Puzzle No. 1

Such a beautiful and elevated take on peach! I love how floral-fruity this is with the osmanthus and orchid (a fantasy note, though there is something thick and smooth and floral that just screams "orchid" in this composition), with the woody base. I think this is the perfect osmanthus scent for me, straddling the fruity and floral and slightly tea-like, green and bitter qualities that I have always adored growing up and drinking osmanthus tea! Puzzle No. 1 also projects fantastically. I never go noseblind to this scent and it lasts at least 6 hours projecting, and after a night's sleep it's still stronger than a skin scent on me. Dare I say, Puzzle No. 1 beats out the other osmanthus scents in my collection that were my previous favourites - SL Nuit de Cellophane, La Panthere Parfum, and shockingly Amouage Sunshine W!

My absolutely favorite perfume is Ylang in Gold, which costs an obscene price in Switzerland. Trying to make the best out of my last travel to Nice, I stopped by Cannes and wanted to visit Micallef's boutique (that unfortunatelly has closed)... at least I managed to find a beauty salon where I could try some perfumes from Micallef I still didn't know. My first reaction to Puzzle was: "WOW, I need this!" I could smell a sophisticated fruity scent, well balanced mix of pear, vanille, woody orchid and some other scents I could not identify. of course I tried at my skin and waited a long while to see how this beauty would develop in my skin... I have to say I was so disappointed because after a while the perfume has changed completed in my skin... at the paper it had the potential to become a signature scent, but in my skin it was way too much spicy for my taste... Finally I went for my second favorite, but I still have to come back to this one, maybe in another season (I tried it in a very hot autumn day that felt more like a summer day, wearing business clothes...). Unfortunately the store could not provide me any sample of this because it was quite new, but maybe in my next travel to Paris or Cannes...

Peach all the way! Starts like a fresh peach juice , then are emerging flowers, spices, folowed by balsamic vanilla and sharp wood. It's very well balanced and i can sense the peach through all the stages. Interesting fruity fragrance.

this so crazy mixture,stunning,elegant, you gonna feel about a strange thing inside of this fragrance good job micallef and it's realy puzzle because you can't guess what is inside. projection 10/10 very modern smell 10/10 10/10.
