Lord of Misrule Body Spray

I bought it on sale a few days agо. Half price (50% off). Last year I tried the shower gel (they gave me a tester), and I literally didn’t want to use it up xD, so I used it only for washing my hands. I felt like eating it! And honestly... it’s not fair that LUSH products can’t be eaten :))))) The spray? This is something else... I don’t know. I sprayed literally one tiny dot on my forearm and... wow! To me, personally, it smells like LUSH: the definition of LUSH! It feels like it has always smelled like this whenever I walked past one of their stores or stands (even though I know this scent is from 2014). As for patchouli... no idea :I ... Patchouli-machouli: I have absolutely no clue xD. I don’t really know what patchouli smells like. Earthy? No idea. I don’t understand notes at all. But I know one thing: it smells fantastic. Warm, delicious, inviting... it makes you want to find the love of your life and curl up under a blanket, while fairy lights glow and small scented candles burn around you in a dark room. This scent pulses with love. I’m so happy I have it! Plus, I also bought the shower gel. I can’t wait to scent myself for work! I’m really curious how these winter, anarchic mornings in my little country will smell :)))))

This is what got me into fragrance back when i first started working at lush it was the first release on halloween it was a green bathbomb at first and i was so shook when the following year(or something like that) they brought it back as a perfume. i would spray this on my self religiously bought 2 bottles every year until i moved on somewhere in 2016 and now this is the most nostalgic scent to me. it brings back so many great memories but most of all it really takes me back to my goth era as pretentious as it sounds. the vanilla and patchouli blend so well it makes it smell like a real sweet incense and then adding the pepper adds this smokiness. i get such a metaphysical experience from it. its dark and hippie at the same time. its an aesthetic but i still come back to it because im still that lil dark kid at heart.

This is incredible! It's so sweet and spicy and earthy, I've never smelt anything quite like it. It smells like autumn air and has a slight smokiness to it, like a bonfire in a damp forest (in the best way possible). The projection is even greater than that of the perfume imo, and it lasts 24+ hours on skin and even longer on clothes. I definitely feel this is better value than the perfume purely based on the performance and volume you get for the price, but both are wonderful.

A warm scent made of spice and sweetness, all the ingredients are perfectly balanced, it’s honestly the best smell in the whole damn world!! The body spray is a seasonal Halloween exclusive, but the perfume is all year round <3

love love love!!! people always say that i smell like incense or a crystal store which is my favourite compliment to receive. i'd been looking for a fragrance that gave off that vibe and blind buying this was a great decision

This scent is the reason why I love fragrance as much as I do today. It all stems from the original bath bomb, and I finally got the body spray and It's like a dream to me. Next step is to get the perfume!

smells like a head shop with some oily bitter lemon peel in there. whimsigoth practical magic space girl new age witch vibes. the scent that made me fall in love with patchouli one of my favs forever

this is a staple for the fall/winter. and for a body spray, it performs better than most of the perfumes I own. maybe the best thing lush has to offer.

I adore the smell, but only buy if you LOVE it. Smell it on anything I wore no matter how long ago I wore it.

I have the perfume, body spray, and the massage bar. The massage bar is the sweetest.

Likable and appealing peppery smell with a sweet vanilla undertone.

Pepper. I got this after reading reviews of people saying it is sweet, some saying TOO sweet, and heavy on patchouli. I love both sweet vanilla and patchouli, so I grabbed it. Unfortunately, on my skin, all I get is that everlasting spicy pepper that makes you want to cough. I never smelled any vanilla or sweetness at all. The patchouli is there, but it’s barely peaking out behind the pepper. I’ll try it a few more times and also on clothing to see if anything changes. I’ll also use my husband as a test subject to see how it reacts to his body chemistry. But, for now, it’s sadly a no for me.

I really like patchouli. This is just too cloying and linear for my taste. The dry down gets you a hint of leather and the pepper is present the entire time. Perfomance is great tho (8 hours plus), as per all bodysprays from Lush you get a shotgun instead of an atomizer. Good stuff for the price, but not for me.

i have this one but i hate it and can't wait to finally be rid of it. in the store when i gave it a test it smelled so unique and new - a little spicy but not too much... but then the scent never really calmed down. it stayed so intense and spicy that it just gives me non-stop headaches. if you like the scent you'll be pleased that it seems to stick around forever and never fades, but if you're like me and hate the strong and striking patchouli and black pepper combo... yeah, no.

I sprayed this on my sleeve in lush and I had to wash my jacket because the smell would NOT leave it is the worst scent ever

This one is a bit more fresh than the perfume. The perfume is incredibly heavy on the vanilla while the body spray is spicy, green and fresh with a hint of sweetness. Definitely dries down a bit sweeter but still has that fresh spiciness. I feel like newer batches of the LOM perfume are too vanilla-heavy for my liking so I’ve really fallen back in love with the body spray.

The initial blast of patchouli literally fades so hold on because it gets really good after 15 seconds! It quickly goes into the mid and you get this sweet, earthy, sensual aroma. This is a very unique blend of earthy sweet! The body spray performs like a perfume totally worth the money. It lasts anywhere from 7 to 8 hours easily! Too bad the spray is seasonal!

Bought this but ended up having to return it as it reminded me too much of Karma, which I used to love before it started to make me nauseous (I suspect because of how intensely sweet it is and how it clings to clothing even after washing). I would have preferred it if it was heavier on the green, and lighter on the sweetness.
