Mon Parfum Pearl

I love this. It’s blended together beautifully. Even though the notes are something you might see on any perfume nowadays, this is NOT the average smell of walking into the perfume department of a store where they all sort of mish-mash together. It is much more refined and classy than that. Mostly I get the soft rose, a little powder (I do not like over-powdery perfume), orange, some berryish scent and musk, but as I said, it's blended expertly so no one note takes precedence over another. The notes listed from the Micallef sample I received are: Rosebud, tangerine, black currant, heliotrope, centifolia rose, peony, rice powder, white musk and vanilla bean. I would love to own a full bottle!

Such a feminine and pretty fragrance. I feel like this is under hyped compared to the other Micallef perfumes and it definitely deserves more recognition. It’s a really powdery, sweet, creamy, well rounded floral combination.🧴🌸🥛 It’s VERY powdery so keep that in mind, you have to enjoy powdery fragrances to appreciate this one. To me, I imagine if a pink plush powder puff used for makeup had a smell, it would smell like Mon parfum pearl. Also the bottle is GORGEOUS and this has GREAT longevity and sillage.

Such a darling of a perfume that I treasure like the pearl that it is. The bottle couldn’t have been more precious—I love it so much. It’s soft and elegant, powdery yet refined, and ultimately comforting. It’s an ethereal and feminine petal hug combined with the soothing nature of rice. One of my go-to bedtime scents. If I ever I get married, this could potentially be my fragrance.

Slightly anonymous fruit smoothie; classically French stuff with velvety-gentle transitions between notes and phases. Not really my territory - all a bit girlish and light-pink-y for me - but somehow not all that inspiring or surprising anyway... it all slightly melts into a rather generic, if still luxe, vague fug of delicate lotion-y sweetness. Sweet and mild overall, though to its credit it doesn't cloy or shriek - everything's well under control. Smell of an upmarket but characterless hotel's bathroom freebies? Totally inoffensive, could be worn anywhere or to anything, with discreet to modest projection and performance to match its pretty discreet ambition. Very femme in my view, but wear whatever you like. The later musk-powder-vanilla phase is the one I enjoy most ... and my official sample card from Micallef claims the powdery note at the bottom is "rice powder", which would make sense because it's oddly toasty and authentic and warm compared to the rest of the scent, on my nose at least. Competent and classy, but for me - it's just a meh. Lovers of specifically powdery florals may adore it though.

I decided to buy this blind, as I like rose, heliotrope, orange, musk and powdery perfumes. I don't pick up much vanilla (which is another scent I like). Thankfully, I like it, though I wouldn't say I love it. It reminds me of a scent I used years and years ago – possibly LouLou?? The bottle is lovely and I think it will be a nice, soft scent for daytime wear, especially in the spring and summer.

A poudre, warm rose that reminds me of Kenzo Amour. My sample card states black currant, tangerine and rose bud in top notes. Rosa centifolia and peony in heart notes. Base notes state rice and two others, so a bit different than on Fragrantica. And I feel blackcurrant and tangerine in the opening. Then it turns warm and the rose is covered in rice stream and I think in musk.

Lovely powdery musky scent. Very clean and comforting! It has nice sweet (a bit nutty) undertones as well as sheer heliotrope with its makeup-y qualities. Floral notes here are super powdery and cosmetic. Very tender and feminine. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Powdery and creamy soft and classy. A well-made scent that gives you the comfort of smelling classy :) I wouldn't mind a bottle.

For some reason this is giving me J'adore vibes. It is quite sharp. A bit to green and fresh for me. The blackberry is green and unripe. The roses are unopened and full of thorns. This is powdery but quite cold. I don't think this is the type of fragrance for me. This is also quite a headache inducer for me just like J'adore. If you like green roses w/ a bite and plenty of thrones this is a perfume you should check out. Edit: 11/12/24. This fragrance is like mixing jadore and Chanel comete together and I dislike both of those perfumes..

I love this one so much. It's a beautiful rosy, powdery fragrance with a slight make-up/lotion sort of quality to it. It's fresher than other make-up/powder scents and never feels cloying on my skin. It's wearable, classy, very feminine and smooth as most Micallef fragrances are. I see that they are discontinuing it so I bought a few back-up bottles as there is something about this fragrance that scratches an itch that other similar ones don't. I can see the comparison to Guerlain meteorites - it's sharper and I can really smell the apple. The bottle is really lovely as usual from this house and I will really miss this scent when it's gone.

On paper, this was a strong like, but on my skin this turns into sweet baby powder and ends up a miss. It's not bad smelling by any means but I can't help but think of a freshly washed, powdered, and diapered baby when I smell this. In the same wheelhouse as Burberry Body and Kenzo Flower, but with more emphasis on the baby powder aspect so there is an evocative innocence to this scent. Strongly recommended if that is your vibe.

Fresh roses, mixed florals and slightly sour fruits, then powder, powder, powder. Very short lived on my skin, although it wafted around for much longer when sprayed on my scarf. The scent is classy, elegant, understated - everything I'm not! There's nothing wrong with this fragrance per se, but it's not to my personal taste. Nothing outstanding about it, it just smells like nice a bubble bath.

Mon Parfum Pearl reminds me of Trussardi's My Name blended with My Scent. It also reminds me of Rosa Pop but less punchy and tart. It's a smooth and slightly creamy floral perfume, powdery from heliotrope (not like baby powder), with some tartness from sweet berries. Pretty, girly, inoffensive.

Powder and flowers, and flowers, and flowers! And some fruitiness. I love it, it is airy, dreamy, light like a feather and great for warm weather. Great as a signature scent, very elegant without being vintage. I would say it is not at all identical, but in the same olfactive area as J'adore.

Smells just like Trussardi my name, but with a different opening. A little stronger than trussardi, but the exact same dry down. Powdery, musky and slightly sweet. It's very comforting but can be a bit talc powdery to some. Really nice bedtime fragrance!

Very nice and feminine powdery perfume. I bought it blindly with the sample and unlike original Mon Parfum which I love, this one does not fit me. I am offering the original (not used) for sale. Preferably in EU :)

Peony, powder and petals, Mon Parfum Pearl is an uber floral scent that is sharp and sweet. Decent overall performance. Not my style so this isn’t a down vote but it is a pass.

I have a tester of this, but it’s a miss for me. Far too much heliotrope and vanilla on me. A shame as I love Pure Extreme so I was hopeful about this.

It is light, delicate and powdery. A very nice scent but nothing extraordinary considering its price.
