Mossy Bottom

I was on the fence about blind buying this because a lot of earthy perfumes smell too harsh and synthetic but I was not disappointed in this. This really does smell like sweet, fresh grass. My friend said this smells like a forest fairy when I let her have a spray of Mossy Bottom, she took a picture of the bottle so she could buy it 🤣 It dries down to a soft, warm sandalwood with citrus. I have to say this is now my favorite Lush scent, I'll be sad when this gets discontinued

A lovely worker at Lush gifted me an almost full bottle of this tester, since I was upset because Guardians of the Forest wasn’t in stock. It’s vibrant and green from the beginning, and although I’m not a fan of spiciness, it’s balanced. I wouldn’t say it’s a photorealistic freshly mowed lawn, but it does resemble it. I love the dry down even more, as it gets softer, but it’s not something you have to wait for to settle down, since it’s not sharp. If you’re the worker at Lush in SoHo, I owe you one; it was great to talk to you!

Did a review on this, smells good love the scent and the longevity of this fragrance is decent on my skin, it gives a vibe of the tenis balls. To be honest it is a good price its a good scent, great longevity, i would give this fragrance an 8/10. New balls

I love green notes, so this was a great find! It smells of very fresh grass when you initially spray it and dries down to a fresh bergamot. The grass smell is very strong at the start. After a while it has a lingering sandalwood,incense-like scent.

I really enjoy this, it is very true grassy green scent, very masculine. I would be really curious though to pair this with a more citrus/bergamot heavy scent to see if it brings some more depth to it, or even a sweeter sandalwood scent.

Perfect for fans of Cacharel's Eden, but not for me. A tricky, but fun fragrance I would have liked more were it not for my difficult relationship with certain green scents. It opens promisingly; an earthy, grassy blast of natural green notes. My favourite, if perhaps the most divisive aspect of the fragrance. It sweetens up on dry down into something near-identical to Eden. A cloying, heady green aroma that doesn't sit at all well on me and results in genuine headaches. For this reason, I had to unfortunately pass the fragrance on. A very good effort and fun theme, none the less.

It's cute and green, very bright — seems like a perfect dupe of grass. It smells slightly salty, and the neroli is similar to the one in Big. The smell stays almost the same from beginning to end. It kind of reminds me of a guardian of the forest(but TGOF is much ́wetter ́, gloomier and darker).

similar to elphaba except that one was more celery and grass, whereas mossy bottom is sweet-honey grass. if you're a grass lover, this one is for you!

I tested a sample of this in store and good heavens it was a terrible idea to get it on my skin; the spray had a strange purplish hue that stained my sweater and even worse, the scent lingered for three days. The scent is indeed *grassy* but the sandalwood note was a terrible mix for me, even the lush employee was a bit taken aback by how strong it was. It radiated a good distance but it was even more obvious as I walked about the mall smelling of tractor blades, that, general public wasn’t a fan either.

This is the scent that made me realise how much I hate bergamot in perfume. It smells so sharp and horrible to me, I have a visceral reaction whenever I smell it. Such a shame because I love the grass bodywash but this pulls so bitter on me?

Employee asked me if I wanted a fresh nature-y scent. I was recommended to try this. She sprayed it on me. Smells like moss and grass, like when you mow the lawn. Horrible, not my thing

If you’re like me and obsessed with the grass shower gel but really disappointed in the grass perfume..TRY THIS! It’s not 100% the same as the shower gel but it’s like 95% there where I feel that the perfume is like 60% and definitely too dry and powdery and misses out on the bright & zingy citrus elements. This one is still missing the wheatgrass juice that gives grass shower gel that sweetness but it’s still a lovely and lively scent! This is officially my first full size lush body spray and I’m in love 😊

I am 40, and a lifelong Aardman fan. Rude not to have this, really (especially at currently 50% off in the Lush sale). When I tested this in the shop on my skin some months ago, I got very light, green, fresh, almost powdery. I spritzed the bottle from my order today in my hair this afternoon, and I'm inexplicably getting wafts of Obsession for Men. So spice-forward and warm after that initial green flash.

I would not recommend blindly buying this, as I did. Thankfully, Lush is nice enough to let you get a refund even if you've tried it. Personally, it was too strong, but it's impressive how similar it is to actual grass! I did, however, like the drydown after a few hours when the citrus comes out more.

Very photorealistic bergamot and freshly mown grass 🌱 It is exactly what I imagine Mossy Bottom smells like (if you ignore the pigsty obviously 🐷) I didn’t buy it, but if you like fresh green scents, this is perfection 👌🏻

Smells just like spring time with freshly cut Grass in the air! It’s addictive
