If the Ophelia painting had a scent, it would be this. Floral, herbaceous, cold and aquatic. Delicate and emotive. Quite beautiful.

I’m a big fan of Lush fragrances and always write a review of the ones I own or have tried. I can’t write one for Betel as it’s so light as to almost instantly disappear on my skin. Sun in comparison is a veritable beast! A pity as the main accords sound promising.

Smelled in store and the opening is the mango and then the coriander really hit. Initially liked it a lot but the coriander/davana/anise was a little too strong after a minute. Would def sniff again though to give the drydown a little longer and see if it mellows out and the jasmine note comes through more

I think the one i smelled on paper in the store was different. The opening smelled so much like an ashtray that I didn’t even wait for a dry down.
