Golden Pear

this is a delightful scent. a very fresh, almost tart pear and apple cocktail that coasts in on a subtle wave of cardamom and baking spice. almost makes me think of a tart-yet-sweet green apple pie. i will note, my boyfriend thinks this smells like fresh blueberries after it’s been rubbed/disturbed on my sweater, so even if there’s some discourse over what fruits we’re picking up, it’s a very fresh, holiday-appropriate spiced fruit fragrance. incredibly versatile, too - i find the freshness of it energizing and playful but the warmth and subtle spiciness comforting and relaxing, so it feels appropriate for almost any occasion. i love lush’s sprays to bits, and this treat for the senses is no exception!

So my first ever job was at Lush (albeit for 2 weeks, after which I was fired). But every shift I would treat myself to spraying this absolute masterpiece. This fragrance is the only reason why I started wearing Angels’ Share, at an attempt to replicate the feeling I found in this. The most juicy, golden pears simmered in booze and spices. I can smell it if I think hard enough. I’ve never found a perfume like this in my life and I don’t think I ever will. Lush made a dire mistake discontinuing this! It had amazing sillage too and was more like a perfume than a body spray

The first minute is alcohol and has a bubble gum vibe... when alcohol dissipates, it turns into spicy apple strudel filling, but think of apple strudel filling but now apple is replaced by pear... slightly sweet and spicy and powdery, stays close to skin... as the previous reviewer said, this is nowhere potent as Rose Jam and Twilight... a comfort scent! Good for spring, fall and winter.

Heartbroken that it's discontinued. I've tried all the dupes and recommendations. Killian's Angel's Share is nothing like it. Way too boozy, missing all of the fruity/sweet/aquatic notes. Legni Fruttati has similar pear notes but is way too woody/masculine. If anyone finds anything like this, please update me. I'm out of my mind trying to find a suitable replacement.

Sweet peach Candy and smells like gummy bear, taste like food edible 😊, I bought it bcuz when i spray together with lemon tree garden it's more freash sweet and in the room feeling more comfortable.

I love it. It is weird smelling and sweet.

Lovely pear in the opening, dries down like a mulled spicy thing akin to Angels’ Share, Oajan, Layton, Tobacco Vanille, etc. Frankly, it smells very similar to Tabac Rouge by Phaedon with a dose of pear (and apple!), and it has the same candle-like quality. I personally prefer Golden Pear for its stewed pear-apple mixed with spices over Tabac Rouge and its other siblings.

Very much an autumn scent to me. It's warming and delicious, like a baked dessert. I agree with the almost bubblegum like note but for me this just lasts a while at first, and then you get this stewed pear with an almost cinnamon like quality. Just makes me feel warm and cosy!

Its refreshing pear. Perfect for hot summers or when you want to use a refreshing fragrance to sleep. It wont last you many hours or have a good projection. Its just like a nice body mist. If you love pear. I think you will like this.

At first it smells like kola soda to me. It’s a bit fruity but with a very spicy element. Towards the dry down it gets very spicy. I like the fruity aspect of it but not a fan of the spiciness.

Acheté lors des soldes lush d'après Noël. C'est très sucré. On sent bien la poire mais pas au premier abord. Une senteur d'hiver résolument. Je ne l'aurais pas acheté au prix plein par contre.

I have the new incarnation of Golden Pear and it’s unusual. It’s full-on juicy pear on first spray but when the cardamom comes through it takes a turn. To me this has a sort of cooked green apple and cinnamon scent, almost a touch boozy. I kept smelling my hand and sort of enjoying it but at the same time knowing I don’t want to smell like Golden Pear personally. I’d like it on other people for sure, but on me it’s not quite right and that’s because I get green apple from it (whether or not the perfume actually has apple in it!) and it just can’t get along with green apple in perfumes. It’s not exactly masculine, but I suspect I’d like this one more on men than women. Think Spiced, Mulled Cider, that's what it smells like to me.... or mulled Perry! As with most modern Lush body sprays and perfumes, this smells rather strong at first but doesn’t seem too last long, however it outlasts the current formulation of Twilight and Snow Fairy as well as - believe it or not - Sticky Dates, which is so strong initially that it gives me coughing fits, but somehow seems to be relatively fleeting after dry-down?!. Speaking of sticky dates, it would probably layer well with Golden Pear and give you more of an Angels Share feel!

I really want to like this body spray because I like the pear tart fragrance I get an hour after spraying... but the strong acetone scent in the beginning makes it so hard to wear. I thought someone poured nail polish remover in the bottle as a prank when I first tried it on! The acetone scent doesn’t disappear quickly either. I really don’t know what to do with this!!

Very yummy, smelled like a Christmas spices & pear bubblegum somehow. Marketed as a body mist but really long-lasting & projects quite well. As much as I appreciate its gourmand quality, it ended up being a little bit too much for me--- not totally the vibe I wanted I guess. I blame it on the bubblegum feel I used to get from it.

DISCONTINUED so stop reading . LOL. So glad I bought this BEFORE Christmas because they were a limited edition . Zingy pear with a sorta LUSH candy/bubble gum base. Not as long lasting as their ROSE JAM body spray. With a total LACK of pear based fragrances on the market-- this is a keeper. Nice big bottle too! I only wish it has a nice package/presentation. I hate the LUSH black & white packages & labels . Just looks cheap and ugly.

I have not logged onto Fragrantica in years but after receiving a sample of Kilian - Angel's Share today, I can't get over how identical the two fragrances are! I'd highly recommend Lush - Golden Pear as a long-lasting dupe for Angel's Share. The price tag is certainly more welcomed!

The best pear scent. There is a kind of soup in my country, it's a fruit soup with apple, pear and/or sour cherry, sour or whipped cream and many kind of christmassy spices like cloves, cinnamon, star anise. Its smell is exactly like this body spray. Beautiful :-)

I love this one so much! It's cozy, soft, feminine, spicy and fruity all in one. Definitely can smell the notes. Not very long lasting but I really enjoy this scent. Lush x Wicked Glinda's Tiara soap smells the same btw.

Review for my own reference - I had the bar soap of this and it smelt amazing!
