Crème D'Nude

This totally smells like Warm Vanilla Sugar, but less plastic, and with a smoother drydown. I like it, it's a really good everyday scent if you like vanilla. The caramel is definitely there but it's not as syrupy as the caramel in something like Viva La Juicy Gold Couture. The musk just adds creaminess, body, and warmth to the scent, and it's not a super fresh white laundry musk or anything, but it's not Egyptian musk either. It almost smells like a lotion. There is a waxiness to the smell, which is oddly enough also present in Warm Vanilla Sugar. I don't smell the suede at all, and I'm glad, because I don't usually like the bitterness of a real suede note. I was actually afraid of ordering this because people said it was "dirty", which is usually not a good sign for me, but I don't get that at all. The sillage is not huge, but it does have moderate lasting power. I'm starting to really like this. Edit: I actually smell the suede now. It's not sharp, it's sort of subtle. I think this is where people get the "dirty" note. It makes the perfume more skin-like and really sexy! It's almost like human pheromones. It does give the perfume some darkness and depth.

Creme D'Nude is truly suede-like, I can't get enough. It's the smoothest musky scent I've ever tried, the equivalent to sliding your freshly shaved legs across silk sheets. Pure magic. The caramel makes it sweet and sensual, the musk and suede makes you crave it. The neroli is very minimal, I can barely detect it. My obsession with this started at the mall, where I sprayed it on my hand at a MAC counter, not expecting much, and I was holding my hand to my face all day until I got home... when I decided I needed a full bottle immediately. At first it seemed generic and sweet, but wearing it is a whole other level. It's so worth trying. It lasts about 3 hours until it dries down into, quite surprisingly, a clean-ish musk... linen-y and almost a little soapy. At that point I just re-apply to bring back the magic of Creme D'Nude. This could almost replace my long-running signature scent.

This is my all time favorite fragrance, it is the sexiest, easiest and most versatile scent I've ever stumbled upon. It feels like a warm hug. I've been wearing it since 2017 and it's getting really hard to find in Europe. Despite the fact that I have 3 backups, I am desperately trying to find something similar for years. I feel like none of the suggestions here or on any other forums come close (except maybe BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar, but it lacks the suede and it last about 10 minutes on the skin). If you love Creme d'Nude as much as I do, I'll save you all the trouble and suggest you try ELDO's Clean Suede (be patient until the lemon tea note wears off, 15-30 minutes) + Cuir de Nuit by Yves Rocher. The combo projects better, lasts longer and is a bit sweeter in the drydown. By no means it replaces Mac, but it's the closest I've got so far.

Vanilla,Caramel musk...beautiful. I have re purchased this because i love it and it has been one that i throw on if i am rushing and don't know which perfume to spray or i am out and about and fancy that cosy smell and i get compliments with it. i can't remember how long it lasts but i would say you can get 5 hours out of it and i can occasionally get a whiff of it but i think others smell it. The dry down is just gorgeous. When you first spray it, you might think it is really strong and sweet but once it settles, it is just delicious. I didn't want to believe it but Creme d'nude definitely comes in my top 5/10 (i am re jigging my list due to new purchases). Right up my street and maybe similar to Prada candy. I have come to realise that i enjoy simpler perfumes, ones that are not rammed with too many different notes.

I have Warm Vanilla Sugar EDP and EDT versions and i understand those who said this is similar to Creme d'Nude. But hear me out, this is a gem.. opening is not the best but after 2-3 minutes this perfume reveals the mix of caramel, suede, vanilla beauty and i am telling you it's beautiful and sexy. This is safe to say best cheapie suede scent. Warm Vanilla Sugar doesn't smell leathery unlike Creme d'Nude. I got my second bottle and i will be repurchasing. Longevity is not that great but considering this price and how captivating this scent is, i am totally ok with that. I also think color of the bottle and name of this scent suits this perfume quite well. If you love suede like me please go check this, you will be happy with the purchase.

This is a warm oriental vanilla; quite like a chai latte with a generous pump of bourbon vanilla. A unique feminine gourmand that is a perfect day fragrance and also has a bit of a lived in quality, having that lactonic-latte hit. This fragrance is unavailable in the UK, I’m pretty sure it is discontinued; I bought this online, likely double what I paid for the two bottles of this I got in my early twenties when it was released. I’m sure I was paying £35 per 30ml bottle, but I know prices on designer perfume have sky rocketed since 2016. Haven’t found a fragrance quite like this; only similar fragrances that are stronger and more suited to “evening time”. I always found this a very sultry perfume and got quite a few compliments on this!

I smelled a sample of this a long time ago and I could never stop thinking about it. I stopped myself from buying it because I thought it was too feminine for me to wear (which is stupid because I wear ladies' perfume all the time). Well, I finally pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. I love this stuff...no matter how ladylike it is. Creme d'Nude is a sheer, creamy musk that is perfect to wear when you don't feel like wearing much. It most certainly sits close to the skin, but it is there. I can definitely smell it. Despite the caramel/vanilla, the sweetness is very mild. You won't get a toothache from this stuff. This is the epitome of cozy, a little sexy even. This is one of my new favorites.

Seriously enjoying this one from the Shadescents line. Resembles Elizabeth & James Nirvana Bourbon, but Creme de Nude is much more subtle. When I wear EJ Bourbon, I kind of feel clubbed over the head by the woods. CdN's woodiness is toned way down and the feminine musk is dialed up. The vanilla is dry and the caramel, smokey. Far less syrupy than Prada Candy. A plus for me. The amber/musk dry down is fabulous. Lasts 4-6 hours on my skin. This scent is a layering wonder. Works well with overt florals to add depth and complexity and it rounds out strident chypres to soften the edges. Now, if only MAC would expand the line to bath & body.

I have my favorite Glade scent, the Sheer Vanilla Embrace candle, in my bedroom and even when it’s not burning, I’ll often get a waft of cuddly vanilla musk when I’m near it. MAC’s Crème D’Nude is the closest perfume I have found to the Glade fragrance and I absolutely love it. It’s one of the best vanilla musks in my opinion. I sometimes find Coty’s Vanilla Musk too cloying. And neroli can be a tricky note in fragrances for me, but the neroli in Crème D’Nude is blended beautifully and gives it just enough floral touch. Overall, it’s a great casual, cuddly fragrance for fall, winter, and evenings relaxing at home.

Prada Candy + blonde suede + Molecule 01. It's unlike anything else I have, and something I definitely pull primarily for cozy 'snuggle' activities. No one else can smell it on me unless they are *close* but it is the softest most angelic suede ever - and for that reason alone, it's a great part of my collection. It's not heavy in any way, and I love it. Just like Velvet Teddy, I think this is a gem, but not worth a crazy resale price. Looks like MAC found some stock in the back warehouse, so you can get it on their website, Nordstrom, and Macy's right now. Worth picking up for a good price!

Someone on here said it smells like “a chic lady’s suede handbag with makeup and an open pack of cigarettes inside” and I don’t think it can get any more accurate than that. A lovely, classy skin scent, probably most fitting for the 30+ crowd in the fall. I really love the way these notes play together. I’ve always loved neroli and caramel, and I’m really starting to fall in love with suede, I think it rounds out the musk beautifully so it’s not “too much”. Well done concoction here, shame it’s discontinued.

sprayed this one in a mac store once and left, after about twenty minutes i ran back and bought a bottle, then got nervous about using it so bought another, then heard it was going away so i bought another. then my mom smelt it on me and bought it. it’s so warm and cozy, very vanilla very musk, arguably not the most unique scent but combined so beautifully im sure a similar dupe exists but i am so obsessed with this exact formula im glad i have multiple

If you like classic Bare Vanilla by VS, you’ll like this fragrance. It’s smells exactly like it to me, but with more depth. Sweet & vanilla on initial spray then dries down to a lightly sweet & skin musk scent that sits on the skin like a cozy cashmere sweater. I love it and I think it perfect for this transitional time of year & into early fall. Once it gets cold I’ll trade it for the sexy older sister Eilish for something more spicy vanilla. TGTGIGI

I am shocked by the comparisons and bad reviews... for me, this is a quite strong, warm, somewhat smoky, and definitely vanilla compliment-getter. I used to wear this a lot back when it first came out. It is perfect for a chilly fall day or evening. Warm, cozy, comfort in a bottle. I hate leather in fragrances and I don't really detect it here. This is a 10/10.

I love this one! I bought it because I wanted a good perfume for autumn and it was cheap. I must say it makes a perfect scent for the autumn time, it’s very smoky but also sweet so it has nice balance. However I have noticed that some people think it smells like straight up cigarettes, so I don’t wear it as often anymore. But personally I really enjoy it.

A very creamy great scent. Long lasting enough (around 7 hours on my skin and way better on clothing) and definitely a compliment taker. I loveeee this scent. And now i can't find it anywhere. So i hope mac doesn't discontinued this. İf that's so i'm gonna be very depressed, very soon. Cause my last bottle is almost ended.

I have never received so many compliments as I do when I wear this one. When I first tried this I had a sample and sprayed it in my car, when I went back in my car the next day it developed into the nicest smell I have ever smelled in my whole life. I wear this almost everyday. It’s never sickening just amazing.

MAC Creme D’nude was a blind buy and I am so glad I purchased it. I have been on a hunt for a similar discontinued scent by KKW called Nude Lips, and this is so similar. Nude Lips is just a tad bit sweeter. This perfume is warm, sweet, and with a hint of floral. It’s a subtle perfume, and not too overwhelming.

Sweet woody and musky. It does remind me slightly of Lacoste pour femme but less floral and a bit more subtle. The opening is caramel and vanilla but it dries down with less in your face sugar and more woody musk with a coating of sweetness. Inoffensive and could be a dumb reach for cooler weather days.

Sweet, musky leather on my skin. Not as sweet as Velvet Teddy but has strong suede notes and is more masculine but not a strong leather scent IMO. Sillage moderate and longevity weak. I don’t love it as much VT but it is a great scent for cold weather. Definitely unique. Can be a unisex fragrance.

These scents are just truly a masterpiece ! The way the scents go in order and how each one connects to the other like ombré .... how clever and each one Is just so beatiful . Get your hands on creme de nude and velvet teddy while you can ladies ! extraordinary

I had to stop myself from wearing this because I was going though it so quick. I have to get a back-up bottle. It is beautiful layered with other creamy, vanilla, & musky perfumes. Fantastic! You may have people asking, "is that you that smells so good?" 🤗

I'm obsessed with this scent, a more muted vanilla which I really like because I often find vanilla scents too strong and sharp. This balances the vanilla with softer and sweeter elements so well.

This is a good scent to relax in, good bedtime scent. Good errand scent. I can smell it, but it is not overwhelming. Sweet but not cloying. I mainly smell caramel.

Although the notes are very populer .. It came out so unique ❤ Sweet n yet mature Cozy I only wish it has bigger size bottle

White Suede by Tom Ford on a budget

Very nice! Sweet + creamy amber/benzoin/vanilla. I see there’s no true amber or benzoin here, but that’s what I pick up on. Something’s a bit spicy and resinous, and it adds a lovely quality. With a heavier spray(s), it’s weightier and syrupy. The resinous quality takes on a bit of a mentholated vibe, which reads very much like a rooibos tea note .. a total surprise and adds to the coziness. Dry-down presents more of the musk and suede, with the faintest bit of play-dough. (That sounds horrifying, but really, it’s unnoticeable.) I hate to use the term “fresh” or “clean” here, because that conjures up ideas of heavy powder or floral or something, which this fragrance is definitely not. I suppose there is a bit of powder here, but the whole blend is just so inoffensive, especially compared to other powerhouse amber-forward scents I’ve tried and enjoyed (Commodity Gold). Creates a nice bubble and lasts longer than I expected. It’s light, but not necessarily airy, as my coworker said. She also described it as “full” .. I like that. Yes, it’s got some body! I was going to say that this isn’t groundbreaking, but there’s an overall quality here that makes it unique. It may not be totally necessary if you already have an amber/vanilla that you love. I’m currently using up an older tester, and, when it’s gone, I’d love to add this to my collection.

Caramel and musk, a 'your skin but better' scent. The name is really fitting, it's creamy and close to the body. Like some others have mentioned, Créme D'Nude is related to Prada Candy. But it's not a dupe in my opinion. Both are caramel and musk focused, but Candy is more lipstick-like and powdery with the typical Prada iris, while CDN is more creamy and clean with a dash of neroli in the top. I also get vanilla similar to the one in Kenzo Amour. I can't smell any suede here, which is unfortunate because that would have given the perfume a nice edge. This is a very safe and cuddly scent that would make a nice everyday choice for the colder months. Simple but delicious and not cloying, also not quite as sweet as other caramels. The performance is only average, which is not unusual for a soft scent like this. It's discontinued now, so if you still find it for a nice price, Créme D'Nude is a good choice, but if the price goes up in the next years, I would not advice to hunt it down, rather get Prada Candy then.

I wore this on New Year’s Eve, out of state. It was my first time wearing this particular Mac scent. I really liked this one. This fragrance is definitely a confidence booster. It made me feel luxurious and beautiful. I just loved pulling the unique bottle out of my purse. It was a vibe. Crème D’Nude opens wonderfully. The vanilla tickles your nose, then envelopes your senses. Initially, you get the musk and the caramel notes right away. Then, in an hour or, it disappears to barely a skin scent. That’s ok! Re-apply... This is not bold or a powerhouse by any means. If you’re looking to take over the room, please bypass this fragrance. But, if you’re looking to rest, subtlety in your feminine energy—grab a bottle. I wore this with my husband, in a whole new city. We went shopping and had an early dinner. Crème D’Nude was absolutely perfect for the occasion. It’s your little secret weapon!

Starts out strangely floral and overwhelmingly musky on my skin. It is a bit sharp/pungent and animalic (possibly because of the suede) in the wet stages as well. It reminds me of Shalimar Parfum Initial, as another reviewer said, but without the powdery iris or the citrus. The caramel and vanilla become more pronounced at the drydown. Once it dries completely, the scent smoothens out and smells closer to a musky Prada Candy (kind of like a sweet skin scent or "amber-musk" and "naked skin" as the description above states). It is sweet but not at all gourmand to my nose. It actually smells strangely floral. It's safe and inoffensive and great for something to grab and spritz when you can't decide what to wear.

My first thought when I sprayed it was "caramelized and slightly salted popcorn dipped in nail polish remover" That is, I said a "yes!" but also an "oops".. As long as it stays on the skin, it smells strongly of leather with "dirty" powder and a little bit of creamy caramel on the edge. It's not the typical sweet gourmand perfume, it smells like a subtle daily perfume for day and night & for every season possibly, a bit sexy but mainly I get something sporty/athletic - I don't understand why, haha (Star sign: Virgo) Edit: now all I can smell is pure salted caramel - it turned into a love -

Beautiful vanilla and musk scent! I heard that this smells like B&BW's Warm Vanilla Sugar, but I feel that it's not quite as sweet, and the musk makes it more sophisticated. This is amazing on it's own, but I can see it layering quite nicely with other perfumes as well. The sillage and longevity are excellent. My husband loves this one and always compliments me when I spray it on before bed. I think it's most appropriate for fall and winter. Out of all the new MAC Shadescents, this is definitely my favorite.

This is an interesting combination of sweet and creamy gourmand notes and the musky-suede. I think the suede is what makes it so smooth. With all these notes, you may think it a heavy fragrance but it's not. Somehow it retains a lightness. Easily unisex. Very interesting, probably not like anything else you have and worth a look if you're into unique scents. I quite like it. It's average longevity on skin but on clothing it lasts much longer.

As a lover of sickly sweet vanilla, this is like the older, sexier cousin of bath and body works warm vanilla sugar. it definitely has a muskiness that makes it more adult and mature. i hoe that this one sticks around long enough for me to get a bottle for myself! it has a certain toffee note that i really enjoy as well. also, for being a sweet smell, it really does have good lasting power. would be good for a young professional!

This is a largely sueded musk-dominated scent, with caramelized vanilla that is somewhat close to the skin. After some time, the suede starts to warm up and come forward, and I’m getting tobacco, as well (probably how I perceive the ambrette note). In short, this smells like the inside of a chic lady’s suede handbag with makeup and an open pack of cigarettes inside. Very cozy and delicious warm skin scent. It’s beautiful.

A little similar to WVS bit not quite. Only because warm vanilla sugar is sweeter with vanilla, but with this fragrance, the sweet doesn't stand out as much as I'd like. The notes that stand out to me are= * small amount of sweetness, *some vanilla and suede, with suede running the show after an hour. This perfume seems boring to me, similar to Warm vanilla Sugar but WVS wins by a landslide. Just a poor man's WVS

I tried this out today, while I did not purchase it here is my review: I don't personally wear very sweet or gourmand fragrances, so bearing that in mind, I think this is a really lovely scent. This is a very soft caramel, balanced out by musk, which keeps it from being too sugary, while still being sweet. This feels like a safe everyday wear! This scent to me is someone soft, trustworthy, with a pretty smile.

It’s a fresh vanilla. I sense the rice kind of complex to it, especially smelling it from the bottle. Sprayed on its sweet, almost a similar scent to the Mac lipsticks but it’s a dry sweetness. There’s a mysterious green note playing around it, fading in and out of the dry down. I really love it but have to be in a mood for it. I wish they’d bring back the rest of the shade scents line to revisit....

This is a nice cozy scent! I love the suede, vanilla, caramel and musk in this. It’s very nice and well blended. This is a nice skin scent, a “your skin but better scent” perfect for cold days just chilling around the house or when you want to smell simple, warm and nice. Longevity and silage are ok for me. It’s not a beast mode fragrance but it’s not supposed to be. I like this one!

Smells almost identical to Kenzo Amour. Only it has a more pronounced note of musk covering the sweet powdery vanilla. Quite pleasant but not that special. I bought it because I heard a lot of people say it is very similar to Warm Vanilla Sugar but sadly I don't get any of that (WVS is much sweeter).. To me it is simply a dupe for Kenzo Amour. I like wearing this on days when I’m relaxing at home. It’s a warm cozy type of scent. Not beast mode but very subtle and sits close to the skin. Definitely a suede, vanilla, almost smells like vintage makeup. Musky and powdery, also a creaminess to the fragrance. This is not a beast mode fragrance but on days when you want something subtle and comforting then yes.

It is definitely related to Warm Vanilla Sugar...but it's even better! Creme d'Nude is what I always wanted WVS to be...it's got all the right notes without that plasticy undertone all B&BW scents have. Creme d'nude's sweetness is balanced beautifully by a pure, clean amber. This is great for an easy, anytime anywhere fragrance.

Not technically a review as I didn't spray on to my skin. They had the whole range in my local Mac store today and I had a sniff of each of the bottles, this was probably my favourite of the bunch. Was very creamy vanilla sweet smelling, not sickly sweet. But soft and enveloping if that makes any sense.

I actually really like this. It reminds me of a hug. It's warm and cuddly, but not overbearing. I don't get an distinct notes. They all meld together and form this wonderful nude fragrance. Slightly sweet, a little musky. It's a nice fall/winter scent.

soft and light. i wish it had more vanilla sweetness to it. when initially sprayed has some masculine tones to it. performance is meh... 4 hours max and close to skin. it is ok for makeup brand. i want to try velvet teddy too.
