20 Years

This is a very interesting perfume. It lasts well and projects well and we can tell immediately the quality. It is fruity in my opinion. No a young fruity, a grown up, sophisticated, complex fruity. It is light, but does not lack depth. It is not linear, but does not transform too much. You can smell all several layers from the get go and it keeps its complexity throughout the wear. To me, this is signature worthy and can be worn all year long, any time of day. It seems to be such a well hidden gem (nobody talks about it!) that I know I will smell unique when I wear it. We can tell from the smell it is niche. I'd say it is timeless and I feel like there is something old school about it, like with many Micallef perfumes. I do seem to love patchouli and I'd say that here the patchouli is beautiful, not at all too much. Anyone can wear anything, but this is a feminine perfume. Edit: I'd like to add that the opening is tart and juicy. The tartness smoothens with time.

I blind bought four M.Micallef on their website when there was a sale. This is one of them. It was my least favourite of four at the beginning. It's a bit too sharp, too fruity and nothing special but a fruity floral scent. I tried it on my skin and let it develop anyway. The sharp notes subtly faded after the first 20 minutes and developed into a fruity sweet but soft scent. It is pleasing and not loud at all. After about 4 hours when it completely dried down, I sniffed on my forearm and the base note simply blown me away. It has different layers even though I can't name it. It isn't warm so I probably won't wear it in the winter but basically it's good for all seasons. Sillage and longevity is good. Now it becomes one of my staple perfume to go.

A true perfume. Deep, rich and multilayered. A statement and a charm. It is ultra feminine - sweet, floral, fruity. Starts very fruity but dense because of jasmine and patchouli. It is a fruitchouli in the way Coco Mademoiselle's heart works. Addictionally sweetened by caramel. It is perfect for winter and autumn but I am wearing it today in 21° sunny weather and it feels substantial liquer-like and stunning. It reminds me also of House of Sillage Love is in the Air. Better for the evening and free time in such a weather as this is honeyed and ornamental. I love it.

I just bought this, and am about to get a back-up as it's being discontinued (unless I'm mistaken). Cant even begin to say what I smell.. It's like a spicy, fruity, patchouli with an aftertaste of vanilla and wood/oud. It's delicious on me - albeit a bit disappointing when it comes to sillage. Will try again in summer. Right now I just want to bathe in it. It's incredibly comforting.

OMG i just got a sample of this and its amazing floral woody with nostalgic accords , smells so elegant refined with high quality ,, an hour later i order a big bottle 😍 cant wait to try it with bokhoor

So fitting for a colder, autumn and winter weather. It's so balmy and deep then. As if flowers and fruits dipped in honey. Multidimentional, addictive, gorgeous.

Watched a few review's regarding other perfumes from this house, most have been very hyped up, not sure why. Ordered 6 perfumes when on offer (complete blind buys) this was one of them, was going to be a gift except it had leaked slightly so, decided to keep it. Ordered this from a review on M.Micallef official site, out of the ones ordered and even the samples sent this is the best. The review on M.Micallef say's "reminds of a Rich Auntie" and I would agree, this has that expensive smell. I don't love the perfume but I do like it, live in a country where the weather can hop seasons within days. This would work any time, night or day and would say any season but, would not buy the 100ml even on offer as it does not last long enough on skin and does not last on clothes. Noted the price as ok but this is because I purchased this at less than half price. At full price; this is overpriced for how it performs.

I got a 10 ml travel size from the 2022 Advent calendar. On my skin, 20 years is very fruity, fresh, and woody in the dry down. It's vibrant, fresh, sparkling, and very suitable for spring and summer days. Sillage is moderate, and longevity is about 6 hours, more on clothes. Very very nice.

Not unpleasant. Starts off sweet and fizzy, but dries to clean, dryly floral, soapy. After the initial kick of sweetness fades it’s classy, gentle, elegant mother-of-the-bride perfume.

This threw me for a loop and not in a good way. Smells 'old' to me, like something from the late 70s/early 80s. This smells jarring and jumbled, as though the notes are all fighting for attention, and I'm personally not impressed. This is the second Micallef fragrances I've tried that has been sent straight to the bin.

This is a complete mess on my skin - total scrubber and actually quite nauseating. All I'm getting are some discordant bitter, sweet and sour accords that I cannot identify as notes, a bit like sweat that has been disguised with a perfume. Maybe this will work on you, but I would try before buying.

It does not sit well with me and I have a bottle with box to sell.

I think that justice hasn’t been made for this gorgeous perfume, therefore I decided to review it myself even tho I am usually a reader not a writer. So, it is a fruity floral but in a special way, has nothing to do with the popular juices of now like La vie est belle, Scandal, Good girl etc. You need to let this one develop, in like 20 minutes in hot weather it smells like heaven, you can feel caramel with wiffs of vanilla and exotic fruits with a bit of jasmine, and there comes the white musk and a pinch of patchouli. Its very sensual and feminine, not intoxicating or too sweet, just feminine and not common, definitely not common even tho the notes are very used in other perfumes. Maybe its my skin chemistry...maybe you should give it a try and let it develop a bit...maybe its the weather or the way I feel now when I am trying it...I do not know, but I love it. Sillage not too big, longevity...I have it on my wrist for like 3 hours and its still strong

Testing this from a sample I received from LuckyScent. This is classically feminine-style fragrance. Orange blossom, lime and musky jasmine are front and center at the opening. I don't get a lot of fruit, and there is a slight caramel-vanilla hint. As this progresses, the lime is less prominent and an almost laundry type musk emerges that smells like an herbal lily of the valley. At the base, patchouli, died down musky jasmine detergent, and orange blossom. I do like this fragrance. It is clean and complex. Sometimes I smell the orange, other times the musk, then lime. Longevity is good, sprayed at 8am and still had detectable fragrance at 7pm. Sillage underperforms on me.

Received free sample from LuckyScent. All I can say, although it is listed as unisex perfume here, it is as feminine as it goes, even when on my skin after about hour it starts giving slight whifs of gunpowder behind massive dried fruits. Nice, but not extraordinary scent for women. Performance is very good, as for most fragrances from this brand. Longevity borderline between long and very long lasting, sillage and projection between heavy and enormous. Could be used all year long except most hot and humid summer days.

Just received a sample of this from LuckyScent and I dont smell any note that is listed except for bergamot if bergamot smells like limes. This is powerfully fruity but to me, not in a good way, just way too intense lime. Overpowers any other note. Maybe after a few hours it will smell different but it's been twenty minutes and if I did not just take a shower I would shower and wash it off. Limes, limes and more lime.

This one is really good. My best Micallef sample so far - the notes listed are deceiving. This is a tart, fizzy candy but realistic orange blossom, sweet tart fruit compote, really nice. Fresh but sweet. Wasn't expecting much from the notes, my take would be: Top: Bergamot, orange blossom, tangerine Mid: jasmine, mixed fruits (maybe cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple) Base: Patch, musk

Strong, overly sweet patchouli and a fresh fizzy fruit drink, then sharp orange blossom and jasmine. An underlying mix of unidentifiable herbs and spices. Lasts only a few hours. It's a more complex and interesting offering than others I've tried from M. Micallef, but like most from this house, while it's classically feminine, understated, and elegant, it's also not very exciting.

got my tester pack yesterday... maybe i need to give more time for this scent, but from the first impression its purely chopard wish. first thing i did today, i checked notes in both them. perhaps mix of caramel and patchouli creates such impression. considering the difference in price... i probably would not go for a full version

I can smell a rose and nutmeg, little bit of fruit, little bit of bergamot...plus patchouli and musk in the dry down. It’s not spectacular but inoffensive all year rounder. “Rich auntie” spot in!
