In 2016, Mahogany decided to launch Elegance, a masculine fragrance loaded with style and ready to follow trends. To be honest, I think the company should have invested a little more and refurbished most of its fragrance division to this visual pattern, which is very beautiful and suggests more sophistication as if it were an exclusive collection. Elegance is classified as a woody-ambery scent, although it behaves as a good oriental-spicy. It has notes of bergamot, grapefruit, pink pepper and lemon of Tahiti on the head. In the body of the fragrance, we have the notes of ginger, cardamom, and pepper. In the base, notes of amber, woods, musk and tonka beans. Elegance hits the skin in a bit sickly manner. Although it has citrus fruit on the way out, the juicy smell of the grapefruit along with the floral-fruity nuances of pink pepper - yes, contrary to popular belief, pink pepper does not just confer spicy nuances - left the initial impact a bit sweeter than I expected. The body notes also do not seem to exist, as the sweetness of amber and tonka beans dominate. But in a way, the fragrance stabilizes and seems to be more linear than it really is. Comparisons with the fragrance of 212 VIP Men (Carolina Herrera) are also not unfounded. Apart from the initial minutes, in which the latter brings the most evident Caviar Lime (Citrus Australasica) and a more cheerful output, it is difficult to know which is which after a few minutes, when felt side by side, one on each wrist. The differences are very subtle! It is a good cologne, it does not demand a specific age group, but it has greater appeal with younger men. One of the good points, when it comes to similarities, is that Elegance's fragrance seems to be more intense than the other (212 Vip Men), as time goes by.
