Creamy Candy

To me Creamy Candy and Snow Fairy are cousins, not sisters. Both exude "if pink was a smell" energy, but SF is fruity and unashamedly synthetic, whereas CC is a powdery vanilla with hints of violet. They're both extremely sweet so I definitely understand why some insist they're the same scent -- it's like how I feel like Grass and Tramp "basically smell the same" even though every time I say this I get an inevitable barrage of WTF?! responses LOL. Scent is subjective et cetera... Anyway, I'll copy & paste my thoughts from my review under the 2012 formulation: Snagged a bottle from the re-release and I'm pleased to report it smells the same as my 2012 bottle, though noticeably lighter/softer. I'm not too concerned though, it's a freshly made perfume so should grow stronger with age. For now I'll put it aside and allow it to macerate a bit more. **EDIT: well, I have to eat my words. I'm beyond gutted. On release people were comparing this to smelling like Red Bull and I couldn't see it at first, but as my bottle has macerated and grown stronger I can smell it... it's NOT the same as my 2012 bottle. Like okay I know that one is over a decade old but it ACTUALLY smells like the bubble bar, this 2023 version smells sweeter and more synthetic and almost like it has a beer/yeasty note to it. Ugh....

This is a really soft, powdery, strawberry-and-vanilla scent, it’s not as bright and strong as snow fairy, but they are in a similar vein. It reminds me of their candy fluff scent, but that was more sweetie shop, and this is more strawberry candy. I love it, it’s super sweet but not cloying, very girly but I don’t care, I smell lovely.

Wanted to like this based off of the description and other comments but there's a synthetic cloud that overshadows the powdery sweetness offered by it. By the time the plasticy smell fades, so does everything else. To me it smells more like trying to smell a strawberry, creamy taffy through the wax paper wrapper. There is a tinge of vanilla but I smell the creamy strawberry more. WIll let it sit for a while to see if it's having an off day or if macerating will help, but for now it's giving car freshener where the cardboard card overpowers the fragrance itself.

I’m happy to have this but as other reviews state, it’s basically snow fairy. Even my Husband who uses Snow Fairy shower gel and also knows my body spray smelt it and said "That's Snow Fairy"! It’s slightly less fruity than the current snow fairy body spray but essentially it is snow fairy in a (light!) perfume concentration. The vanillic creamy candy comes through in the deep dry down but the perfume has become a skin scent at that point. It's almost white chocolatey before it disappears and it's a shame that doesn't come in sooner, because that's the part that diverges from snow fairy and actually smells creamy. This is the one I’ll wear as it works a bit better on my skin than snow fairy body spray. I’ll use the body spray on my bedding! Yes it’s a bit of shame that this isn’t quite the creamy candy people wanted but I think it's worth having.... I just think Lush might have annoyed a fair few customers with this and supermilk as neither seem to smell the way people were expecting, but I really like both! Wish they lasted a bit longer though.

Love,love,love it sooo much.It is very nutty gourmand fragrance,very strong,with good projection.I feel a lot of the sweetness from vanilla, sugar and fruits,also the heart of the seed from apricot.Do not compare to fairy snow,there is a very small similarity.
