Ylang In Gold Nectar Edition Speciale

I first tried it in colder weather, and it smelled like a very sweet, 1,000,000-calorie banana milkshake. Now that I've tested it in warmer weather, I'm detecting geranium bitterness and a hint of citrus in the opening, which adds more complexity to this fragrance. I still notice an overwhelming sweetness in the top notes; I can almost taste the sugar in my mouth for the first 15-20 minutes. However, it then transitions to reveal yellow florals and creamy sandalwood, still sweet but more balanced. So, while the opening was not great to my taste, I appreciate the scent it evolved into. It will be good for summer nights when it's still warm enough for this fragrance to showcase its beauty, yet not too hot for it to become overpowering.

I bought this in Maison Peony and the picture showed Ylang In Gold Nectar that's not the special edition and I noticed that is a completely different perfume. It's ok, but I really don't like it as much. This flanker smells like vanilla ice cream in a cloying way, it barely smells like Ylang Ylang and it's not summery at all. I lasts for only 3 hours and sits too close to the skin. Thankfully, I layered it with Ylang Ylang Nosy Be eau de parfum and it works marvelously. If I didn't had the YYNB, I would've returned it.

I have never heard anybody talk bad about this synthetic mess! All I smell is a powdery plastic smell or a moter oil note that makes me nausea

Creamy sandalwood -vanilla-coconut sofisticated fragrance. Much better that the original for me because i don’t like so much ylang flower but this is💜💜💜 perfect balance gurmandish floral, you can smell the coconut and vanilla with tropical yelow but sweet flowers, its a dry powdery parfume. The original gives me nail polish vibes.
