Bitter Flower

Bitter Flower is a pleasant surprise among the floral family, for combining innocence, sensuality, restraint and boldness in a very Mahogany way of being; with quality, good price and self-satisfaction! It opens very fruity and somewhat juicy, Raspberry's note appears very juicy attributing a deeply feminine air openness to the fragrance; I can't perceive citrus, not at all. Then he goes on to a white floral path, giving an impression that will get dirty, but Gardenia gives a legal insured and before everything can be lost, the velvet footprint appears giving a tame in the possible fetid whiteness of the flowers in question. In general terms, Bitter Flower fixes and exudes satisfactorily, within the proposal it effectively presents in its initial marketing, so it is worth the investment in it if it is!

Bitter Flower was launched in 2016 and is classified as floral-woody-musk by the company. It was created by perfumer Roland Theil, who won the award for Best Perfumer in 2014 for the Make Me Fever Gold fragrance. Officially, Bitter Flower features notes of orange, bergamot and raspberry, on top of the composition. Then, the body of the fragrance brings notes of orange blossom, jasmine, wood and gardenia. The bottom of the olfactory pyramid reveals notes of vanilla, patchouli, amber and musk. On the skin, Bitter Flower behaves like a floral-fruity with a musky base. Its output reminds me of the smell of a famous strawberry chewing gum from the 80s, called Sour (Adams). The difference is that here, in place of the strawberry we have the raspberry as a red fruit, a little less acidic. In terms of evolution, after the initial phase passes, the gardenia stands out on my skin. I have read reports of women who felt a greater presence of jasmine, but it was the gardenia that shone here. In fact, it is not the same gardenia used in the fragrances of the Cartier brand, for example, but the refinement content is noticeable. Bitter Flower leaves the sweet sour, goes through the white floral and ends with a sensual musk, which seems to have gained a few drops of vanilla essence during the process. Some say it smells like Lady Million (Paco Rabanne), but I think the latter is stronger and has more personality. However, similarity exists. In my opinion, Bitter Flower carries a little of the style I knew in the fragrances of the Italian brand La Perla, even more because they have many notes in common. That means it's elegant and at the same time harmless in a way. I think it suits the Brazilian girls' style a lot, because it has a youthful style, without being too sweet. It works well in the tropical climate and has a solar and spring aura that is easy to enjoy. The durability is much criticized by the majority and, truth be told, it is not the best. However, the aroma does not disappear in two hours, as they say. On my skin it lasted about five hours. The presentation of the bottle is simple, but it works. The box is beautiful and brings illustrations of flowers, which appear to me to be pink Cosmos.
