(Review of the Eau de Parfum) Beautiful shady conifers, mossy earth, soft rose, incense and lavender mist—violet leaf utilized expertly to aid this effect. Bergamot provides bright freshness at the start, complementing the naturally citric aspects of pine. I absolutely adore this scent. It really does evoke a foggy fantasy forest, secrets and mysteries lying under every mossy stone... I admit when I first smelt it I was a bit put off by the strength of the lavender, but soon I was able to see the rest of the scene and still now consider it one of my favorites that feature the ingredient prominently. Makes the blend all the more dreamlike! Would definitely consider it relaxing/therapeutic, especially given the botanical nature. Sillage moderate, longevity excellent. Priced competitively among niche. Bravo, madames!!! Long live LVNEA!!!! Fragrance similarities: Motif Olfactif’s Sentier des Pins also features a lovely aquatic facet alongside pine, but rather than the lavender found here—substitute a voluminous jasmine.

The dream conifer scent I've been searching for. Has a perfect ratio of spicy and green with a touch of wood. On my skin this projects noticeably better than the other lvnea scents I've tried. However, I wish it lasted longer than 1- 2 hours (I can't say I'm surprised though as this is a botanical perfume house that I'm assuming doesn't use many chemicals or artificial agents to prolong scents natural strength/wear time). Nevertheless I definitely will be buying a full size soon. Also layers nicely with other scents (in my experience, this has increased its longevity as well).

It leans very floral on me, like walking through a mossy forest lined with purple florals and rose. The woodsy notes are subtle. On me it smells remarkably like Duende by Fantome, but that fragrance I thought leaned far too floral when it promised a foresty scent. This fragrance by Lvnea is what I imagined Duende would be: floral but far more complex and mossy without leaning fresh. (I still love and wear Duende, but think I would repurchase this fragrance instead if I were to ever run out)

Something about the way the violet and frankincense combine adds a special twist to this- both are cool, slightly sweet, and smooth (without being too powdery). There's a freshness to this that is almost minty. It's unique in the coniferous-incense genre in that it has this whimsical floral vibe to it. Forest nymphs wearing bias cut pastel-coloured dresses to a moonlit rave- very that.

A bright, dewy, fresh, full of life forest, with berries, wild roses, rainfall... It's totally transportive. This also has incredible projection and lasting power! I only need one or two sprays for a strong scent aura. So special.

Beautiful. Dry down reminds me of zoologist elephant which I also love.

This is one of the darkest scents I have ever smelled. Very strong; I smell notes of incense and something of smoke that isn't mentioned in the notes above. It's beautiful. It smells like a pine forest - crisp, sharp, and earthy. The moss, rose, and woods shine through behind a layer of smoke and woods. It's a lot darker than people describe. Most of the reviews here state it's bright - I don't get that. Very unisex. I'd argue more male, but I could see anyone pulling this off, in the right setting. That's the hard part about this fragrance: I can't quite imagine when I'd wear it.

Pine, cypress, and oakmoss with a touch of bergamot. No florals. Some light frankincense lemony notes. It's a very realistic representation of conifers, resins, and the vegetation of the forest floor. Cucumbery violet leaf and rose pop in as it develops to add sweetness and freshness. It's a soft, balsamy forest. It becomes a bit more pungent over time. Finally, a lemony, fresh frankincense in the final drydown. Very likeable and wearable. Between ok and a like.

This scent opened with a punch of cypress on my skin, and put me off initially, as I do not particularly enjoy cypress, I've yet to understand this note. However, cypress fades fairly quickly and the dark, resinous, and realistic pine comes through. I like the dry down very much on my skin, but not as much as I enjoy Ghost Pine. The violet leaf comes through, here and there, but not that much.

It's a little more floral and sweet than woodsy, at least to me. Leans a little powdery at times. Definitely one of their more feminine scents. I'm having a hard time agreeing with the main accords, but maybe that's just me. Still a nice, heady scent though, in the way that a lily smells.

Got a sample set from Lvnea (highly recommended). They use all natural plant-based oils...and I love the dark foresty vibe from the house. A nice pine is in the forefront here, whereas the combo of the violet and olibanum seems to create a desert spiciness...like the resiny pines one would find in the high mountains of Nevada or Utah. Cypress is present as well. For natural oils both longevity and projection are excellent. This is not a beast mode fragrance, but I get 8 hours with it turning into a skin scent after 2-3 hours. It isn't really a sleepy forest, but it is alive and vibrant! I'm really enjoying exploring the Lvnea fragrances. I just need to decide which I'll purchase a FB of.

I recently discover this Montréal base perfume house. In her botanical perfume oil line, I smelled very interesting stuff. April Lea have definetly an olfactive signature. A dark ''lunar'' touch far away from sunny perfumes. It's logical that Lvnea means day of the moon. From her botanical perfume oil, I like Améthyste and Frosted Flowers .La forêt dormante is really beautiful but I'm in love whit Rose fantôme...an her new boutique/apothecary shop on Avenue du Parc in Montréal. A very unique place.

It’s a nice herbal tea-like scent but it’s way too strong. Put one spray on my wrist and it gave me a headache.
