Soleil Passion

Wow, I just recently pick this perfume up and I love it! When I smell it, for some reason I imagine sunset over the small peaceful town that blooms in flowers and rests near Mediterranean Sea... Pomegranate is main player to me, I feel it distinctively entire time I have perfume on my skin... Strawberries and citruses go away quickly after initial spray and get replaced by flowers, but they are also subdued and it all rests on base of gentle musk. This is delicate and light scent with passionate and sexy twist of pomegranate. Like sunset, it is balancing between day and night. Very multidimensional... Performance is decent. It last on skin about 6-8 hours. But it sits close to skin and I don’t mind it. I do catch a whiffs of it. This perfume is so versatile and universal that I would recommend it to anyone. It can be worn anytime, it is unisex and suits many occasions.

This is a wonderful summer fragrance 😍. I love how it’s fruity and floral, yet not your typical “summer” fragrance. The notes blend really well together and I find myself reaching for it every day on sunny days. Upon first spritz you get a wonderful blast of the strawberry and Pomegranate and then it becomes more floral, with the fruit notes still dancing quietly in the background. I find this perfume very elegant and bright 💓.

One of my personal favourites for Summer! Absolutely gorgeous fruity delicious scent. I absolute love M.Micaleff perfumes as they are always elegant and chic. Even though this is a fun fruity scent it’s done in a bright and elegant way and not childish 10/10.

It is a superb spring-summer scent, I’m so glad that I tryed it last week. So brilliant, mouthwatering pomegranate note that I love!!! Wery good the lilies with these fruits-not that usual boring fruity floral. Long lasting with good sillage. Thanks for it!

This one is great for spring...so unique

A very fresh, fruity floral scent with an aquatic touch, all layered on a woody base. I grew up in a rural area and I am very familiar with how wild strawberries smell and I don’t think Soleil Passion captured well their essence/natural scent. It’s more pomegranates, water lily, ambergris and woods. It’s a nice, subtle scent that smells more unique than what designers are currently releasing, I will give it that, but it’s nothing special, I simply don’t love the scent. If I am to discuss the price, again, I don’t think it’s worth the money! Neither the juice, nor the performance justify the price for me. Season wise, I see Soleil Passion more of a spring and summer type of fragrance, because it’s fairly light and quite close to the skin, with the mention that there’s nothing sunny/solar about it. I don’t think the juice matches well the name they chose for this scent!

Not sure why the rating isn’t higher but this is a great spring/summer scent. I get mostly pomegranate and LOTV as the main notes, but it reminds me of a fruity, aquatic mojito with that mint (nothing alcoholic, just the drink vibe I get). Great summer scent that I always have to remind myself to spray cause every time I do, I realize how much I’ve missed it! It’s nothing revolutionary but I think it’s a very well done LOTV as that’s not a note that I typically enjoy. As someone below said, not juvenile but still a nice fruity aquatic scent. And the bottle is beautiful too.

The ambergris is done so well in this fragrance. I feel like it's this house's signature. I usually detest strawberry, but is so lightly done here that it JUST avoids being obnoxious so that I don't mind it. I think it's partly due to how the water lily seems to dilute the strawberry note. The vibe is youthful but not juvenile, sweet but not totally innocent. I have a full bottle, mostly bc I'm a collector and the bottles in this collection are gorgeous! I probably won't repurchase it once used up.

I’m usually hesitant to order anything with a strawberry note, but this has the perfect amount of tartness from the pomegranate and orange that rounds it out so it’s not overly cloying. The 🍓 is there but not center stage. It’s fruity but with a cold crispness that makes it the perfect transitional fragrance from winter to spring. I like this but I think the 9ml sample I ordered should be sufficient enough

This smells like the perfect summer holiday in an exotic place. Creamy, sweet, but a bit sour as well. I don't think I've smelled anything similar before, I think it's a one of those profiles that stay with you.

I don't get any of the sour experience. I get a massive dose of ambergris and a whisper of an earthy strawberry. Even so, I really, really like this.

I love M. Micallef perfume quality in general. This scent was tested in mid-Winter. While I love most of the ingredients in Soleil Passion, the ambergris does not suit it while it is pungent in the first 5 minutes, and takes it from being a light spring fragrance to something that is stronger and perhaps suited for summer because of the way the ambergris and sandalwood mix. To be fair, the ambergris and sandalwood decrease within 10 minutes and make the fragrance much less fruity and more ocean-like. Without the ambergris SP could have been a more mass appealing product because most people decide in the first 15 seconds if they like a scent or not and the ambergris seems too strong at first. However, kudos to M. Micallef for not doing something for mass market appeal and offering something different: a natural smelling ocean/sea salt leaning fragrance.

A pretty, floral-fruity scent with pomegranate, wild strawberry, and mandarin up top. I had a feeling I’d like it based on the notes—and I did... at first. Unfortunately, it disappears on skin. Poof. Gone. Nothing special, sigh. Just didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Notes sound divine, but In the opening I was excited for sharpness of the fruit but instead like someone else said....I got a waft of gasoline, car oil. Ambergris or some very sour leather scent made this hard to get past opening. Dry down was manageable and prettier

Wow, I got Soleil Passion as part of the 2022 Advent Calendar, both as a 10 ml travel spray and a 30 ml bottle. I really like it. On my skin really does go through all the notes listed. I starts with a very nice fruity note with the mandarin and strawberry, and it almost feels like a fruity gourmand perfume, this last on me about 2-3 min, and then I can smell the lilly fo the valley, and specially the Water lily transforming it from fruity to a cool aquatic very fast. Then for a couple of minutes there is a bit of a sour note (maybe the pomme granate?) which disappears and the perfume returns to a sweet aquatic coolness (which reminds be a bit of the coolness of Zoologist Beaver). Finally, when the base notes emerge, I get a "sunny" musky woodiness that is very pleasant. On my skin longevity is really good, I sprayed on both my hands dorso one night before going to bed, and it was still there the next morning. Sillage is strong at the beginning, and then is about an arm's length. This is definitely good for daytime wear in warmer days, especially in Summer. (BTW, I don't get that oil smell some reviews mention).

This, unfortunately, turns into a sour mess on my skin. There’s an underlying note of leather as well (though there is no leather note in the perfume description) that just overtakes everything here and makes this scent unbearably awful. The ambergris mixed with the sandalwood feel like a terrible mix...as if someone else got sick and threw up all over me 😱🤢🤮 it smells that bad!!! I am not sure why my skin is reacting so badly to Soleil Passion but there it is...😓 there is no soleil here and certainly no passion other than I passionately dislike it 😵💫😵 thank goodness, this was just from a sample and not a full bottle. I highly recommend trying it first!!!

DELICIOUS summer fragrance. It’s extremely juicy and fruity. Not synthetic at all the fruits smell so realistic. I know mint is not listed in the notes, but this smells exactly like a strawberry cocktail blended with fresh mint leaves.🍹🍓🍃 It has great longevity and sillage. Love love love

I get no fruit which is kinda insane. All I get is ambergris and like a few of the comments, motor oil??? Gosh. The notes sounded soooo promising but it is terrible on my skin. Bummer.

I must agree with Dramaloladiva here. I bought a sample of this based on a video by Jus de Rose recommending this as a beautiful feminine spring/summer fresh fragrance that was new for this year. The notes look so promising. And I almost like it, but there is definitely something sour or "off" hiding under the presence of the opening juicy fruit notes. When I went back to double-check the notes I really expected to find cassis listed, because cassis gives off a cat-pee smell in some fragrances. I think there may be too much ambergris in this or something. It's animalic but in a way that doesn't mesh well with the light, fresh, beautiful notes present in the rest of the fragrance.
