Barbie

My first thought upon spraying this on my arm in the store was "blech yikes, it's sweet, of course". After leaving the mall, my arm was giving off pure Lush scent. Like, a combo of everything Lush sells. That essential oil tinged, sweet, comforting, clean smell. A generic "lush soap" smell. I love it. Can't get enough. Bought 2 bottles because Lush doesn't have enough "general lush clean" scented body sprays, in my opinion. I don't agree with any of the notes, besides tonka. Tonka is the predominant drydown, but the cherry is mild, juicy, and natural. Orange is instead a generic bright fruitiness, and the almond is nonexistent. I get more of a lactonic, creamy cashmere instead of nutty almond, but I can see how they could be conflated. This is ostensibly a feminine scent but the drydown is definitely unisex, it just smells like Lush, period. A man would smell amazing like this. I'm actually mad it's limited edition because Lush has needed something like this for a while.

i have to say first, this doesn't smell like a barbie scent! maybe a hippie, nature loving, hairy-pitted barbie in birkenstocks but not what you would expect from a "barbie scent". definitely a lush smelling scent though. i think it smells like macarons (which makes sense with the almond note) and cherries, with a general "lush store" smell after the dry down. i don't get ANY citrus from the scent. smells more like a fruity candy or sweet than like actual fruit. update: layered this with my snow fairy lotion and it smells even more delightful!! definitely try it if you're a snow fairy fan <3

I tried this out in store and bought it immediately, I can see why people wouldn’t like it, but I absolutely smell almond in this. If you spray this and sniff almond extract afterwards, you can definitely get the hint. Super sweet, almost too sweet at first but dries down a lot nicer. Definitely for the more ‘bold’ people out there, but , limited edition, and delicious. Almost reminds me of their Snow Fairy spray. Even though it is definitely potent, it almost smells more natural to me

First of all reviews that just say "nauseating" and stuff are useless - they are mostly written by people who know nothing about perfume and just grabbed this because it said Barbie... but I digress. The notes listed here in Fragrantica are wrong. It is definitely a tonka fragrance but it is predominantly CHERRY NOT ALMOND. There is a touch of almond but basically this is a cherry-tonka-vanilla scent. Smells like cherries and vanilla-whipped cream to me. Some cherry scents smell like cherry cough syrup but luckily this is NOT the case. The scent is a more natural cherries and cream. It is definitely sweet but not as sugar sweet as Snow Fairy.

I went into this blind and was surprised when I read the notes. I refuse to believe there is almond in this. The initial spray is straight-up bubble gum to my nose. The dry-down smells like a pixie stick. As always, with Lush fragrances, longevity and silage are amazing.

I loved the Princess Peach body spray from the Mario collection and I really wanted to love this, but it’s not what I was expecting. An initial spray gives off a cloyingly sweet nutty cherry smell. As it dried down I noticed that it smelled kind of powdery, and soon reminded me of an old lady-ish scent. It seems like a more mature scent that doesn’t make me think “I smell like Barbie!” And I may be wrong but it also comes off as more one dimensional compared to their other sprays. I’m also not a huge fan of cherry scent so it could just be me.

Smells sweet like bananas on the opening, then it basically smells like the inside of Lush on skin. Cloyingly sweet in a bad way, I do love my sweet perfumes but not this one.

i really tried to convince myself that i love it, but it smells like wonder bread soaked in cherry cough syrup.

This was available in my local Lush so I tested it out today. The initial spray is powdered fruit like sweet tarts. The Lush associate said it reminded her of medicine which made me think of the children's Flint Stones vitamins and Pepto Bismol. The initial blast was actually the best. I never got almond/orange/tonka. The mid notes dry down to a more mature scent that is reminiscent of J'adore Dior or Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist (I can't pinpoint exactly which one because I don't own either but these were my aunt's favorite scents and the dry down in this Barbie spray immediately sparked memories of her for me). The final dry down is a gentle powder. Longevity is about 6-7 hours. The whole scent is headache inducing from beginning to end. I'm glad I tried this in store so I didn't have to go back to return this.

This is scent is a clustertruck of Lush smells! It literally smells like somebody flooded the lush store in the worst way possible, Imagine you are a Lush employee and its time for your lunch break so what do you do? You go to the back to take a big bite of marzipan of course! The taste of sickeningly sweet almond play dough goes amazing with the scent of every single bath bomb those teenagers and toddlers want to demo on your trendy little apron! The sweet notes are so extremely sharp and overpowering almost nauseating. I love Lush and their fragrances but I do not think barbie would wear this ):

hella late to reviewing this but genuinely have not used this once since buying, it smells HORRIBLE and i love almond & cherry scents BUT THIS IS SRSLY MIGRAINE INDUCING😭long lasting if u like it tho

Sprayed this on today at Lush and it made me nauseated.

put me in my place as a gourmand girl, ive finally experienced what many call 'cloying' sweetness. not like the way certain vanillas nauseate me, i dont dislike this nearly as much, but the intense, aggressive fruitiness, combined with that nuclear sprayer (never used a lush spray before, dont know what i expected but you really need to aim away from the face as much as possible or you will be tasting the fragrance), its altogether a hyperfeminine assault. which is maybe what they wanted, barbie being more beautiful caricature than woman, this could very well be her signature scent. i think this would make a nice room spray if you have a cute pink room for collecting girly toys, old mlp's and popples and the like ^_^

This smells like plastic-y Barbie dolls mixed with fizzy fruity smarties candy. There can be a real plastic vibe I’ve found in some of the Lush body sprays. I saw a review of Rose Jam body spray where the influencer described it as having a plastic smell. After that I couldn’t unsmell it. There also a cheap Bazooka bubblegum smell to it which also gives me that waxy, fake smell & taste. This is really girly and really does take me back to taking a fresh Barbie out of the packaging. That smell memory is so happy for me that I actually grew to like the smell of plastic a little bit. However, this is a bit juvenile for me and it doesn’t fit my personality now, my vibe, or my age so I’ll probably sell it.

I am a sucker for sickly sweet scents so this is right up my alley! It gives syrupy cherries (not medicinal to my tastes but I could see others being more sensitive to that) plastic doll with that sweet orange +almond oil tang. Comparable to snow fairy with the plastic sweetness but still very different. The abysmal lasting power is a shame.

I tested this yesterday in store and I am shocked seeing the listed notes now after the fact. All I got was an extremely fruity sweet smell. I simply cannot believe main accord is almond. It's more like a candy smell to me.. extremely sweet. I

This smells like the bitter almonds ( they have a distinct cherry-like scent) + a bit of milk and tonka. It is quite close to snow fairy. It’s loud, unusual and Iike it.

@Strawberrykitty3 finally a real review 👏 I am curious about the scent and was hoping for someone’s real opinion! This perfume really does provoke trolls and red-pilled
