25 Anniversary

This is a yes and no. It’s quite vintage-smelling, which I do love. It reminds me of Coty Ghost Myst, which has that aquatic floral combination that I don’t think is too popular these days. This pulls at my heart strings because it’s nostalgic. However, it does smell dated, so I don’t know if I would want to wear this in public or just enjoy it privately at home. It projects pretty well, and although it has the white florals that Coty has, there’s a note or two in here that’s overpowering the rest during the dry down. Would it be the rose and bergamot? They feel screechy, heavier and less soothing to my nose, in effect. I still think it’s a beautiful scent, but maybe the blending of notes could have exhibited more finesse.

I got this for free with a purchase of Ylang in Gold...and I think it’s different from the 25 Years Vanilla that other reviewers have referenced, although the bottles look the same. This doesn’t smell like vanilla to me at all but more fruity/green. It isn’t a scent I’m obsessed with, but it’s nice enough and I’ll probably wear it in casual situations.

This is a really nice vanilla, refined, discreet, with soft caramel sweetness. I really like it. It keeps getting better with time. I believe it is similar to Vanille West Indies, which I also have. The notes listed on fragantica are totally wrong 😑

I received this for free when I placed an order on the M.micallef site and spent a certain amount of money. No wonder it was free this really stinks. It’s nothing like the notes listed I don’t smell a single one of those notes this smells like one flat note of something very vintage and off putting. I never wear it and had to remove it from my shelf to make room for a new fragrance. That says about all it needs to say.

Is this the same as the MICALLEF 25 YEARS VANILLA? The bottle and box looks exactly like mine but the notes here are different. I purchased my bottle directly from the Micallef website. Below are the notes according to the Micallef website. Head Notes: Bergamot and Grapefruit Heart Notes: Vanilla, Rose and White Flowers Base Notes: White Musk, Sandalwood and Benzoin This is a beautiful vanilla scent. It's sweet in a soft and appealing way, never overwhelming. It's like a softly spiced vanilla with a delicate touch of citrus. It's gorgeous on the skin and lasts a long time.
