The Wild

Not a Sauvage clone, but more on the lines of Sauvage Parfum. The underlying notes are mostly the same, except for the addition of Ambroxan in place of vanilla and the absence of the elemi note. Anyhow, I for one always believe that a clone is a clone and there are no 100% copies of fragrances. The subtle nuances in Dior and Chanel fragrances are what makes them stand apart in designers. Coming back to The Wild, it is an interesting fragrance, when I first sprayed it on, my mom remarked that it smells like you just stepped out of a Barber's shop. I however found it to be a darker fragrance after the first five minutes of fleeting freshness. The Lavender note is quite prominent, hence why the Madre's comment on the barbershop vibe, the drydown feels quite soapy because of the olibanum, ambroxan and lavender mix. The sandalwood is evenly balanced and although it includes tonka bean, the scent at no point becomes sweet. Since it is quite cheap, I use it very often as a go to fragrance for random visits outside. All seasonal scent? Definitely yes Unisex? Quite masculine Blind buy worthy? at this price and performance, yes! Performance? Longevity is easily 7 hours and plus, projection is moderate (I might be wrong here, as per 2 comments received I could be smelt from more than an arm's length). Price? Very cheap ( I also have Loyal Agar, which inspite of the horrendous name, is a suitable clone of the heavily copied PDM Layton, separate review incoming)

Another perfume I own from Luxodor. Cant believe no one has reviewed them here yet. Chose this instead of bandit as it smelt more fresh and I have a thing for fresh smelling perfumes. It reminds me of armani code but is much stronger smelling

Opening is sauvage then after some minutes it starts to smell soapy. Not good though. It smells like cheap soap mixed with an old man skin. It's so harsh and smells like piss

It definitely has the Sauvage vibe, but it's really not a clone of it. I say it's about 50 percent Sauvage. It has that soapy-fresh-abroxan smell in the dry down. On the skin, it lasts for about 4 hours. But on clothes, it's 8 to 10 hours plus. The projection is good too. You can still smell it at the 8th hour mark. You can wear this in hot or cold weather. Safe office wear. Very versatile Overall, I like this. Luxodor perfumes have been impressive for me so far.
