Love this scent so much! I picked my bottle up in Tokyo, Japan as we didn't get this limited edition perfume in New Zealand. I should of grabbed another bottle because it's so addicting to wear. The notes I get are sweet, nutty and coconut vibes the name 'Barbie' definitely describes suits the scents. Also the more I wore this the more it reminded me of walking into a Lush store it's got that 'Lushy' scent as someone else described in the reviews. So if you love the smell of a lush store and all the scents mixed together then if you can still get your hands on this fragrance pick one up asap! :)

Smells like you walked into a Lush and they just had a delivery of Snow Fairy soap and Creamy Candy bubble bars, then someone bought up all of those, and so you are left in a shop with the usual Lushy scent in the air. I love how Lush does tonka and this did not disappoint. This is so good I had to buy a backup bottle. I'm going to be very sad when I run out.

This fragrances smells like a Lush Store would smell in Barbie Land! It encompasses in it the smell of almost all pink Lush products, from bubble bars to bath bombs to soaps and shower gels, it even has a hint of the smell of some old dusting powders! From old Spice Girl bath bomb, to Candy Candy Soap and bubble bar, the Think Pink line, it has also something of The Comforter bubble bath, of the old beetle shimmering body oil, of course it smells very similar to Cristhmas favorite line Snow Fairy, and many more. Opening is bubblegummy and lactonic, I distinctly pick up a milk accord mixed somewhat with strawberries, which then fades in to that very peculiar Lush store smell; there is a hint of fruity candied orange, more syrupy then fresh, then the smell of Snow Fairy Body Spray follows, but less synthetic. In the mid we have a strong black cherry note (amarena), it smells somewhat synthetic but still very enjoyable, it is so fruity and sweet, very Barbie, but at the same time not cloying or unbearable. This part is very similar to Snow Fairy but it is less sugary, and lacks the candy floss note. The Lush product that most of all resambles the scent at this point is an old soap which was amaranth in color but translucid and it smelled like a mix of pure bakck cherry and light orange notes, with just a hint of candies (in Italy it was called "Fate Voi" and it was a sort of prototype of Snow Fairy). In the dry down the almond note gets more strong and so does the tonka but luckly it's not too much sweet and marzipan like (I was afraid this would be the classic amaretto smell, or something similar to the new version of Zara Cherry Smoothie, or Rouge Smoking by BDK, which to me are too cloying). The effect is more nutty and powdery, not 100% gourmand. Also, I think a delicate floral presence plus a touch of olibanum saved the scent from going in to sickly sweet territory. The olibanum used by Lush adds a beautiful refined finish as always. All in all I can say this fragrance is a very sweet, powdery, sugary, bubblegummy pink fragrance with a delicate floral presence and a good soft base. I think it is a more intense and sophisticated version of Snow Fairy but without the candy floss/cotton candy note. I started to use Lush products almost 13 years ago, during a period of my life in which I needed color, fun and pleasant aromas so this Barbie fragrance is extremely nostalgic to me. I would have probably like it even if it was extremely cloying, sweet to toothache and all synthetic but I must admmitt the scent surprised me for the best. Performance are great on my skin, it lasts for about nine hours, it projects strongly for the first four hours. I think it is best suited for winter and it could be great layered on more unisex scent. In terms of comparison I can only say that it is very different from Zara's Barbie, only dry down could be slightly similar but Zara's Barbie has a more confetti tonka as a base, marshmellow and also a more fresh opening.

This launch really excited me, I bought this perfume and the body balm straight away (definitely recommend the body balm it’s 10/10). The perfume. I like it, but it didn’t give me Barbie vibes. To me this smells like the Lush store, you know that scent of several clean sweet fruity soaps. It’s enjoyable, with a notes of cherry Bakewell. I’d class this as a clean gourmand scent in my opinion. It doesn’t smell like Snow Fairy to me, SF is much more of a bubblegum girly scent. This is quite a sophisticated scent for a Barbie launch. Is it needed? No. Should you get it? Yes if you love the Barbie hype going on right now. I blind bought this and can say it’s blind buy safe.

I don’t get the bubble gum or the Snow Fairy vibe at all. It’s not my favorite Lush scent although I love many of them. The almonds are very noticeable but it’s fruitier than you would think looking at the notes, I was convinced it smells like plums or plum pie until I checked them. It’s unique but flat, very girly and warm, I can see myself wearing it in colder months, but it’s nothing special. I wish it was more sophisticated and had more layers like us real Barbies!🎀

Bubblegummy, snow fairy in a perfume bottle! Smells like a bonbon dream, but it is only for limited occasions as it is quite strong and linear. It is indeed addictive like the shower gel, it was a limited edition bottle during Christmas time so I grabbed a small bottle. Like mentioned, apart from almond I also get the cherry note mixed with a touch of coconut.

Slightly sour cherries and fatty (in a good way) buttery almond cookies. This cookie aspect is super realistic, the butteriness is quite prominent and it’s delicious. Pretty and unusual fragrance. I don’t find it similar to Snow Fairy.

picture pink. glitter. bubblegum. the opening is basically snow fairy. now picture that intensifying... and then drying down into a soapy smell. suddenly you're wearing the entire lush store all at once.

When I first smelled this I thought "Tom Ford Lost Cherry dupe?" Still, I want it.

Smells of pink bubble gum, Juicy Fruit gum, Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles & Creamy Candy Bubble Bar blended up with vanilla ice cream! Lasts MUCH longer on clothes. I like it (BTW I hate Snow Fairy & American Cream!). Sadly I cannot wear it as it affects my mood & puts me in a really bad mood & makes me so irritable (another perfume that did that to me was Sikkim Girls). It's a shame because I really do like how it smells 😟😞

I tested this in the Lush store and I was so surprised by how much I liked it. I do get a bit of a Snow Fairy vibe but as one of the reviewers below has stated, SF is more bubblegum and sweet, whereas Barbie X Lush is buttery with sweet and sour cherry. I went away to other shops and I would still get wafts of it and I was hooked. I just couldn't resist going back to Lush to buy a bottle. I adore it.

My husband told me I smelled like a cherry Bakewell while wearing this, and he’s totally right. Really sweet almond-cherry baked goods with oranges. It’s ok, I don’t love it, almond just doesn’t seem to work well for me, and this is very almond heavy. It doesn’t smell anything like snow fairy to me (and I love that one). I do get the “lush shop” smell from it though.

This smells like a LUSH bath bomb. Fruity, clean, tart and coconutty. On blotter it's initially citrus-bubblegum, on skin softer and more complex: The almond comes off as cherry, magnolia adds a clean aspect and there's a clear coconut (not listed). Strong performer sillage/longevity-wise and just the blotter laying around works as a room scent.

Sweet, creamy marzipan and glacee cherries. Soft, feminine and carefree. Wish it lasted longer on the skin. Doesn't smell like Snow Fairy AT ALL in my opinion. I work for Lush)

Really wished I could smell the cherry and marzipan. But on me it just smells like I rubbed a snow fairy bath bomb on my wrist.

Starts really well as Snow Fairy + a big dose of sweet almond oil. Dries down into the smell of a bunch of LUSH bath bombs, baking soda dry and detergent-like smell included. Such a shame, I’d have loved a creamy almond version of Snow Fairy but this one becomes very harsh and a bit screechy :(

The opening is pure cherry cough syrup, like you're smelling Lush x Tylenol PM. Personally, I find it straight-up gross. Then it becomes like a cough syrup that is Lush store flavored and as the cough syrup fades the Lush store comes through more and more. At that point, I would compare it to 29 High Street. Unfortunately, I sold mine because I don't want to smell like a Lush store so I can't do a side-by-side. It's at the dry down that I finally get the Snow Fairy comparisons. But at this point, if that's what you're looking for, just get yourself a Snow Fairy body spray. They're coming up with one again for Christmas this year. This is only my very first day wearing this. I'm disappointed but I'm hoping I can come back to this another day and find something I enjoy here. I blind-bought it because I was really, really excited about this collection but had I tested this in stores first, I would've passed.

This perfume has a very powerful start with the smell of bubblegum, a very sweet pink bubblegum with hints of cotton candy with which to blow a big bubble. After a while I notice a certain creaminess that makes me think of the coconut note. In the more advanced drydown, despite maintaining that bubblegum note as a constant throughout its development, it begins to become slightly incensed. It has a moderate sillage and lasts about 8-9 hours. Well, it's a perfume that I like especially at the beginning but it hasn't left me wanting to go back for more. So, although I enjoyed it the day I wore it, thanks to the kind shop assistant at Lush who let me try it on, I'm not going to buy it. Smell 6/10 Duration 8.5/10 Sillage 7/10 Quality/price 7/10 Versatility 6/10 Packaging 5/10 Would I buy again? I did not buy it

It is such a great scent. The Cherry is very strong there in the dry down after a few hours, from marzipan to Cherry. At first it is just a very nice Lush shop scent as if many scents were mixed... and then you get the Cherry Vanilla vibe. I like it. At the end it turns into these Chinese erasers scent we all loved as kids. Last about 8 hours on my skin.

Agree with everyone who says this smells like the lush store. It's that blast you get when you're within 5 metres of the front door of the shop. Every bath bomb all at once. Weirdly addictive. Fizzy. Cavity inducing sweetness. Not like Snow Fairy. Almost has the same sillage as a lush store too.

It reminds me of Snow Fairy but somehow it ends up being a super sweet, but at the same time, chilling bubble gum. I like sweet scents but this was just too much.

The girl at my local LUSH said it smells like a toned down version of Snow Fairy. I’ll wait to smell it myself, but that’s what I’ve been told

Tried today at Lush. It opens with a strong almond note and after it merges into Snow Fairy with a typical Lush DNA.

This is a mix of almond and bubble gum. It is girly and very sweet but a bit linear. Not a love for me.

Jesus, they are just milking this whole Barbie thing, which admittedly i have not even seen the movie.

This won't be available in US Lush stores or online. We're just getting a body spray.
