Olive Branch

This is my favorite scent. Lush Olive Branch body wash (the old formula) is the first way I experienced the scent. It's like a mix of the old Jean Nate body splash (citrus-musk) and Barbasol shaving cream (both have oakmoss, I think?). Much more cirtusy-soapy-musk than sweet or flowery. I love it. Not at all synthetic-smelling--it's perfect. Cake and Barrel makes a Olive Branch dupe as a roll-on and a moisturizing body splash (with coconut oil). Both smell just like Olive Branch, but they are not long lasting and don't project. As of June 2018, Lush has a limited edition Olive Branch body spray. It mostly smells like the body wash--maybe a touch more lemony/orange blossom/floral? And the dry down is a bit like a wet-wipe--sort of pleasantly soapy. The projection isn't great and it doesn't last long on me, so for the money, I'll be repurchasing the Cake and Barrel roll-on in the future. Glad Lush made this, but hoping for a stronger perfume version.

I once smelled this when I bought a soy candle tart, and it was the dupe under a different name. I was so mesmerized by this scent, that I searched for hours and hours on the internet to track down something that could lead me to it (to me, it was that unique, and i wanted it bad), and finally i found it under a different name (its rightful name, olive branch) and bought some. to me, whenever i smell this perfume, i feel like God himself is giving me an olfactory hug, and reminding me that the little girl who had a rough childhood is made innocent again. I don't know anybody who doesn't like this perfume; it is unique to all, and really does give a sense of peace and calm. To me, it is my signature scent, and if I was asked what single fragrance I'd wear for the rest of my life out of all the different ones in my collection, I'd wear this one. there really ought to be a super love button...

If Greece and Italy had a baby, it would be this perfume. The best of the best, of these 2 countries. The soft waxiness of olive-leafs. Yes, when wearing this perfume I can almost feel it between my fingers, how the scent gets more intense when I rub a thick olive-leaf between my fingers. And yes, this scent makes me imagine life of acient Greece. And heroic Greek women wearing this during the hottest month of summer. Then comes the richness of Italy. With Italian bergamot, ultra-fresh unripen citrus-fruits dominates the begining, without harshness, or getting sour. . . But soft and comfy. And then, the best of the worlds get totally combined - after 2 hours sitting on my pulse-points. Pure bliss. I feel pure love for this fragrance. It's ideal for summer. A hug in a perfume, recently rereleased for a short period i managed to get my hands on a bottle of the perfume. The smell of the showergel is similar to the perfume, but as with all perfume it settles on individuals skins differently. On me, personally, the Olive Branch warms down to a sweet, almost jelly bean scent with bergamot and orange radiating from the core. This scent is neither seductive nor is it fresh and bright, it is more a personal scent. A perfume you wear for yourself as a comfort and a warmth.

This is like a comforting hug when you wear it. This is the same scent as Lush's 'Olive Branch' shower gel, infact, it was a perfume way before it was launched as a shower gel - normally with Lush, it's the other way around. They'll have special perfumes, with the scent of products in the shop, sold for a very limited time and a limited number made. These fun 'Forum Specials' are not the best examples of Lush's fine perfumery.

I used to love this. I had the solid perfume, and have gone thru many bottles of the shower gel, so I was really excited to get the Olive Branch body spray. Wow, I don’t know if it has changed or my nose has, but the body spray is absolutely awful. It literally smells like bergamot and strong cat pee. :(

OMG, they had The Olive Branch perfume too? I know only shower gel, first sniff was like: ok, I will not throw it away.. but one week later I was thinking about going to take a shower just to smell The Olive Branch. Love it...

Warm, musky, lightened by citrus. I wore this at a low key, new year's eve party, spritzed in my hair. When I got hugged, I got compliments. There were a majority of 20-30-something-yr old men, and I didnt want to stand out nor be "flirty" with a perfume as a wife. The Olive Branch is quite unisex, as intended, but it's soft enough for a woman to carry it off as "feminine." Note: I got this as a freebie with a Lush purchase online. I don't know if I would've bought this alone since I like it, not love it.

This smells identical to the Olive Branch shower gel which is an obvious plus. One of the problems with LUSH perfumes that are meant to smell like existing products is that they aren't what I would consider "good perfume smells". It does smell very good and could work as a unisex scent. The mandarin, while sweet, isn't overpoweringly feminine. It's more of a novelty for the Olive Branch shower gel lovers than a stand-alone perfume though.

If you added delicious savory oranges to Barbasol shaving cream! Mmm! Very comforting, but a little overwhelming on my own body. Smells divine on a dude, although I would place this firmly in the "unisex" category for those who follow such things. I get a hint of something overly sweet that makes my head hurt a bit. Like a musky vanilla. Still awesome though.

Awesome. Unisex. It has a soapy feel to it, and has some orange or citrus scent in it. Smells similar to the Body Shop White Musk. It's a winner!

i've tried this scent in several products, and in the perfume, and all it ever smells like to me is White Musk. (halfway between The Body Shop's White Musk and... Tide.)

As someone said before, after literally 15 minutes, cheap musk. All I can say.

Olive Branch has been described in various places as "a warm hug" of citrus from the Mediterranean. Indeed, for the Italian Lush shops it is called "Mediterraneo" and does really well there. And it's true, although not stated in the notes, a warm white musk tone in the base sets this off to be an enveloping, warm hug of a scent, with memories of bergamot above all, and a Mediterranean feel. I would even say this could be a unisex perfume, as it is citrusy enough not to be too sweet. Perfect to brighten up your day if you feel down, as well as basking in the sun of a citrus grove, watching the sun rays shine through the leaves.

The top notes are a really wonderful blast of warm citrus. After 15 minutes, all I got was 100% cheap musk (someone else mentioned White Musk and Tide - that's about right, or insert whatever associations you have with cheap musk here). I have tried it on skin and fabric with the same result. I would be raving about this if the drydown lived up to the fantastic opening, but for me, unfortunately, it doesn't.

I missed out on this as a fragrance, just got it as the shower gel and I loved it...warm, comforting, summer in a bottle...creamy, herby and fruity..pls bring it back!

anyone knows if they're selling it somewhere online? Is it still avaliable at all? I can't even find it on LUSH website ;(

The opening of this scent is very good, but the driedown is awful, I smell a hint of catpee....
