocado Co-Wash has a wonderfully refreshing, sherbet-y smell that transforms over time to be a little less citrus-y but still sweet, warm and sparkling. I think it balances freshness and sweetness very nicely. It smells exactly like the hair product, and boasts an amazing longevity - due to the fragrance being glycerine-based, its longevity on skin is decent, and its longevity on clothing has lasted over 5 days while still boasting moderate sillage. Not bad! Overall, if you're looking for something refreshing and yummy-smelling with excellent longevity, Avocado-Co Wash has got you covered :)

I am so unbelievably obsessed with this body spray. I blind bought after reading some reviews because I wanted to have more citrus/fresh fragrances for summer, and oh my GOD I'm so glad I did. I personally don't smell the cotton candy some people pick up on; to me this smells EXACTLY like lemon drops/sherbet lemons and I love love LOVE it. It's so incredibly zesty, sharp and sweet - I've been wearing it every night after showering since I bought it and it makes me smell so clean and fresh. Longevity is around 6-8 hours for me, and sillage is fairly good - somewhere between moderate and strong in my opinion. And the fact it's both fairly affordable and only a body spray impresses me both with the quality of the scent and the strength. Not to mention you'll only need 2-3 sprays of this for it to be noticeable. Absolutely going to be buying more of this once I run out.

I despise supermilk, it smells like rancid cinnamon-clove-coconut milk on my hair and my skin, very offputting, I expected lemon creamy oat milk but end up with rotten grandma cinnamon cookies. But since people said ACW is the lemony version of super milk, I gained hope and said screw it, I blind bought ACW body spray and it is all ever wanted from supermilk! It is lemon candy, not tart sour smell lemon, just lemon candy, it is not gourmand per se but eventhough it is lemony, you can smell a bit of weight in it like almond milk smell so it is a bit creamy lemon candy. The sillage is moderate but longevity is beast for body spray, it stays 5 hour-ish on skin before fading and more than 8 hours on clothes! Comparing other body sprays' price like SDJ or Phlur, I think Lush body spray is more worth it than those considering the juice quality.

I got this because it smells really close to the Curl Power scent. I like that it's not so heavy on the sweetness like Super Milk. Mind the green note someone mentioned, there's a hint of fresh spicy to it that's not present in Super Milk (and imo why it sets it apart) and it might be because of the bergamot. Smells like sweet citrus rind, I guess this is the litsea cubeba, and I'm still training my nose to the frankincense but there's definitely a depth to it that's different from gourmand vanilla sweetness. I would like to try and combine this with something to make it more creamy scent to better emulate the curl cream, but without changing it much. Regardless I can't wait to use this on a hot hot day to see how it performs. So far it's way more pleasant on warmer spring days.

When I win the lottery I will fill a bathtub with this spray and dive in. My head will explode from the pure pain of the headache that this will induce and I will die instantly, however, that is my ideal way to go. so long as you are very careful, this is a wonderful scent. I use it as a "room spray" on my closet and let it stay on my clothes to die down a little over the course of the week, and it still lingers and is very noticeable. It is a delicious spicy and sweet citrus that is just too strong. It's like some kind of masochistic addiction. It WILL give me a headache, and I WILL open the bottle and stick my face into it. If you want this smell but a little more subtle, Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2 is just that (and the lush co-wash this is named for) I might drink it one day.

I love this stuff. It has great sillage, especially for the first couple of hours. I've been in stores and heard multiple people saying the room smells like cotton candy and i'm secretly grinning in the corner. For those of you curious to its likeness to "super milk", I will say it has a similar feel, but obviously missing the creamy aspects super milk has. The body spray is still quite sweet in my opinion, but in more of a fruity way, not so much in a vanilla dessert way. I've been told by employees at Lush that if you layer this with LTGTR spray it will smell pretty similar to super milk if thats what you're goin for :) I also voted this as a summer and spring scent, but honestly I just wear it whenever I feel and I encourage others to do the same lol

Lush is truly addictive. This latest obsession all started with the solid hair wash/conditioner. I could not stop smelling it. Once you get hooked on a scent you can’t stop. This one reminds me of Love. Love is more lemony and floral and this one is more creamy, custard, rich, edible, fizzy, key lime pie with a yummy sweet graham cracker crust. It’s so good it makes my mouth water. Between this and Love I’d have to say this one wins for me. I need to stop with Lush before I buy the whole store. I have to say other than Lust and Flying Fox this is my favorite Lush scent so far. I also love Rose Jam and Yog Nog. If you want to smell like a lime pie buy this before it’s discontinued.

I love this scent. It was my signature scent for a long while. Working at lush I picked up a lot of different body sprays, and this one I'm just addicted to. It smells like a fancy lemon meringue. You can practically feel the crumble. I wear it to university, I wear it to the movies, I wear it to concerts, I wear it grocery shopping, I wear it to visit relatives, I wear it to grab dinner. I think it's an incredibly versatile scent. That being said, it's controversial. I think it smells incredible and generally fits in in any environment, but I've had some people complain that it smells "strange" in a way they can't describe, and my mum is insistent it sets off her allergies.

i absolutely loooooove this scent !!! i tried it on in store and originally wasn’t going to buy it because i didn’t like it at all- i thought it smelt quite medicinal on my skin, but it was likely because i sprayed too much in one spot. i DID buy it and when i wore it at home after the shower every day i really really started to like it. it starts off as a very strong citrusy scent which i adore, and then its dry down is wonderful. it really does end up smelling like a lemony dessert on me, quite sweet and creamy. i think that for its quality, the price is very reasonable and if you are thinking about a fragrance like this, avocado co-wash is for you !!

This is really nice! It’s a sweet, citrusy cream type of scent. This isn’t like other Bergamont heavy fragrances. It reminds me of the lemon cake from Starbucks just not as cakey and dessert like. Or like a lemon cream pie.. just not as warm. I would say this is somewhat cozy because it has that desert aspect to it, but not like a vanilla cookie or musk type of cozy. Just a fresh fun type of cozy. I wish they could have made this even more creamy though. It’s quite similar to the leave in conditioner lush has called super milk. This is probably my favourite scent from them.

This smells EXACTLY like those marinos lemon italian ices. Its sweet, refreshing, warm, and very citrusy without it being too obnoxious. On skin and clothing, it begins to smell a bit more like a lemon pastry whilst still having some of that freshness. I bought lush's curl cream and loved the scent, found out it was avocado co-wash and now im obsessed! I love using these two as well as a lemon massage bar and the longevity and sillage is insanely strong. Wouldn't describe it as a gourmand but it is definetly sweet in a refreshing summer fragrance way. Love it 10/10

This is a gorgeous lemon fragrance! If you like des cool taunt this is so similar and layers beautifully together. It starts if very citrusy but dries down to a soft citrus candy with some warmth to it. I love Chelsea morning as well but that one has toffee butterscotch notes that this does not have and I associate it with the fall / autumn/ winter season. This one however can be worn year round but I’m especially loving it for spring and summer. 10/10

A must try for Lush lovers. I can’t get enough of this... A gorgeous citrus (bergamot). I also get the incense-y undertone that is signature to a lot of lush scents. I am picking up on a pretty dominant scent of brown sugar. Not too sure where that is coming from. I am finding this very comforting over the winter, but this could be worn year round. I’ve been layering it with my Lush Karma lotion and the combination is so good.

Oh myyyy. It smells like Lemon ice cream. Or lemon pie. Or something lemony but very sweet. I do get a bit of medicinal feel if I smell it close to my skin - not a bad thing at all though, just makes the scent more interesting. Really amazing for summer, when you want something bright and not heavy. It does have quite a strong sillage though, but the scent itself isn't "heavy". Just amazingggggg I love love love it.

I originally fell in love with the solid shampoo of the same name, which smells so good I want to eat it (I didn't do it but the thought was there, lmao). This does smell exactly like the solid shampoo, however after awhile its very vanilla-y and sadly SADLY starts to give me a headache. I still try to wear it, but maybe I'll save it for winter to see if that helps with the headach aspect T..T

My favorite summer citrus smell! It's gourmand leaning, and layers so well with other summer scents like coconut or strawberry. I do not like overly sweet smells but ths is a fresh sweet smell that does not make you walk around like a baked good. Safe for my hospital job and has ok projection and sillage. The citrus zing with the amber note is a chef's kiss.

So citrusy in the initial spray, then it turns basically into super milk :) which I love! The dry down is so nicely candy-sweet. Has great projection and lasts 8 hours at leastttt. Stupidly beastmode body mist lol Definitely get bang for your buck since you shouldn’t spray more than 2 spritzes on. Safe blind buy if you already love super milk :)

Delicious, candied lemon pie ! I love it. It has some tanginess and some zestiness that makes it very energising and refreshing ! I love it so much and I can’t wait to wear it in summer though it is suitable for any season. Strength is very strong and so is the lasting power. Lush body sprays are a dream to wear !

This is THE Lush scent to die for! Zesty, sweet, tarty but not cloying, super persistent and with a similar dry down to Nishane's Ani. Nice additional feature: it's a delicious and very effective mosquito repellent: a major game changer in summer. Gotta be one of the best cheapies in my collection!

Sherbet lemon which turns into a lemon drizzle cake scent on me! Bought this since I’m so obsessed with the scent of the Super Milk hair primer and it was recommended to me on one of the forums. This doesn’t have that cinnamon bun/pastry esque scent but it’s close and it still smells lovely!

The notes are not exact, it is bergamot, litsea cubeba and olibanum frankenscence. You can't miss this signature scent of litsea cubeba, sweet and unique while the incense gives this very fine aroma and the bergamot blends in so nicely. I just love this, it is very uplifting and satisfying.

WOW! This is simply the best gourmand-citrus fragrance I've ever smelled. It's so yummy, so creamy yet at the same time truly citrusy and bright and sour. Smells really natural. Lemon sorbet in a waffle cone. Weirdly, the late dry-down smells spot on like Xerjoff 1861 Renaissance.

Punchy sweet lime fragrance, like the taste of a green Fruit Pastille. Very similar to Calacas and Zesty so if you like those you’ll be set. I don’t really see the likeness to Super Milk but I think they would compliment eachother well. A lovely scent for the summer.

Tart citrus candies. I get a mild creaminess but nothing cakey like other reviewers mention. I do really like this scent, but have found myself using it more often as a room spray. My biggest gripe is it's lasting power~ which is basically nonexistent.

I love this. It's giving me lemon heads and fruity pebbles mixed. I get a whisper of woodiness to ground it but not much. Lasting power on me is fantastic but I layer my frags (I layered w/Aqua Allegoria Orange Soleia to ground it a little)

Touch of avocado cream (or whatever I believe avocado in a frag would smell) with some bergamot bursts like lime and lemon skittles. CITRUS FRUITY, TOUCH OF GREEN CREAM AND BURST OF SKITTLES. Refreshing sweet creamy lively uplifting scent.

I have reviewed it before, but to add note: this smells very similar to Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi, this is even quite different from D&G Devotion and lean more towards Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi

I absolutely love this scent, it truly is a lime sherbet and smells so sweet on the dry down. Definitely for spring/summer but honestly I'm down to wear it whenever

This body spray is fresh as 🍋 and sweet as 🍰. So yummy! It was a love at first sniff. Edit: On me it has moderate projection and moderate longevity.

fruity pebbles/fruit loops for sure. the litsea cubeba in this spray gives it that mouth watering lemony smell.

This is my summer scent. Thats pretty much it if you love the smell of this you just have good taste.

I came into a LUSH store to buy the Super Milk hair serum which has been sold out for weeks at that point and an employee recommended this because "it's the same scent used in Super Milk" I tested it and it did smell nice but after I got my grubby little hands on the hair serum I can say that Avocado co-wash is not the same. Co-wash has a more prominent citrus note along with florals compared to Super Milk, which is more creamy and not at all floral. They both have that lemon dessert vibe to it, but Super Milk is like a creamy almondy lemon cake (i swear I smell a hint of cinnamon in it too) whilst Avocado Co-wash is a sugary lemon candy. It has that disticnt incensy Lush scent in the drydown and lasts about 5-6 hours, longer on clothes. I honestly prefer Super Milk fragrance wise, it lasts longer and it's not as sharp, on top of that it makes my hair soft. I rarely reach for Avocado Co-wash because it's a little nauseating when sprayed first. It goes away after 10mins but somedays I can't bear it, and I'm a gourmand fan.

Alright, I'm slightly disappointed in this scent due to knowing how much I love the scent of the hair product. I wish the opening was linear throughout and it did not end with such a smoky, plastic, burnt incense. Typically I love the classic Lush incense, specifically the one labdanum in 'What Would Love Do' perfume. Or the resinous qualities of 'Rentless'. However, I'm not sure if it's the zesty lime blending with it that attributes to the burnt olibanum lingering at drydown. I love the opening of this scent, with it's zesty, creamy, sweet citrus evoking a LIME SHERBET or SORBET. It's invigorating and uplifting and smells just like the hair product. But moments later as it begins to dry down, that moment is lost to the incense. I found that this smells best as a room fragrance rather than a skin scent. Perhaps it's no fault of Lush, and a preference or skin pH thing that turns this one into a lush bomb for me.

This smells like a lemon tart with a hint of vanilla in the beginning. It dries down to this vanilla-yyy lemonyyy goodnesss but it kinda has this weird sticky scent like play dough almost but it’s not very noticeable. It is very clean and smells a bit like pine sol in a way. I gave this scent away but MY GOD this is a beast mode fragrance, like once it was sprayed outside of my room and I could smell it in my room with the door closed. It leaves a trail too but this is also office safe and not really offensive for being beast mode. I would say that this is a safe blind buy if you like citrusy limey scents but would definitely test in store, a little more feminine but a guy could definitely rock this, also great to layer with vanilla and gourmand scents.

I don’t get where the sweetness comes from 🤣 but it is awesome it is like the clean sister of Let the good times roll. Yummy. I wasn’t expecting to like this one that much to be honest. Twilight was kinda meh for me, I hated Honey I washed the kids and Rose Jam... a friend actually enjoyed it so now it’s hers 🤣. No luck finding that sweetness from Let the good times roll that it is always sold out since TikTok... until this one. I love it. Don’t get me wrong they are not dupes at all, they just have THAT unique sweetness if you get what I mean. This one is kind of citrusy and Let the good times roll is pure caramel but the sweetness they leave once they have dried down is quite similar.

i like it. i wanted to smell like supermilk primer, and this is very close to it when moxong with strong vanilla scents like Montale sweet vanilla. to me it's truly original and interesting lemony scent. EDIT : im in love. going through my second bottle right now. i think it became one of my favorite fragnances ever - its not as sweet as supermilk, really fresh and i love spraying it before going to bed and also during the day. however i did initially get bored so currently waiting for 25;43 to arrive ;)

bought this bc of the reviews saying it smells like lemon cake and i don't get that AT ALL 💀 lemon for sure, but nothing about this reads remotely like cake or dessert to me. it's straight up artificial lemon hard candy, like a box of lemonheads. which i don't mind lmao, just not what i was expecting. if u wanna smell like sickly sweet lemon candy you'd buy from a cornerstore this is your girl!!

The descriptions are true, powdery lemon candy like Pez. But I find it so strong that I can barely wear it. I think it's the sprayers on the Lush body sprays, they are intense. This whole line makes great room sprays too because they last long. I have to spray this on clothes in advance to wear it.

It smells like lemon candies we used to eat and collect when it is fest time... It is nice, but compared to Rose Jam, the longevity and sillage is not that powerful. I layer it with Montale Vanilla Cake, that way citrus is less sharp, so i can enjoy it more

Wore this to work for the first time to try and as I walked through the doors, the first coworker I saw asked me if I was the one who smelled like vanilla cream 🙃❔

This smells JUST like 'Avocado Co-wash' solid shampoo...which is delicious! Zesty, uplifting and sweet, without being sickly.
