Snowcake Body Spray

I never got to try the original Snowcake perfume, but I quickly fell in love with this iteration. Most almond perfumes read like cherry to me, but this is the real deal; almond and marzipan, endless and unchanging. There's also a tinge of rose, just enough to give it a little zing. When it comes to essential notes like almond, vanilla and rose, I think each of us is looking for a particular version that comes from and lives only in our imagination, drawn from memories that belong to only us, and therefore nobody can guide us in finding it; we're all looking for different things. Snowcake is my almond.

Smells just like marzipan and icing on a Christmas cake such a fun cozy fragrance so glad I got backups

Sampled in store: It’s like you decided your plain and unsweetened (if there was ever such a thing) marzipan wasn’t almond-ey enough so you added a CRAP ton of baking almond extract to the mix. It's kinda weird in a way I got no clue how to explain but I really adore... There's something almost plastic? slightly in the background, but a good creamy plastic... Like you are rolling around your big ball of marzipan on a mildly floured cutting board made of waxy-creamy soft-plastic unscented doll skin (yumsy). I think it's actually due to a little of that general Lush-store-smell (which I like), but anyways It's really not at the forefront of the scent... just only if you are really focusing on the smell. Do not blindbuy this if you don’t like the scent of almonds and specifically almond extract. I love the scent of almonds and I love the scent of almond extract. I love Snowcake. And her name is charming in itself... "What are you wearing?" "Snowcake." It's so cute and fun to say. Thinking of snagging a bottle since Lush already hooked me on their body sprays with Sticky Dates. Update: I should've bought her instead of Sticky Dates. Fml nooooo

I tested the fragrance at Lush and regret buying it, so it was more of an impulse purchase. It's not the worst fragrance, but it smells very strongly of marzipan and almonds, which I actually like, but it's very powdery and has a strange after-smell something dusty idk 😖 I would like the fragrance more if it had a vanilla base, so I'll have to layer it

If you want to smell like nappy sacks and baby powder, this is the one for you 🤢. I don't recommend. Currently using my bottle as a toilet air freshener spray!
