Snow Fairy

i've given this one some time. it's a very bubblegum-adjacent scent--nebulously fruity, but still very cherry forward. i didn't even notice that what i was smelling was the pear note but i can understand why some people describe it as festive/christmassy. it's definitely more refined and easier to take apart than actual bubblegum is, but still pretty artificial and maybe even slightly medicinal. the strong cherry note actually reminds me of those chewable pepto tablets, and wearing it out i had someone comment that i smelled like cherries. honestly, my biggest issue is still its performance. for a body spray, it's great, but its perfume alternative was discontinued a while ago so this is all we really get. it does last throughout most of the day, but the sillage is surprisingly snug for such an overbearing scent profile. halfway through the day, it becomes a vaguely sweet scent that i can only really pick up by pressing my nose into my clothes. right now, i usually just spray it a frankly excessive number of times to maximize its performance. of course, that comes at the cost of being a bubblegum nuke for the first twenty minutes or so. i'll admit that the value is a bit undermined--at least for me--due to how much of it i've had to go through to get proper results. it's honestly my favorite fragrance at the moment. it's a genuine candy gourmand--it has some depth but it isn't doing too much with random floral or musky notes. either way, you're not going to be leaving anyone indifferent.

I'll always have a bit of a soft spot for this scent. In November 2022, I caught covid and lost all sense of smell and taste for three months. I won't bore you, but this battle lasted nearly two years, and the complete anosmia turned into parosmia, where everything stank of skunk, garbage and sick. It was an extremely debilitating time, something I wasn't sure I'd get through as a perfume enthusiast. Around January 2024, my partner and I were shopping and something compelled me to smell this perfume, and oh my god, I could smell it. I remember dancing around the store with tears in my eyes that I could smell something the way it was intended. He was so excited for me, he bought me a bottle on the spot. Yes, it's childish, frivolous and a little ridiculous smelling, I mean, It's called Snow Fairy, but this fragrance is also carefree, delicious and so long lasting. It's artificial cotton candy while you're waiting to ride a roller coaster in a theme park. It's a girl in a barbie pink sun dress with white sneakers in the sunshine while you're chowing down on a sweet candy apple. It's a woman dancing around a shop in pure excitement that her battle with parosmia is finally fading. I can't help but love it and smile whenever I wear this. Is it ground-breaking? Of course not, but it does put me in a good mood and my fiancé lovingly nuzzles me whenever I wear this. I'll probably always have a little bottle of this from now on.

I don’t actually have the body spray, but I have the body wash, lip mask, and lotion. I can’t help but adore snow fairy. It’s something I would’ve never allowed myself to indulge in for years, but now i’m fucking cringe...but I’m free (please read that in a Lana Del Rey Voice) It’s basically just cotton candy, bubble gum tape, those powdery hard banana candies, and a splash of cough-syrupy maraschino cherry. I (probably, maybe) wouldn’t wear it outside my home. Snow fairy reminds me of circa 2013-2015 pink tumblr aesthetic, you may know what I mean if you were also a teen girl in that era. Starbucks, Victoria’s Secret, early Ariana Grande, Soap & Glory and Philosophy bath products...you get the gist. I didn’t know about snow fairy then, but it still makes me feel nostalgia for scrolling through Pinterest during Christmas break with a mini pink Christmas tree in my room. Snow fairy is absolutely everything the negative reviews say it is: juvenile, gauche, puts even the sweetest gourmands to shame with its pure, sickly confectionery-ness, and yes there is indeed a hint of plastic. But what a treat and a joy!

A youthful, happy and fun candy scent, quite lovely in my opinion, even though I’m 38. I’ve had the shower gel and soap bar for over ten years and just recently got the body mist and I was quite surprised by how strong it is and by the insane longevity, one spray is more than enough and I can smell it all day! I only wear it during fall and winter, it’s too much and too sweet for summer, at least to me! It may be too much for some, especially since it’s so strong, I love it but it’s too much for me sometimes. I like to layer it with vanilla scents/fragrances so I sprayed one spray of this in a small (3 ml) decanter bottle/atomiser and then filled up the rest of the bottle with a plain, non-sweet vanilla fragrance and I now find this more “wearable” for everyday use. But even though I only sprayed one spray/pump of this and then filled the rest of the 3 ml (about 30 pumps) of the other (vanilla) fragrance this is still the most noticeable scent/fragrance in the mix/decanter! And one to two sprays of that mix-bottle is still usually enough of the Lush Snow Fairy fragrance!

okay, i was given the snow fairy body wash for christmas. at first i wasn’t too sure on the scent but after a couple days i was completely obsessed. i would literally go into the bathroom, smell the bottle and walk out!! ive had my eyes on this body spray for a couple of years and since i love the body wash so much- i decided to buy it as it was half price. and im so glad i did!! its extremely strong, so you really only need one or two sprays. i like to spray it once in the air and walk through it, then again but flip my hair through it. it’s not too overpowering that way!! for me- it’ll last around 10 hours, maybe longer. as for the actual scent, on skin it settles to a soft bubblegum scent. it’s quite sweet but not too sweet imo. after a while it actually starts to smell quite soapy- it’s like a sweet version of a ‘clean girl’ scent. i might love it so much because i’m on the younger side, older people don’t seem to like it. but i think it’s perfect for a teenager or somebody in their early 20s !

so. freaking. CUTEEE!!! So nostalgic! It makes my inner child happy. My boyfriend said this reminds him of circus peanuts but in a good way. Personally, this reminds me of bubblegum-flavored medicine or banana Laffy Taffy or rainbow sprinkles. I don't mind the artificial accord; this actually makes the scent even more charming to me. The artificialness I speak of isn't a plasticky scent but more of a manufactured candy sweetness; kitschy. It's very potent, like a candy bomb, so I wouldn't wear this outside if the temperature is above 60°F (15°C). Unapologetically girly and playful, I feel so bubbly when I reach for this scent, it's a good pick-me-up for when I get those winter blues. This is NOT for people who hate sweetness and whimsy fun! People who are seeking a more grown-up and balanced gourmand should never step foot into the Candyland realm of Snow Fairy, otherwise, they'll complain that it's cloying🙄The girls that get it, get it and the girls that don't, don't!

For me, this is exactly what you smell when your walk past a lush shop. It is a complex scent, artificial scent and I personally love it... it makes me feel clean and girly. To me it has a sort of fizziness that I can’t really explain. It also doesn’t really make you smell like you’re wearing perfume, but rather like you’ve washed with strong fragranced products and still smell of them hours later. It is a very artificial, sickly sweet smell, but not sweet in the way I think many people are put off by. For example if pink sugar is too much for you then you could still easily like this (which is my case). The vibe is gives me is the popular teenage girl in secondary school (but the nice one) who always looks effortlessly clean and put together, still very natural and she smells subtly of this. Perfect scent for teenagers however I’m not one and still love dousing my clothes in this so I don’t care🤷♀️

I know that Lush body mists are a little pricier, but what a great value! The atomizer has a very tight spring, so it feels like a power wash when you apply it. I have the glitter spray so maybe the spring is a little tighter to prevent the glitter from being too concentrated. Either way, I really appreciate when the atomizer has careful consideration for the product. The price is similar to Nest body mists, which barely last an hour. The longevity beats some of the EDPs in my collection. A little headache-inducing, very bubblegum, and smells a little like cinnamon, but I would consider this a girly, year-round scent, not a holiday one. If you like the Lush Bubblegum lip scrub, you can smell like it with this body mist. Note: Lush staff told me that the glitter was really heavy, but it's not. It's less concentrated than OneSize glitter setting spray, for example. You can also spray it on your hair!

Be prepared to smell like something out of Barbie & the Diamond Castle for the entire day. I have been purchasing this spray yearly for around 7 years now. It is THE indication that Christmas is around the corner for me. It is so worth the countless "excuse me sorry", bumps around a busy Lush shop, and an additional £50 spent on other Snow Fairy scented things, such as the shower gel and body cream. The scent is so "pink" to me - bubblegum and cotton candy with notes of strawberries and citrus. I completely understand why this is viewed as a love it or hate it perfume, however. It definitely one of the strongest sweet smelling perfumes I have ever came across, and at times it can even get too much for a sweet tooth like me. It is one which I can recognise on people from a mile away, and one that I start sniffing at like mad whenever I pick it up on those nearby.

In 2024 i went into a lush for the first time. I heard amazing things about Snow Fairy. I smelled it. It smelled like circus peanuts and red 40. In 2025 i go back and i smell it again. Im blown away. It’s amazing. Snow fairy mind control had made its way into my brain and i need more but unfortunately its January.. I own the bodywash, glitter spray, lotion, perfume, and dusting powder. I live breathe and die by snow fairy. It smells like fake candy, like bubblegum but it is super sweet and synthetic. my fav kind of candy perfume! sickeningly sweet. Dont listen to anyone saying it smells like cotton candy!!!!!! its more of a bubblegum scent in my opinion. It lasts on me for literal hours i swear on clothes it wont go away until you wash it. love love love but its definitely not for people who cant stand sickeningly sweet scents

I bought this mid December, I hadn't smelt it before but I thought hey I'll give it a try, if I don't like it I can give it away. On first smell I thought oh dear god this is vile, way too sweet, almost headache inducing. But then a strange thing happened, after a while I kept smelling my arm that I sprayed it on and I was in love with it! I mean I'm like a snow fairy crack head at this point. I've used up nearly all the small 100ml bottle in four weeks and I've already bought a large back up bottle! I'm not sure what is in this stuff but all I want to do is smell like it! My other perfume are very confused and concerned for me. This just makes my soul happy and I really can't explain why! Anyway, not really a review, more a cry for help in the midst of this weird addiction I find myself in🤣🤣🤣🤣

can't believe i haven't reviewed this one. snow fairy has been a staple in my collection (and shower) since 2017. let me just say right off the bat if you're someone who doesn't like SICKLY sweet and cloying fragrances, this isn't for you. but that's fine, more for me! it's literally bubblegum, cotton candy sweetness. that's it. i do get slight notes of vanilla cherry, but this is truly just a bubblegum cotton candy fragrance. i just love it. i don't care that it's "childish", it's just too good. the bath bombs and shower gels are also some of the best ones ive tried from lush. i love love love sweet fragrances so it's right up my alley. i feel so feminine and cute when i wear this fragrance. i will definitely repurchase, i can't go without it. ♡💌

10/10, anyone who loves straight up bubblegum and cotton candy scents would love this. i miss her. i lost her when i moved out of state ): this lasted forever especially on my blankets and clothing! i’m sure i annoyed people around me with this one but i don’t care!! snow fairy is fun, i’ll have to repurchase the dusting powder of this if lush releases it again. i loved using it to keep my greasy bangs in shape and give myself some sparkle combined with the spray. this isn’t super heavy to me, but it is noticeable. def a year round fragrance but it feels more magical in cold weather. is she “immature”? to some people, sure! but who cares? she’s sparkly, plush, pink, and fuzzy. another synthetic guilty pleasure that i adore.

smells exactly like everything else in the snow fairy family. pure bubblegum with sweet cotton candy notes. i don't get the banana or medicine scent that everyone else seems to get. when first sprayed i got a poop-like scent but it faded away after a few minutes, not sure if theres something wrong with my bottle (bought off mercari its from 2022) or if it might be the synethetic musk in the spray giving off that scent? so if you experience that don't worry it will smell normal soon. best if layered with the lotion. smells more like a "barbie" scent to me than the actual lush barbie scent. i actually think they smell nothing alike i don't know why the barbie body spray keeps getting compared to SF.

very endearing & lovable sweetness from snow fairy. ive had multitudes of lush's products scented with snow fairy, including their body powder, massage bars, lotions, shower gel, spray, etc over the years & while i am definitely a fan it's not something i would wear unless on special ultra specific occasions. i definitely love it on other people though, and it reminds me dearly of someone dear to my heart. it's stay definitely depends on the person & whether or not youre spraying it on clothing but it does stay long for lush's body sprays. be careful & not generous! (i have made the mistake of having one of them spill during a move, it was bad.)

BEST FUCKING SWEET GOURMAND PERFUME EVER!! I have been wanting this perfume for months and my friend introduced me this perfume. Oh my lord it literally smells like pure candy and a little bit of nostalgia. As someone who grew up with candies and sweets gosh I maybe at this before. I got the glitter mist pray version instead because lowkey the unisex/og smells like perfume gasoline to me. Which don’t like at all but the glitter perfume smells like actual snow fairy it is!! Sweet, girly, dreamy, and unicorn poop. I love this so much and so happy I got it. Will definitely use this for parties or day time activities.

Proud to say I got this in the shower jelly and dusting powder for Christmas, after knowing of this scent and being curious about it for years. We don’t have a Lush store in our state so my mom blind bought this and had to warn me it smells like circus peanuts, which I agree with. Smells very much like bubblegum or cotton candy but not like any other scent I could compare it to. Very strawberry-y. I like it but can definitely see how it can get nauseating and am glad no one gave me the spray. Still will be fun to use throughout the winter!

I don't get why fragrantica put cotton candy instead of the main character here... which is the bubble gum. Very sweet and bubble gummy, so cute and perfect to layer with a marshmallow perfume or just a very creamy - sweet one ! It's not too synthetic in my opinion, if you like bubble gum as a note in general, it's alright. But if you really hate sweet perfumes, this one is sadly not for you ! I needed a bubble gum perfume to layer Kayali Vanilla Rock Sugar with, and it's the perfect combo !!❤

I'm so obsessed with this scent! I remember hating it as a teenager, but I've surprisingly come to love it in my mid-20s. I get pure bubblegum from this, not really any cotton candy. I also don't smell the cherry, it smells more like a hint of raspberry to my nose. But everyone is certainly different - my mother compared the smell to cherry cough medicine. But I love it so much that I've bought the glitter mist spray, body scrub, shower gel, body lotion, lip mask, etc. I can't get enough!

Love it, but definitely not for everyone. Probably the sweetest fragrance I have ever smelled. I spilled a large quantity of it once, and all I could think was "why does it smell like those chalky banana pick and mix sweets in here??" Sugary and sweet in a way I find hard to nail down precisely. Sort of a bubblegum overall, with hints of that artificial banana I mentioned in there. My dad once said I smelled like a lollipop when I walked in wearing it. Very edible, candy vibes.

It should be obnoxious but I honestly love it. Circus peanuts, bubblegum, powder, marshmallows, cherry, strawberry, banana. Terrifically unserious stuff. I think the best way to wear—no, experience—Snow Fairy is with the 100ml bottle/lotion/shower gel gift set, as mentioned earlier. The bar soap's great as well. Personally, I use SF as a bedtime fragrance, though it can definitely be pulled off as an everyday thing if you're that kind of person.

Cute! Fun! Not very fairy like...When I think of fairy, I think of something natural. This is very synthetic, almost like a pleasant smelling medicine, not the herbal kind though! Very sugary kinda’ chemically smell. Like tasting a cheap lollipop or bubblegum. The cherry is very much there, I don’t really get a whole lot of cotton candy. Maybe it’s what’s giving it that chemical scent? Like a subtle note of drug-store cotton candy body mist.

I’m a Yum Boujee Marshmallow and Strawberry Snowflakes hater but tell me why I absolutely love this? It’s exactly what I wanted these perfumes to be. Instead of nauseating, cheap bs, this smells like the perfect candy scent with a hint of sugary strawberries. I’m so obsessed I got the body scrub (which smells even more delicious somehow), the scrubee, lotion AND shower gel. 10/10. The longevity is amazing as well 🥹💗

Sickly sweet cotton candy, bubble gum, and cherry. It’s actually great. It’s one of those “sometimes” scents. I wouldn’t wear this to the office, but after a bad day at the office, come home and shower myself in snow fairy. The soap, perfume, whatever. It makes me feel better. It smells (to me) like a carnival candy shop or something. It’s like a stress free, candy spoiled childhood in a bottle.

Bought quite a few of these not nowing how strong and lasting the scent it. Its so sweet, one or two sprays is enough. I need to be in the mood for it as it is very sweet. It's youthful and fun. Today I layered this however with dark Cherry from banana Republic, ( I've never layered before) and I quite like how it helped make it less sweet and added a bit of spiciness to it.

the best lush body spray other than sticky dates imo... it's super girly and sugary which is my favourite kind of scent. it's absolutely a controversial smell as it can be cloying to lots of people... but in my opinion (which might not be the best considering my track record for buying nauseatingly sweet smells) it smells like caramel, vanilla and bubblegum and i adore it ♡

i adore this body spray! smells so sweet like i could just chew a piece of my arm off. it reminds me of those scented pencils you would get at the book fair called smencils, the cotton candy scent to be exact! so nostalgic! first spritz reminds me of bubblegum and at first i was like... err ohh?? but the dry down is phenomenal i love it and it makes me feel super sweet.

I loooove this scent; it's the perfect sweetie fragrance! Personally I don't think it's worth the money, however, as it doesn't last more than half an hour but maybe it's my skin chemistry. I tend to have a spritz before bed, where it doesn't matter that I can't smell it anymore. I prefer the bathbombs in this fragrance, where I can smell it on my skin for ages.

Smells like Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum, I'd say ripe bananas too! This body spray could be considered a 35$ perfume because you don't have to spray a lot. It is very strong, concentrated and lasts all day long. On me it smells like sugar and bubble gum for a good 6 hours and towards the lasts hours it starts to have this clean musk scent peeking through.

I was a die hard snow fairy girl in high school and college. I remember trying to get whatever snow fairy scent product Lush had. I really liked spraying this and using the snow fairy dusting powder everywhere on my body (and as dry shampoo LOL). I don't have any snow fairy products now but I think I will grab a body spray in the winter.

I bought the snow fairy set including the body spray for Lush’s Boxing Day, and it was love at first whiff, this smells like candy and bubblegum: sweet, yummy and cute! super girly, I’m absolutely obsessed. I do have to say that if I spray too much I get a little nauseous from the sweetness overload lol. so 1-2 sprays is enough 🎀

amazinngggg. all of my friends LOVE it on me, smells even better after a few hours. its clean, sweet and really girly. last on my hair for days and the glitter powder is even better. i recommend buying the set, with the 100 ml, the lotion and body gel for 49$ canadian ( i think or 59) + the powder for 15$. coup de coeur !

Sweet candy, caramel, vanilla , cherries AND the smell of the entire LUSH store when you enter the mall.... lasts ALL DAY LONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST BLIND BUY EVER 🍬 this smells like straight up jelly beans and pink bubblegum. it does come off a little like childrens medicine but im literally in LOVE with this scent it's not as strong as people say it is but i think my batch is weaker. a million out of ten i wish i found this body spray sooner 🥹

Smells exactly like Red Rock/Country Club strawberry soda from the Dominican Republic, it's a summer scent for me due to that reason but I see how the sweetness can lead to it being a winter or autumn scent. That's mainly the scent for an hour or two but when it dries up it smells like bubblegum powder.

I can’t believe that out of all my perfumes, the one that gets me the most compliments (and literally the only one to get me constant compliments now that I think about it) is SNOW FAIRY. What is my 200€ BHE good for? This smells gorgeous but wtf. I don’t even like bubblegum or cotton candy

i didn't think i would love this as much as i do! this is exactly what i imagine princess bubblegum smells like! it's super sweet but not in a way that makes me feel sick and overwhelmed, it's super addictive! think the cotton candy body fantasies spray but grown up!

my favorite scent ever! such a nostalgic smell of powdery soft bubblegum cotton candy. this smells like cold weather, like walking through fresh glittery snow. it's very strong, filling a room when you spray it. to me thats a good thing since i love it so much.

second favourite lush scent so far. if you want to radiate unicorns and sparkles this is the one. smells like a cotton candy dream land i lovee!! super long lasting and I get the most compliments on this by everyone!!! worth the money i get it every year!

I got the hand soap last year as a Christmas present and I loved the scent sooooo much, I bought myself this as a present today. I love it because it’s very sugary but it manages to avoid being sickly. I just wish it was a year round thing !

smells like the orange circus peanuts candy. so yummy and long lasting! someone said it smells like pepto bismol.. which it does.. but who says that's a bad smell?? it's super cozy and nostalgic for me, so this is the perfect at-home scent

One of my all time favorite scents. Pink cotton candy, cherry, and bubblegum that lasts all day long. I want to bathe in this scent! I know this is meant to be a holiday scent, but this totally works for Valentine’s Day🍒🩷🧚♀️

people love to act like this scent is overhyped but i am not lying when i say this is my favourite scent. the pear note works so well and it almost has an artificial banana smell to it. its so warm and sweet and cozy

i love snow fairy it’s so gorgeous and fun it smells like candied fruit. as a southern hemisphere girly i’m in awe of how perfect it is for both summer and winter and encapsulates christmas for both hemispheres.

I used to hate Snow Fairy, but after I picked up a sample of Snow Fairy Milkshake Shower Gel, I couldn’t get enough of it. To me, Snow Fairy smells like sweet banana candy.
